Would Love To Hear About The Idea Of Kai Becoming One With The Sea

Okay so I have been reminded of something. So, There have been multiple times Kai's been referred to as selfish. While I do not know the context for all of these moments, I know there has not been a single moment in the show outside of the stuff with him wanting to be the green, ninja and S1 along with the stuff that regarding the element staff back in S4.

There have been multiple times to work Kai has died or has made it very clear that he would die to protect another member of the team.

Some examples of these:

Back in S4 literally in the first episode of the season Kai said something that roughly meant "I should have died instead of Zane". Whoever Lloyd cuts him off saying "First it was being the green ninja now this can't you think about someone other than yourself?"

Despite not knowing how to swim towards the end of S5, Kai was the only one out of the ninja that could/ would swim because they wouldn't or would be less likely to die from it who was willing and did jump into the water to save Lloyd from drowning, Cole didn't jump into the water because if he did he would have died so he wouldn't have been much help. Meanwhile, Jay and Zane were fighting Moro leaving the ghost and the guy who can't swim to save Lloyd

KAI PRETTY MUCH RAISED HIS SISTER EVER SINCE THEIR PARENTS WENT MISSING/ GOT KIDNAPPED BY THE TIME TWINS.

KAI HAS SAVED LLOYD'S LIFE LIKE THREE TIMES!

IN DR KAI DIED TO SAVE NYA, WYLDFYRE, AND THE REST OF THE TEAM THAT WERE THERE!

If I didn't know any of this and this would have gotten brought up to me, I would have been annoyed as heck because this is a man who is willing to die for his friends yet they call him and have labeled him selfish when he has directly said that he would have died instead of Zane (causing Nya to lose her brother and only family that she knew was alive), has risked his life like three times to save Lloyd, And pretty much raised his sister yet. He's called selfish. The only one who hasn't done this is Zane and the only other people who haven't are some of the newer characters introduced in Dr. Who don't exactly see him that way. Seriously if I had to say how some of the new characters see Kai, I would say:

Arin: He wouldn't call Kai selfish. If anything, he'd be the kind of person that would glare at the other ninja because of things like risking his life to save Lloyd on multiple occasions saying that he would have been willing to die in Zane's place and even raising his sister even though he was like at the youngest four when his parents went missing. If anything, Arin would look up to this guy because he's gone through hell and back but is still willing to do anything for his team and sister even if they think he's selfish but he's only technically been selfish twice

Sora: very similar thing to Kai, but because she wouldn't have pretty much any of the context of all of the stuff that happened without being told stories of it or directly seeing some of the records from the cloud Kingdom (which I doubt you'd even get access to, unless Euphrasia gave her the access because Euphrasia might but not likely). So pretty much Sora would be the same thing as Arin but because she would be straight with no biases towards him because she isn't even from Ninjago!

Wyldfyre: She would see Kai as well. A father figure. Sure, he may not be the best dad in the world, but hey he's trying and he's not a terrible dad again. He's not the best either but no one's perfect. To be honest, I feel like if she ever learned about pretty much every member of the team calling Kai selfish at least once she would just go ballistic because she doesn't see him as selfish. She sees him as someone who's willing to and has died to save her and other people's lives. Directly saying that he would have died in Zane's place. Sure that would have left Nya without her brother But the world would be safe, He's risked his life on at least three different occasions to save Lloyd, back in the fire temple because it was about to erupt because for some reason it was put in a volcano, And despite not knowing how to swim being the only one out of the two that weren't fighting Morro who could have actually gone into the water to save Lloyd and he did that despite not even knowing how to swim. Then of course there's the time he actually died saving Nya and the rest of the team. And well sure he died at that point. His sister didn't need him and Wyldfyre had heatwave plus the rest of the team to keep her safe. Let me tell you when you know your dad is willing to die for you. You know he's a good dad and you know he's an extremely good dad when he has died for you!

Euphrasia: It's likely she's seen the scroll that Kai's Destiny was written on. She knows he's not selfish and the only times he has been was because of my adulteration because of the staff and when he wanted to be the green ninja. Outside of that, he's wrist his life more times than she's willing to count and has been willing to die for the team pretty much ever since Lloyd became the green ninja. Yet they refer to him as selfish. She doesn't get it.

Seriously I want this to be brought up in the show and for someone to go ballistic on the rest of the team because this mine has been willing to die for them pretty much ever since Lloyd became the green ninja and they took him for granted, not realizing who they had with them. Someone who cared for them a lot and was willing to die for them, even willing to die in the place of another member of the team when he died that one time, And yet every time they've called him selfish, he's seemingly never cared, still caring for them and willing to die for them. You can call him selfish after he's died to save his sister the rest of his team and at that point pretty much adopted daughter. If anything, he was selfless down to his very damn soul. And if anyone tries to tell me anything else I will punch you!

The idea of Kai being female is so interesting ta me bc of the views people would have on her like the ANGST Kai tries telling someone bout Nya and her situation and gets shut down bc they think she's just whining bout her parents making her watch her younger sister with the words of yer a girl it's ya job ta care for the young it isn't until Maya and Ray never show up again that they start thinking something is wrong but never brother ta help them bc Kais a lady she can handle rasing her sister on her own AND KAI THINKS ITS OKAY 😭

Like yes what happens in the show is sad but we as a fandom can make is soooo much worse 😭

Pixel Nya and Lloyd sat together for some reason the gays as they lovely call them all wanted to propose to each other

And went to them for help it was both funny and horrible because they had to deal with the sad gays when they couldn't figure out a good plan

Even Zane! Pixel had almost lost it when Zane pouted being all dramatic Nya and Lloyd had to hold her in her seat

Somehow they all were able to propose to each other which you would think freed the three but no now they need help planning a wedding

Which was easier to do but they're watching the four fight over flowers okay well Cole Zane and Jay were Kai was just writing things down

"Who knew he would be the calm one" Pixel sipped her drink Nya laughed

"His always been calm when it really matters" Nya smiled softly and okay yeah Pixel's gay mhm

"I'm just glad they don't have their weapons" Lloyd does NOT need to see that his traumatized enough thanks

It had been a good day so far for the ninjas no fights no Wu coming out of nowhere to say "ninjas there's something I haven't told you"

And no extra trauma so yeah good day Nya went out with Lloyd for big sis lil bro bonding which left the others in the monastery alone

Jay had holed himself in his room which wasn't out of the ordinary what was is when they heard him crying Cole Zane and Kai looked at each other

Before coming to an agreement which was having Cole force open Jay's door the three sighed seeing Jay crying and listening to some movie

Jay looked at them before pointing at the TV and crying more Cole went over scooping him up and going to his bed cuddling with Jay on it

Kai turned off the TV while Zane curled up on Jay's over side once the TV was off he went over laying on top of Jay who sighed smiling

I just got lego city undercover and I already love Frank & Chase so much please tell me nothing happens ta them I'd lose it

Nya tilted her head looking down at Skylor sweat dripping off from both of them the two had bonded over their....issues

And trained together it was exciting for them both Skylor grinned panting which had Nya grinning back

"Guess you won this round huh?" Skylor was a little disappointed she didn't win but that's fine the veiw down here was nice

"Yeah" Nya leaned down so the two were face to face "I won"

Skylor blushed slightly having Nya so close and it made her heart go crazy Nya chuckled kissing her on the lips

Skylor kissed her back gripping Nya's hips at least no one was around for this or Skylor's pretty sure it wouldn't be happening

Nya pulled away licking her lips Skylor tasted like spice? She isn't sure how thats a thing but she likes it

Skylor moved a hand to grip the front of Nya's shirt pulling her back into a kiss the two fought for dominance

Neither were willing to let the let the other win this little fight Nya sneaked her hand under Skylor's shirt squeezing her boob

Skylor squeaked which allowed Nya to take charge of the kiss though she did pull back from the kiss

"Skylor are you okay with this?" Nya doesn't want to jump the gun without Skylor being completely okay with what was happening

"I wouldn't be doing it if I wasn't" Skylor rolled her eyes before whining when Nya pinched her nipple

"Ah ah no attitude here~" Nya might have let the feeling of winning go to her head "you lost again I won so I'm in charge"

"Alright" Skylor pushed down her nervousness this was Nya it'll be fine which made her less nervous having no control here

Nya nodded before she carefully removed their clothes taking time to explore Skylor's body listening to her moans and whines

Once the clothes were removed Nya looked over Skylor's body moving to rest in between her legs

Possessiveness that's a lil toxic?

Ever since Kai got Chen's staff he kept an eye on Shade keeping him close at first Shade hadn't minded it

But it got worse as time passed Kai had made it so that Shade was in Kai's room which Shade wouldn't have minded

If not for the fact that Kai slapped some cuffs onto Shade that made it so he couldn't use his element which Kai wouldn't have done in the right mind

But Kai never let the staff go so Shade couldn't get rid of it which really sucks he'd like Kai back to being his somewhat sane person

That's probably not happening for a bit and once it does Shade is demanding all the cuddles and kisses he can get from Kai

Of course only after yelling at him over his dumb plan that's going somewhat fine somehow and make sure Kai isn't hurt or anything from th staff

Feelings of failure

Jay sat on his bed curled up they had a fight with some serpentine today it went well until the serpentine blew some things up

Jay and the others ran around trying to save everyone and they did for the most part besides one person Jay hadn't gotten to them in time

The person had been a boy maybe a little younger than them which made it worse in Jay's mind because he should have been able to save him!

Jay was the fastest maybe not the strongest but he could've save the boy he failed in saving someone he felt numb the whole way back to the monastery

Before locking himself in the room curling up he still felt numb but the kind you want to cry but can't bring yourself to cry

Jay jumped when the door unlocked he curled up more as footsteps came over to him something was set down as someone made him uncurl from his ball

"Bluebell you need to eat" That was Cole Jay almost sobbed hearing that gentle and loving tone

"I can't" Jay sniffed rubbing his eyes "I failed I c-"

"Jay you did your best it wasn't your fault" Jay bit his lip seeing Kai's serious face eyes warm and gentle it was safe

"Kai is correct Jay it is not your fault" Zane sat next to Jay rubbing his back "we cannot save everyone it hurts but it is not your fault"

"I'm....okay I'll eat" Jay was thankful none of his boyfriends said anything about him crying just cuddled with him as he ate the food made for him

Jay feels horrible about not being able to save that boy but the others were right it wasn't his fault he did the best he could in that situation and it was a miracle only one person died

Zane glanced at Kai this whole day the other had been bratty from disrespecting Wu which Zane can let slide as they all do that but he was also doing things that he shouldn't be doing

Such as ignoring Zane teasing Jay more than normal and a few other things Zane will not be mentioning he grabbed Kai's hand dragging him off

"Let go!" Kai tried tugging his hand out of Zane's grip but wasn't able to do so

"Kai stop it" Zane knows Kai isn't uncomfortable if he was then he'd say so instead of whining a bit

Kai huffed tugging again which made Zane stop letting go of Kai's hand who made a confused sound and then yelped when Zane all but pinned him to the wall next to them

"Z-zane um we're not in our room" Kai wiggled a bit before yelping when Zane smacked him on the ass

"Quiet Kai you don't want anyone hearing do you?~" Zane nibbled at Kai's neck who whined okay so he pushed Zane's buttons too much

"Okay" Kai licked his lips yeah his ass is fucked and not in a very fun way more like in a start behaving kinda way "but how much?"

"I believe eleven more would suit your behavior today" Zane rubbed at Kai's ass who whimpered yup should've behaved today but no didn't do that
