it's just something about the way that both of the books were worded... ok i'm just gonna rant nonesensically for a while, hope yall dont mind

the first book (the one many of us believe to have been sent by Rose) is so much more reminiscent, nostalgic, even careful with the wording. it truly feels like someone wanting to reach out but knowing it's a hard time, but wanting to extend support anyways.

"it's not important who i am, but know that i am here for you" this are the words of someone who claims to know him. someone who recognizes traits on him like his unwavering spirit, his brave and bleeding heart, that it calls him a "child of the sky". this is someone who wants to help and support him, and seems to have phil filed as someone they care for, or at least respect him enough to hold a hand out in a time of need.

meanwhile the ender king's book is mocking, it's a threat, it's resentful. it calls him by name in a way that phil will NOT be able to deny that this is about him. this is someone who wants to be seen and recognized in their "offer", and will not take a no for answer

it talks about phil's state as if it was it's obvious conclusion. it has such a "of course you're suffering, just look at you", while also trying to imply that he's the only one with an answer... phil "fancied himself an explorer", he requires "redemption"... what for? what did q!phil do to the ender king for him to take this morsel of suffering phil is feeling and milking it until it's wrung dry? and he ends up not with support or a promise, but with a threat

i think most of the hc watcher community who also watches qsmp is pretty much aware that this seems to be some type of alternative universe? parallel version? of the worl that phil has been creating on his s4 hardcore world, and clearly q!phil is much more involved in whatever the deities of his realm had going on. to the point that one of them knows him by name, and phil is worried he might want to Take Him Aaway???

(my personal theory is currently that, considering that hc!phil, and probably q!phil too, is -as far as im aware- an elytran, and these are supposed to come FROM the end, aka the ender king's realm, he might be a survivor of the flood and destruction that the ender king caused. either that, or it's some weird sort of possesive "you're part of my realm and only i decide when you suffer" kinda deal. not sure yet.)

"long ago" vs "a lifetime ago", we know that Rose is supposed to be the oldest of the known deities, so this tracks. how long ago tho? when the king refers to a lifetime does he mean his? a regular human lifetime? phil's lifetime??? i mean the king talks in past TENSE philza "lived", so maybe!!

the descriptions of the wings are also both interesting in how it seems that even with how mocking or hateful the ender king is, he still says his wings are an "angel's" and we have the parallel of "wings that span across the heaven" and "wings, as vas as the endless void" and just. WHEW. this is just me praising the admins who wrote this cause that's WILD

anyways, the parallels basically end in that page, and even then, it's the difference in tone that i find insane. both of them mention phil exploring and descovering the unknown, though one seems to do it with appreciation, and the other annoyed that he had the gull to do it.

i just. i really want to know more about what is it about q!phil that makes this two INCREDIBLY POWERFUL beings see him in such personal light, you know????

Everyone was worried for Phil, he had dark bags under his eyes and scars that were too fresh to be from purgatory. Of course, the islanders had their rumors about why Phil was a wreck, he had a run-in with the federation, or the stress of single-handedly caring for two eggs was getting to him.

Phil only let the people he was closest to know why he was a mess, that meant Fit, Etoiles, and Missa. he did not want to worry others, they had bigger problems to worry about.

As the days dragged on, Phil’s hallucinations steadily increased in size, getting to the point where Phil would fall asleep on Quesadilla Island, and wake up in Endlantis. When this happened he shakily opened his communicator and call for Fit or Etoiles.

His hallucinations weren't all bad, sometimes he was in a large forest, feeling Rose’s influence all around him, or walking among quartz pillars in the nether, or by a beach, content to watch to ocean.

However, that didn't stop Phil from isolating himself from the others, making everyone worried.

After a full month of madness, Phil finally decided that he wouldn't hide anymore. He made his way to an abandoned field, waiting until the hallucinations started. It did not take long for the world to change, the ground condensing into endstone and the sky turning dark and cold.

“Ender king!” Phil screamed, “I've come to stop this torment!” He glanced around, waiting, no, praying for some sign of a response. The very air seemed to mock him, how naive he was to try and confront the Ender king!

Foolish crow... You dare challenge me on my own turf? You didn’t even bring anyone to help you, how do you expect to get away, let alone stop me?

Void tendrils seeped from the ground, pulling at Phil’s clothing, he pulled away from the tendrils and ran, this was a horrible idea! He pulled up the chat as he ran, clumsily typing for someone to help him.

Ph1lza: I need help

FitMC: where are you?

Etoiles: what happened??

Ph1lza: I cant type coords, find me on the map. Please come quick, its gotten out of hand.

Fit immediately jumped up, he knew what ‘it’ was, he quickly located Phil on the mini-map, he was over 500 blocks away from the closest warp, Fit cursed under his breath before warping. As soon as he got there, he checked what direction he was going before running. Minutes ticked by as Fit ran, he could see flashes of what looked like Etoiles, Bad, or Foolish. It hardly mattered as they all had the same goal, getting to Phil.

They wouldn't think anything of it, but when they ran, plants and trees moved to make a clear path, almost as if nature itself wanted to help Phil.

Phil’s legs burned as he pushed himself to his limit, he couldn't keep this up for long. He was so tired...

As Phil jumped to avoid another void spike as he dashed into an open field, he looked around for the best place to run to when suddenly he heard someone call out his name. There on the left was Fit! He dashed towards him, seeing others break the treeline. “FIT!” Phil screamed, feeling the void tendrils trying to trip or pull him.

“Phil! Grab my hand!” Fit shouted, holding his hand out. Phil lunged for Fits hand, he was so close! Just grab on and-

A void tendril grabbed Phil’s foot, the teleportation magic working immediately, Phio disappeared into a shimmer of ender particles, leaving only his hat behind.

Fit gasped, searching the area for where Phil could have gone. “Phil?!” Etoiles looked around frantically. “What on earth?! He just disappeared...” Bad muttered. Fit sighed, “I think I know what happened... Tell me, have you heard of the Ender king?”

Yk what I hate- just so much- is when I see ppl ANYWHERE making qPhils lore out to be not that bad- sure, he hasn't seen at many horrors as other ppl but that doesn't mean mans hasn't gone through some shit!! And he's still going through shit! Like wdym 'Phil wasn't that affected' did you not hear him during any of the lore?? Did you not hear how scared and upset he sounded??? Mans was HALLUCINATING and u think that mans wasn't affected

They were in museum and Phil said ,,remeber guys when you're in this walls there is no 4 wall it doesn't exist" ,,Tubbo just remind you we are out of character" It was him talking about knowing stuff from the museum but still, and then he started explaining to Tubbo etoiles lore, and he again repeated . ,,out of character out of character" And while explaining, Tubbo randomly disapeared and then Phil said to Sunny ,,your father left you your father left you"

The idea that he was out of character describing something but as soon as tubbo disapaer he started to be 100% in character again is questionable. Like he said numerous time that now he is talking out of character, and then tubbo disapaer. So i think a more logical conclusion is that he was still not in rp.

I think it wasn't qPhil being rude to a literal child, but more ccPhil fucking around, and not really being in rp.

I have mix feelings about Sunny's admin making it canon, becouse it probably wasn't lmao.

can i add something to the sunny and phil thing? because im a philza main and i love tallulah, but i also love sunny!

so i’m going to start with no neg to anyone and i don’t really “side” with anyone either. i watch both povs (but phil more than tubbo) and i like all the characters! i also think it’s important to mention that most of the drama is v obviously caused by admins, so characters!

From Phil, he doesn’t dislike Sunny. this is something i’ve seen a lot of people saying that phil dislikes sunny and he doesn’t?? like from everything i’ve seen he does like them, she’s just not his egg. phil constantly is teasing the eggs, and when he originally introduced sunny literally all he did know of them was that she liked money and stealing. that was literally their only interaction at the time. but take for example yesterday, at the parkour, he took the time to wait for her, he left his own kids with tubbo to quickly teach them how to use the grapple, and complimented her new outfit.

I think the idea comes from him letting Tallulah not interact with Sunny. (which she is starting to change). to that i say, he’s a father first. obviously he’s going to put his child’s needs before anyone else’s. and even he has been hoping tallulah will warm up to sunny. saying yesterday when they were talking that he knew lullah just needed time. HE WAS LITERALLY HOPING THEYD GET ALONG.

Now I should make clear, Sunny is completely valid in feeling how she feels. i just think it’s important to mention that just cause that’s how they feel doesn’t mean she’s accurately seeing the situation. no, tallulah hasn’t liked her and is acting more hostile than she’s ever acted before. but with phil? that’s a misunderstanding. phil doesn’t dislike them and even if he did, it wouldn’t be her fault. From what i’m seeing the problem is tubbo.

he’s not communicating sunny’s needs to phil like phil told him about how tallulah was uncomfortable with the new eggs. (which i don’t see anyone mention?? phil told tubbo that lullah wasn’t comfy with the new eggs) he hasn’t even confronted phil on how he didn’t like what phil said while introducing her. which i can get he might not want to talk about lullah’s actions, but phil’s own feel like something he could confront. of course, i’m not blaming him, just saying that the main “problem” point is the lack of communication. sunny doesn’t want to confront the death family, phil doesn’t know there’s a reason to discuss! (which i can say from personal experience sucks to know you were hurting someone and they just chose to hold it against you but not tell you.) so tubbo, who at least knows how sunny feels and believes phil doesn’t mean for it to come off that way, should be the middleman.

TLDR: Sunny and Phil have the big miscommunication, Phil doesn’t dislike Sunny he just doesn’t really know her, and ideally, Tubbo should intervene.

i know i didn’t mention lullah really, but like personally fair that she doesn’t trust the new eggs. and really i haven’t seen anything so neg about her other than people just straight up hating her for not getting along with sunny. which is it’s own situation. but that has nothing to do with the characters so it’s not my point. as i prioritize talking about the characters over the meta.

when i wrote all of those posts i need everyone to understand that literally all of that was directed at the tubbo watchers that were clearly just villanaizing a guy who literally just fucked a social interaction, and adding to it intention that is just Not There

is sunny warranted her discomfort about phil? for sure! man fucked that interaction in the museum if we are to take it as canon -and i have my own opinions about how it's being brought into canon, but i have my private server with a few friends to rant about that.

and i will also say, i finally watched tubbo's pov, because i like his streams and i like to Know What Im Talking About, and everyone is truly being hyperbolic saying "sunny is scared of phil, and he should be better". sunny said "his tone was scary". that's it. the tone he used was scary. they never said Philza himself is scary or that he's scared of him. it's WILD.

things that a lot of people insisting that q!phil is Just So Terrible are ignoring:

him always staying back to make sure to read her signs when they pace them near him, in case they are ment for him

him literally saying that they light up everyone's life and how they are so good, so OBVIOUSLY they will get candy in their boots and not coal

him instantly being worried yesterday when he was left alone with three kids because "nothing ever happens when he's alone with three eggs", and immediatly reassuring sunny to not worry about it, it's just some personal issues

genuinely cares to check if toby is doing ok with the quests for sunny, and has an extended offer to him that if he ever needs cookies to just message him and he will log in to give them to him

was super careful and encouraging during the entire parkour curse, and kept reasuring them that it WAS a difficult course, and that not everyone likes MC parkour

explained the grapple mechanics throughly to them to make sure that they knew how to go across the bigger parkour gaps

again, this is not to say the shit he has said is NOT hurting sunny, it for sure is. but it's all, again, a big fucking missunderstanding between the characters, and NOT phil being malicious about shit, or him "bullying a kid"hating tubbo and projecting onto sunny" or purposfuly bullying them like some people seem to be believing/spreading

and literally all of this would be fixed if, you know, the one person who has the information that sunny was hurt SAID SOMTHING TO PHIL. so yes. this is a big L to tubbo on the parenting points. when phil got told by his kid that she wasnt comfortable around the new eggs he immediatly gave her multiple outs from interacting with them AND when tubbo showed up the day after that, phil took him aside and EXPLAINED TO HIM "hey, tallulah might be a little distant because she's not trusting of the new eggs, so keep that in mind"

THAT'S what needs to happen here. my boy tobias needs to put on his big boy pants and talk to phil, and explain what's going on and actually do moves to attempt fixing it, instead of passibly hoping shit gets better, when it can all boil over into a worse situation.

and also everyone needs to stop hyperbolizing ONE sign that at best says that sunny was scared of the tone phil used ONCE in ONE conversation

on philza's stream, i'm picturing this scene as q!philza trying to cover himself with his wings next to the campfire and telling his kids what is going on his mind, crying without noticiting, chay and tallu hugging his waist.

i will attempt to explain endlantis and the ender king since it is CONFIRMED that this was the ender king

i havent watched hardcore in a while and even though i did some refreshers of it most of this is memory so anyone can correct it :]

starting off with the most important part, the ender king.

the ender king was an extremely powerful and insanely greedy king. he drove all ender dragons to extinction, with the final one being the great dragon whos skeleton lies in endlantis. and he could basically take parts of a realm and make them small, creating void. in his spare time he loved to steal parts of the overworld and the nether to make small and store in his trasure room. and he had a major goal of controlling all the realms, he was power hungry for stuff out of his reach. and how he planned to this was combining all 3 realms into one which he would control. when he tried to do this, the other 5 deities of the world stopped him, and caused his power to redirect into the ocean - causing endlantis. the end dimensions main island, flooded and buried by ocean. in shame of the failure, the end king retreated to his keep and (as far as we know) died.

endlantis itself, as i said before, is made up of a very eroded main end island. this erosion caused the appearance of purpur and amethyst(? icr) ruins. which would be why theres an abundance of purple in the qsmp lore !

Philza's mental health might be completely fucked but at least he's finally telling people and getting help?

we KNEW ender was powerful, hell this motherfucker wanted to merge all the realms into one AND ALMOST DID. but phil showing actual fear over ender and talking how powerful he is means he hasnt told us the extent of ender's powers

and you know what is fucked up? the correlation with the dark concrete. when ender stole bits and pieces from the overwolrd it left negative space from his powers, and phil represents that with black concrete (see floating islands in spawn islands)

the way phil fears ender is going to take him away its making me more insane, cuz ender is dead he is canonically dead, DEAD IN A FUCKING DITCH WITH HIS TREASURES, but for HIM to contact phil it means he is somehow still alive, and for some reason HE out of all people wants to help phil

This might be controversial but i am not found of the Phil and Sunny drama that has been happening

In like story kind of sense, like i know they can do whatever they want with their stories but as a viewer i am just not to found of it

Becous for example I adored the conflic between Tallulah and Sunny becouse it was so tragic and intresting, Tallulah not trusting Sunny after the nightmare of being separated from her family on a strange island, and Sunny who just wanted to be liked, not understanding why Tallulah dislikes her. It's an intresting conflic from both sides

But Phil's drama with her is just a bit stupid to me, it's literally miscomunication, like it's just that. The whole conflic would be almost completly solved if they just talked. Becouse Phil is just being Phil and being a bit dense, and Sunny is going though it, thinking she is judged and disliked.

And it's a bit uncomortable, becous Phil straight up doesn't know he makes her upset he is kind of just like that? And if they just told him he would stop, boom, no more conflict. Like the solution is so simple

And seeing a character I like by potrayed as some cruel asshole who likes to trauma dump on children just makes me feel weird.

Especially becouse Phil usually doesn't take his rp that seriously, only usually with the egg disapearence he has been more serious. Like he usually is just light on rp and more just jokes around.

Personally i am not too found of the direction Sunny's admin is taking this in, becouse that admin is so good, Sunny is a wonderful character and it's all thanks to very good rp and character making by the admin, but this conflic is just so one sided and easy to fix that watching it is just anoying honestly.

also phil just gave us a peek behind the curtain and said that he (cc) didn't know the admins were going to be making today about ender, so all of his reactions to ender were completely improv'd/off the cuff to establish qphil's history with ender

basically what im saying is that phil is clearly making a separation between hcphil (archologist-adjacent of season four world) and qphil (Clearly Knew the Ender King and is Afraid Of Him)... kind of like an au of sorts. everything is the same, but a little bit to the left.

really really fascinating stuff ahhh oh my godddd im so curious to see what his reaction to the other deities letters are going to be if/when they show up.

it's so refreshing to actually not have a character be instantly dismissed as crazy for once when they tell others they're seeing things. like even the first time around fit was immediately like "sure dude i believe you" and now he's like "there's no doubt you're seeing something, so we just gotta figure out why you're seeing it", and now also chayanne and tallulah believing phil as well, even though they're kids, and it's probably scary af to wake up to your dad freaking out big time, but still, one of the first things tallulah asks is if he thinks someone is trying to contact him.

like, in a world full of magic and different creatures and dimensions and all those other things, where everything is possible, it would definitely not be weird to "see things". so it never made sense to me when people said it was, especially after the whole eggs-communicating-through-black-matter thing, because come on bro... you've got literal superhuman beings here. category 10 supernatural events. a dude's got a couple of wings sticking out his back, for fuck's sake. anything is possible.

LONG-ISH POST ABOUT WHATS HAPPENED SO FAR IN PHILS STREAM- so here goes-

Phil was planning on exiling himself if he couldn't save the eggs- and he's hallucinating???? He found things in the aquarium regarding the Ender King(from his hardcore lore which got me SO excited) and he talked about how the Ender King would not be a good thing to have on the island-

Also- mans is traumatized- like if y'all out here making qPhils lore seem not that bad I got news for u bc it's actually affecting him- like did u hear how how scared he sounded? Did you hear and see how fucked up he was about the message? And the fact that only he could see it-

Dumbass, incredibly silly half 12 at night theory time which absolutely does not apply to hardcore only qsmp -

What if qPhilza is the (one of the?) unknown God-like entities? Presumably one of the youngest given Rose's book. Perhaps qPhilza wandered away to adventure, or perhaps when the Elder King tore reality apart qPhilza fell through the cracks, hence Philza's absolute terror of him. Perhaps the reason both he and Rose care about getting qPhilza back is because without them all present, reality starts crumbling even without the wars going on. He's some kind of sky god - perhaps the original died and qPhilza came into being to take his place - or assistant thereto.

Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

Okay but did anyone else click on how the Elder King specified that Philza's wings are angel wings? Are they not actually crow wings at all, is he not actually a hybrid, just that's how he's interpretted them with the island brain fuck effect? And/or local magic has twisted what he is? Layers of reality and all? Or just power suppressing keeping them looking more natural? Or even angel wings and hybrid wings look the same.

Of course it could be poetic, but the Ender King is much less of a poetic sort than Rose...

I genuinely believe that this whole discourse AMONG THE FANS about q!Sunny and q!Philza is just a simple case of bad miscommunication. Both in role-play and out of role-play. Something cc!Phil AND q!Philza alway establish is that the museum is an area that is outside of role-play. Sometimes he does bend that rule, however, majority of the time most conversations in there he doesn’t take seriously. However, the admin for q!Sunny chose to make that conversation about q!Tallulah cannon which there is absolutely nothing wrong in doing so. As a matter fact, I feel this is a very great story opportunity for an egg to have some slight tension towards another parent and am curious to see where this goes.

I can’t stress enough that what q!Sunny is feeling is absolutely valid for their character. Obviously an adult making light of very serious topics when their parent happens to leave is scary. It’s even more scary knowing that q!Sunny’s admin plays her as somewhat younger than the other eggs (at least that is what I have been learning). Of course she’s not gonna see q!Philza in a good light. And that’s fine.

The problem that many q!Philza viewers are getting annoyed by, including myself, is the constant mischaracterization and just plain villainizing of q!Philza by the fanbase .

No. He doesn’t dislike q!Sunny. He thinks she’s cool and often encourages q!Tallulah to get to know her!

No. He’s not resentful of her and taking his frustrations out on her. I genuinely don’t know how this idea came about.

It makes sense for q!Tubbo viewers to assume things about q!Philza based on just cc!Tubbo’s pov alone. They don’t know his character that well unless they watch him. It also makes sense that from q!Tubbo’s and q!Sunny’s pov, q!Philza is kinda rude and insensitive.

On that same thought, it makes sense for q!Philza to genuinely be unaware that his words and tone are scary/mean to both q!Tubbo and q!Sunny. He doesn’t know.

Two things can be true at once.

Just like people are allowed to dislike a character and their actions just as much as people are allowed to defend a character.

The whole thing about q!Philza’s tone is another can of worms entirely. Cc!Phil is quite literally a blunt, no bullshit type of guy. That’s literally how he is with EVERYONE, eggs included. But once again, q!Sunny is valid in feeling scared and a little put off by it.

This goes for both sides in saying that they just don’t know each other that well to read/understand each other. That’s why it’s so important that q!Sunny and/or q!Tubbo COMMUNICATE their feelings. Otherwise how is q!Philza supposed to know?

As a cc!Phil viewer, it really sucks seeing so many people paint q!Philza as this malicious figure that is INTENTIONALLY trying to bully an insecure child when that just isn’t the case. Could he have worded things better? Of course. Does that mean he was trying to make q!Sunny feel bad? No. Once again, it’s just bad miscommunication. Something that can easily be cleared up by both adults talking.

It’s also crazy to me that this got blown all out of proportion based on 1 damn sign talking about his tone.

Either way, you can like/dislike whoever you want. Just remember that it’s not always black and white.

During q!Phil and q!Fit's conversation yesterday I noticed a lot of similarities between their lore.

Both q!Fit and q!Phil are having dreams only they can see about someone very powerful contacting them.

On one hand you have q!Phil who knows the Ender King and what he is capable of. He is terrified of the possibility of him coming to the island or contacting him further because of what it could lead to.

He almost wishes the things he is experiencing aren't real because of this but feels like he's going crazy when he knows others can't see what he sees. q!Fit is the only one he has consistently told about his visions because he trusts him.

And on the other you have q!Fit who doesn't remember his contractor/entity's name but often refers to him as a "greater force" and is also very powerful. He has been sent to the island by him to gather info on a secret mission but is equally as worried as to what might happen if things go wrong.
