i’m 100% certain the only reason sirius black didn’t burn the whole world to the ground after marlene mckinnon’s dead, the love of his life’s dead, was the fact that suddenly his godson, the son of james potter, his one true soulmate (platonic or not, idc), was in immediate danger and he would’ve done anything to protect him, including swallowing his own grief.
you cannot convince me otherwise.
lily evans (photographer, james potter’s girlfriend): if it weren’t for marlene i wouldn’t be here, to be honest. she introduced me to them. she was the reason i trusted them. god, the sacrifices she made… for them breaking up was the only thing that made sense at the time, the least they could’ve done.
okay, hear me out…
a story written in interview format where famous rock band ‘marauders’ explain once and for all why they broke up back in 1981 following the dead of, according to the media at the time, a random groupie.
james, remus and peter have all lost contact with lead singer sirius black.
where is he now?
is he still alive?
and who was the groupie and why did it matter so much as to mark the end of such a promising band?
marlene mckinnon’s name will haunt the narrative much as she did when she was alive.
(i blame daisy jones and the six for this and damiano david cover of ‘ella baila sola’ cause don’t tell that isn’t sirius singing about marlene)
Marlene McKinnon and Sirius Black
For the @blackinnonfest and @siriuslychessi
100% sure sirius and james would be the loudest at a no doubt concert singing just a girl
Love of my life, you've hurt me You've broken my heart, and now you leave me
Double illustration time because Grant is the legend he thinks he is. There would be no wolfstar in atyd if it wasn't for Grant, let's not forget that, hm? (there would be no post-war Remus at all, actually)
Unfortunately (or not, depends on the point of view) he's always been outshined by one very bright star. The very one Remus is staring at in the second drawing, dare I say
Grant Chapman, they could never make me hate you 😔
the way regulus knew about the dangers of this very clearly a suicidal mission through Kreacher and yet not only did he not back out, he didn't even have any back up plans?? Or some safety measures?? like?? I have no idea what his exact reasons were for betraying Voldemort, to avenge Kreacher or just because he hates the very existence of a hocrux or to protect his family bla bla bla, but either way, he was so offended, and still, no one was forcing him to do this, he went ahead and used the same elf Voldemort tried to kill, in a way, to steal the hocrux all with the intention to get it destroyed and ofc, got himself killed. He didn't need to do any of this but did it anyways?? like why bro.
he had one goal, steal and destroy the hocrux using kreacher. he did all this out of pure spite, 100% a Walburga trait btw, he's literally her son. gosh what an interesting man you are.
"the black family madness" the books call it. "the consequences of inbreeding" is what it actually is
padfoot, sirius
here i am translating a few chapters in advance and completely forgot this moment existed:
"Sirius, in an attempt to encompass the room with his arms, lifted Marlene's hand, which remained in his grasp."
(i'm screaming on the inside)
hmmm okay these were all not rly cursed i cant have you think youre safe from cursed prompts now!
so may i please ask for padfoot/moony/fluffy
hahaha thank you for all your prompts cat! and now it’s time for the first post of your cursed ones… this was not easy so even though it’s sketchy it took a while, considered adding fang to the polycule (as suggested by @lynxindisguise ) but there were already too many heads in the mix 😂
