This will most likely be my last post on this profile.

For those of you have not heard, I have stepped down from the staff of the SCP Foundation.

I've been at it for ten years, more I think. I've done a lot of good, and seen a lot of good people. But, I have a life that needs more attention at the moment, and, sadly, my only interactions with the site these days is administrative, which isnt fun.

I'm proud of you fuckos. All you writers and readers who have grown along with me as this site turned from something yikes y into something I can be proud of.

Shine on you crazy diamonds. Maybe now I'll have time to write.

Y'know, I'm surprised that the Destiny series isn't more popular on tumblr.

Like, it's got some following on here, and I know it's a big, loud, fast paced gun game which I get isn't everyone's vibe, but even if you literally never play the game and only read the lore online, it still has:

A hell of a lot of representation - I'm talking gender identities, ethnicities, sexualities, this game is full of representation

Honestly just some really great storytelling - the lorebook A Man With No Name is a personal favourite of mine

Himbos (looking at you, Saint)

Sugar daddies (Calus and the Winnower)

Guy with a british accent for the people who used to be obsessed with sherlock

Uldren Sov, an absolute soft boi

Saint and Osiris, who are literally just an old gay married couple

Eris Morn, a great (in my opinion) representation of trauma and grief (the end of the Memory of Sai Mota quest where the spirits start to leave but she tells them to stay and says she needs them is a good representation of unhealthy and self destructive coping mechanisms)

A redeemed villain who is now a very good lad (Mithrax)

A cool witch queen and her trans brother

A wise cracking rogue

Ghost, who is basically just a puppy dog if he was a robot birthed by god who gives you superpowers

Devs who really seem to care about not only making a great game, but also seem like great people irl (Bungie CEO was gassed at a BLM protest a couple of months ago)

Does anyone else have that one friend whose sleep schedule is like an ever-evolving mystery? One day they’ll appear to be asleep for the entire 16 hours that you’re awake, but the next three they won’t appear to actually sleep at all. Sometimes they appear to be on Australian time, other times their schedule has adjusted to somewhere in the middle of the Pacific ocean. (I call this Cthulhu time.) You go a week without seeing them and you have no idea if they’re just really busy, dead, or if their sleep has simply synced up to the exact hours you’re awake and online. The only indication that they’re still in this mortal coil is vague posts about grocery shopping that pop up on their blogs at 4:12AM.
