To say Oil was surprised by the physical appearence of this person would be an understatement, she had not been expecting a yordle. Why? She wasn't sure.

Yordles tended to be okay Safe Right?

The apology did seem to calm her slightly as she gave a small nod, her eyes halting their glow, dimming back to blue.

"You and yours do tend to be excellent at sneaking" She agreed, arms crossing loosely over her chest. Even accidentally it would seem. The way he-she was assuming it was a he- spoke reminded her of her cousin, well-spoken. It helped put her at ease. At his question, she swallowed heavily "Is. . .is it that obvious?"

Oil groaned loudly, stopping in place as her head fell back to stare up. At the smoggy sky.

She was really missing the stars.

Her folly-as she had so lovingly named it- sat in pieces in her bag. Which was in eyeview propped up against some crates. Unzipped with her blue hoodie half-hanging out of it. She was keeping an close eye. Didn't want anyone running off with her stuff.

She'd spent the day wandering about, trying to find somewhere familiar in a sea of buildings and people that she simply didn't know. A junk shop in place of the jewellry store, a broken and smashed storefront where she knew to be a resturant.

And of course, she just happened to fling herself back to when her usual haunt just happened to be a functioning factory! So she couldn't even kid herself into believing this was all a bad dream.

"Should have listened. Didn't. Bloody stupid girl" she cursed, a fisted hand slamming into her thigh in annoyance, the pain a relief for the moment before her emotions became a messed up clump again.

A noise caught her attention and she gave her attention in the direction it came from, her eyes starting to change into a bright shimmer purple as her heart began to pound.

Gun hidden under her shirt, back holster.

She narrowed her eyes and cleared her throat

"If you are gonna be a creep. May as well own it!"

Headcanon: Religion and Superstitions

Oil wouldn't count herself as religious in any capacity. She's respectful but turns any attempt to convert her down as gently as she can. Skipping invites to gathering. Bowing her head if she's staying for a meal somewhere where they say a prayer or dump a part of their meal into the flames for their respective deities.

Superstitious however? All too much so

She'll knock on the side of a broken doorway in a ruin to announce herself before exploring.

Back before more of the mining entarances in Zaun were properly monitered, she used to wander through the old tunnels as a child. Hardhat on her head, light on to guide her way and a small carved figure of Janna clutched tightly in her little hand.

She has horseshoes above her outer doors, small bells hanging and salt along the bottom of the windows into the main street. She'll knock on wood to avoid speaking ill into the world, switching to knocking gently on the side of her head if no wooden item is around.

She is incredably superstitious
