Neither of them knew him the same and I can't stop thinking about it.

To Victim, Noogai was an adversary. An anonymous force to fight and lose against.

To Chosen, Noogai was a captor. Cold, unrelenting, and inevitable.

To Dark, Noogai was a stranger. Gentle at first, but ultimately uninterested and aloof.

To Orange, he was all of that and more. Confused, angry, annoyed, afraid–

And then he wasn't.

And then Alan became his father.

also while making this i did have the idea that it was darks ghost just messing with his dream so he could finally put a stop to chosen's guilty conscience, but i'll leave that up to interpretation!!! maybe it was just chosen's subconcious or maybe it was just a plain old nightmare- who knows!!

I like to think that Chosen and Dark were always going to have the protagonist/antagonist dynamic. First of all, it’s literally in their names. “The Chosen One" is the biggest main character energy you can get. And "The Dark Lord" just screams "I'm the bad guy".

After escaping Alan's PC, they kind of just did whatever they wanted. Dark had the opportunity to settle into his namesake quickly bc he had Chosen there to encourage the violence.

On the other hand, Chosen was still finding himself. But the line was drawn when he puts his foot down and wanted to stop Dark. He's not some stick that does whatever he wanted. He's THE Chosen One, designated "good guy" of the story. We see this during the Wanted episode when Chosen stopped flying just to save a stick from being crushed by debris. Bro is literally realizing his 'niche' as the protagonist in the story. He and Dark were just never made to get along.

a few notes from the new avg commentary!

1. alan said that tco's and second's roles are similar, but he won't say anything about their relation to each other — and agreed when dj said it will probably be later explored in the story.

2. second and green are reconfirmed to be the closest to each other!

3. dj referred to dark & chosen fight as "these guys were always destined to go at it", on which alan replied "yup, it's in their code"

4. alan believes red was the best at fighting back in the day of ava4!

5. alan suggested that "maybe only the chosen one can have a mouth"

Next week, the Skittles Gang pits him against the Warden.
