A short essay (1?)

So, the fandom for the Seduce me game isn’t a huge one. And I haven’t been here long enough to see the popular opinions of the game. (Favorite characters, favorite pairings, general popular opinions, etc.) But still, I imagine my opinion isn’t going to be very well received. Here goes nothing.

I do not like Saero. (In the canon verse anyway. I’ve been a part of an AU where he is redeemed, and I’ve tolerated him. Granted, he gets much much worse before he gets better. So he’s certainly not my favorite still in that verse. But in the canon, Seduce me universe, I really and truly do not like him.) See under the cut for the essay on why.

seduce me the otome: camping headcanons

♤ one day, the boys and mika decide to go camping ! they go to a national reserve, and arrive in a RV. this trip turns out to be traumic ♡

☆ james

james is only one prepared but still manages to get robbed at gunpoint by a raccoon. he and mika stay in the RV. that is until Matthew is playing with mika's febreeze bottle, and then sam uses his lighter on it and it explodes. they no longer have an RV. james does not like camping. he has fun cooking out in the wilderness until while he is gathering berries, he sees suzu dealing crack. after that he walks to the local Walmart to buy food. he books an air bnb after they find erik's body for the first time and leaves the trip. unfortunately, the Airbnb was an unfortunate rating of 1 star(s). someone broke into his room and immediately began attacking james. james hid his body under the mattress by morning and had lost 2 fingers and his dignity.

◇ erik

unfortunately, erik passes away due to mysterious circumstances. during the first night, he hears a mysterious voice from the woods. he goes to investigate, and is found ass naked the next morning face down in front of a tree. he survives the encounter with the voice and does not remember anything from the night. he discovers a secret drug ring while skinny dipping in the local lake. the mafia pull up on him and he is dragged. he does not inform the group that suzu's mafia has begun sacrificing wild squirrels. he returns to the group ass naked once more after a squirrel stole his clothes. later that morning, his body is found by Matthew who accidentally fell on it. Matthew drags back the body in tears, and the group is horrified. the next morning the body is gone and Matthew suspects Sam used it as a boogie board in the lake or simon tabby took it.

sam immediately becomes completely feral. he loses all domestication and joins a bear pack. the boys lose communication with him on day 2 of the trip. instead of lord of dragons, he is lord of rabies. he now eats raw meat. sometimes he will return to the campsite to terrorize Matthew. Nobody believes Matthew when he says sam kidnapped a toddler and beat him over the head with the child. sometimes he will rob suzu's drug clients and leaves the goods for mika under her pillow. mika knows that it is him and leaves a toothbrush and some Colgate nearby for him, which he gladly takes. he doesn't remember how to use the two toiletries and eventually eats the Colgate and sharpens the tooth brush into a hunting spear. he eventually slaughters simon tabby with the murder device and feeds him to his newly adopted bear cubs. he and suzu begin fighting over territory, and sam wins. he takes over her cocaine empire and begins a reign of terror over the forest.

¤ matthew

matthew was sold to one direction by day 6. unfortunately, he burnt the RV down. he was kidnapped for ransom by suzu, but nobody paid his ransom. after suzu abducted him, and nobody paid for his release, he was sold to one direction. mika had to break into the basement they kept him in and help him escape. nobody noticed he was gone during that time. while in one directions basement he learned the sims language and due to his trauma, he has regressed into a sim. only mika understands him.

▪damien

damien immediately befriends the deer. he and mika go on scenic walks around the nature reserve. he discovers how to make jam out of forest berries. ever since Matthew burned down the RV, damien began sleeping in a tree. He enjoyed fishing and collecting pebbles with Erik before he died. he begins hearing voices after his body was recovered. one day he finds a plastic water bottle and two koolaid packets. BONK. he was hit over the head with a hydro flask after his discovery. he wakes up in a bathtub, alone and dazed. a open wound is where his kidney should be. he returns to the camp site with 16 liters of blood missing. mika finds damien's lost kidney on craigslist and purchases it. James helps him put it back in with super glue and some Gatorade. damien no longer likes camping.

You know when I was playing the Sam vs James extra I was half expecting sam to say " OH YEAH? WELL AT LEAST I DONT LOOK LIKE A CARBON COPY OF HER FUCKING FATHER!" Cause honestly there is nothing James could say to top that

God I’d have been so alive if he’d gone there. I fuckin’ wish. He never would for meta reasons but it would have made the rest of the thing worth it.

i’m not sure if you’ve spoken about this before but what do you think about all the replaced mc aus? ofc the bond that mc and the brothers couldn’t be replicated by a new student. the brothers were very reluctant to form a pact with mc and only did so under very specific circumstances and under the knowledge that mc wouldn’t abuse those pacts (bc tbh mc only ever uses the pacts to get them to calm down). and presumably new students wouldn’t stay in the house of lamentation. i can’t remember if it’s stated in the actual story, but i’m pretty sure mc only stayed with the brothers to protect them from the anti-human sentiment in the devildom which seems to have calm down at the end of mc’s first exchange programme. plus the brothers and mc have been through a lot togther bc they were forced to spend so much time together. but i can’t really picture what new human exchange students would look like so i was wondering if you have any posts or if you’ve got old posts that talk about this.

YOU ARE SO LUCKY!?

Finding old posts on my tumblr is so fucking hard (yes yes I'm currently making a masterlist) but yesterday a new person reblogged a bunch of my posts and it's not common enough for people to reblog things, specially in bulk? (which guys likes are great but reblogs are what keeps posts moving y'know) so I went to check what they reblogged and it was the first replaced MC ask - so all I had to do now was go back to their reblog and from there go to my original post & find the rest!

Sorry, that was off topic but yeah...

Yup in S1 they said MC was staying with the brothers because of anti-human sentiment but at this point in S4 they've also said that though some of that is still there people have also become more accepting so I don't think it's likely at all for someone else to end up in the HoL

MC making the pacts were also under very special circumstances;

I have one whole post about Mammon's pact formation and how he said in s3 he wouldn't make a pact with any random human & so why MC never was just any random human

They formed a pact with Levi 'cos they already had one formed with Mammon & so he told them how to go about doing so.

They formed a pact with Beel because they tried to protect Beel from Lucifer at the cost of their own life and listened to his troubles about Lilith's death - Lucifer's come far enough that he's not gonna go around threatening to kill his brothers or random humans and Beel's more or less had his closure that now talking about Lilith won't be a big enough deal to warrant a pact

They formed a pact with Asmo because Solomon gave them a bit of his magic which reacted with the latent magic they got from Lilith and it impressed Asmo

They formed a pact with Satan as a sign of friendship after he first tried to force them into a pact to piss off Lucifer - Satan's no longer at that stage where he would do something like that just to piss off Lucifer

Belphie formed a pact with them because he manipulated them, spent one on one time with them without the others, got released by them & then killed them (and yes maybe a little because they were related to Lilith) - his pact was absolutely a sign that they were both ready to put all that behind them AND that he could no longer hurt them like that

Lucifer tried to frame his pact as a way to establish dominance but he absolutely formed it as a show of trust and to show they were past of the family (afterall the first thing he does in S2 is give them a key to the house) and though Lucifer has grown to trust people more I don't see him trusting people enough to call them close friends and family considering how protective he is over his friends and family. And how he refuses to make a pact with Solomon despite the fact that he now falls into the category of a close family friend

Plus there's a lot of canon evidence that MC isn't fully human and since people can't seem to pin what they are and given Lilith's circumstances they're probably the only one of their kind so I'm not sure how the replaced MC AU would work in that regard...

Also you're not gonna go through so much with one person and then replace them? If anything a friend group will expand to absorb the new people like it's doing with Thirteen, Raphael & Mephisto
