I can’t believe there are people who think that Lana Del Rey actually had a point to make. All she was doing was whining about music reviews and being criticized and dragging other female artists down because they’ve recently done well on the charts. Almost every artist gets criticized for the content of their lyrics, there’s no double standard. She just thinks she somehow above it and apparently that she paved the way for her style of music and lyrical content?? Which is simply not true and the women she listed aren’t really her contemporaries. Like she’s not in the same genre of Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Kehlani, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Megan thee Stallion, or Camila Cabello. They’re all popular artists, but they’re not all pop artists. Lana isn’t even a pop artist! So she has no larger point to make, just a gripe. And made herself sound bitter that she’s not charting like the others are

I really wanted the lightfury took still look marketable but like, her design?? It always sets me off like why she look like that. I also redesigned the nightlights for fun.

Anyway I wanted her to still look nice to girls n shit so here’s the outcome for her

I wish the Light Fury was at least semi-aquatic.

When I first saw the images of her design, the long fin on her back made me think she was. She looked like a beluga whale. Her skin was smooth, wings and tail streamlined, perfect for swimming through the water.

I thought she was an aquatic dragon.

She was not.

Provoked by my sister, I recently began wondering just what the Light Fury would be like if we saw her in the water. I imagined Toothless hearing her call and following it.

He gets to the shoreline of a small pond (think of the one in the cove from the first movie) just in time to see the Light Fury's tail slap the water as she dives under.

He sticks his head under the water, trying to find the creature he just saw. But it's very dark; the Light Fury has practically disappeared. He lifts his head, taking a cautious look around, and then jumps into the water.

And then the creature returns. She's a stark contrast to the darkness of the water. Her scales glimmer as she swims around Toothless at lightning speeds; he tries to turn his body to find her, but she's too fast.

Until she comes up right in front of him, and they get a good glimpse of each other for the first time.

I imagine Light Furies in the Hidden World swimming in the moon pools where we see those manta ray dragons.

I wish we saw this in the movie. It would have given her more personality, as well as made her species more interesting.
