I can’t believe there are people who think that Lana Del Rey actually had a point to make. All she was doing was whining about music reviews and being criticized and dragging other female artists down because they’ve recently done well on the charts. She’s mad that her lyrics have negative connotations that not everyone is going to appreciate just because it’s from her “real story”. Almost every artist gets criticized for the content of their lyrics, there’s no double standard. She just thinks she somehow above it and apparently that she paved the way for her style of music and lyrical content?? Which is simply not true and the women she listed aren’t really her contemporaries. Like she’s not in the same genre of Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Kehlani, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Megan thee Stallion, or Camila Cabello. They’re all popular artists, but they’re not all pop artists. Lana isn’t even a pop artist! So she has no larger point to make, just a gripe. And made herself sound bitter that she’s not charting like the others are

What we know so far about the Slender: The Arrival announcement

#1: On June 22nd at 10:00 a.m., the official Slender: The Arrival Twitter account (@/PlaySlenderTA) made a post. It contained a 13 second video, along with the caption "He's waiting... #slenderman #slenderTA".

What We Know So Far About The Slender: The Arrival Announcement

#2: At 10:07 a.m., the account for Blue Isle Studios quote retweets this post. They add the caption "The countdown has started: slenderarrival.com".

Following the link will lead visitors to the promotional website established for the game. Underneath an image of Slenderman, a countdown can be found.

This countdown is set to end in roughly 34 days.

Beneath a link to the Youtube upload of the teaser video, visitors also have the option to provide their email addresses in order to "stay tuned".

Aside from this teaser and the updated website, no other details about the project have been provided. Fans have begun to speculate on what this announcement could mean for Slender: The Arrival, and what type of product is being teased.

Ahead are a few speculations and theories on what this announcement could be for.

A remake/remaster of Slender: The Arrival. Due to the updated graphics in the teaser video and the fact that it references a scene towards the ending of the original game, many believe that this is a hint that The Arrival is getting a face-lift.

A continuation of the original game. Some fans, while playing the teaser with audio, have noticed that it contains the sounds of male breathing. Assuming that the figure on the stairs is Charlie (since he is the one guarding the stairs in the original scene this teaser is referencing), this breathing sounds too mature to be coming from him. This has led many to theorize that this could be a new protagonist, likely to be an adult male.

Others believe this could be a port to Switch, a PS5-exclusive remaster, etc.

It is currently unknown what will happen once the countdown ends. Many are assuming there will be an official reveal (trailer, proper announcement, etc.), which should finally confirm what exactly it is in regards to The Arrival.

We were robbed of so many things in the deleted scene, but especially this face the Light Fury makes. This moment when the camera focuses solely on her, and what she’s feeling, without including Toothless.

In the deleted scene, she’s real and fallible and actually very snooty. She sniffs Toothless’s auto-tail and grouses about it and flies away while still sneaking a glance back, trying to pretend she isn’t still interested. He makes her laugh, they go on their wild, playful flight through the clouds, she teaches them how to do the stupid lightning thing, and they emerge from the stormhead grinning big gummy inelegant fury grins, happy as can be. And then he licks her and we get this and that’s the moment that everything really changes.

This isn’t some dragon who just checked off the last box on her Big Dumb Call of the Wild Mate Candidate checklist – this is it hitting her that she’s never met anyone like Toothless, who’s fun and unrestrained and wears his heart on his sleeve and absolutely adores her.

It’s earnest and vulnerable and so much more compelling than the Light Fury in the movie, who isn’t allowed to be either of those things because I guess character development isn’t “sexy and graceful.”
