nay, encouraged to…
buy books you’ll never read
abandon books halfway through
read your favorites over and over again
read ‘easy’ books
read books you don’t totally understand
just look at the pictures
start in the middle
take notes
break spines
read the book after you saw the movie
skip the boring parts
keep books out of sentiment
bring a book everywhere
read comics
return books to the library unread
The point, my dear reader, is joy.
we give birds like geese and seagulls a lot of shit but if i had wings i honestly think i would also just be a real asshole about it. i'd dive bomb people and steal their fries and fly out of reach whenever anyone got sick of my shit. none of that noble graceful angel bullshit for me. you made a mistake giving me 2 new limbs, now i have 2 more ways to cause problems.
Here’s Cyprus’s model sheet! This will be used for animating sprites and cutscenes.
mob. - ED for MP100 Stage 3 (A Clash with Claw’s Seventh Division) (Kageyama Shigeo’s Character Song)
I’ve always had it That feeling - of not knowing the reason why I’m here - is too much to handle
I’ve always waited I’ve searched and searched for a place where I felt I could exist and I came here
I’m used to loneliness and giving up I’m coated in sadness and pain If I’m the only one who gets hurt that’s fine by me As long as I can protect what’s important to me
My name is Mob So leave me be
But suddenly you appeared before me Offering me your hand, you said “Tell me, you’ve been suffering, haven’t you?” Mob, oh
The world suddenly brightened up that day And you were there by my side, breathing with me
For the first time I was able to truly cry
I finally understand How to use these powers
Mob, Mob, woah oh Mob, Mob, woah oh
I’m used to being alone, to silence I have no interest in joy or pleasure If I’m the only one who disappears that’s fine by me Since nobody will notice anyway
My name is Mob So don’t come near me
But suddenly you appeared before me You pointed at me of your own free will and said “Tell me, you’re strong, aren’t you?” Mob, oh

to relax after a long study session or before bed time: fruit tea, chamomile tea. Get yourself some honey if you like.
when you want to feel healthy: Any kind of herbal tea, matcha, nettle tea, green tea.
to get a boost of energy: green tea, black tea, white tea or any other variation that contains caffeine. Make sure you make them right or they´ll get bitter.
on a cold winter day: Chai, ginger tea, rooibos tea. Use spices, especially cinnamon.
during summer: barley tea, iced fruit tea, hibiscus tea. Don´t worry about hot tea in summer, it´s actually even better for your body than drinking ice cold drinks.
Get yourself the most visually pleasing cup you can find and go for it. If you like you can sweeten your tea with sugar or honey or add some milk. For green tea never use boiling water (60-80 degree celsius should be fine) and take the teabag out after two or three minutes maximum or it´ll end up being bitter. Figure out what you like best and what works best for your kind of green tea. The quality affects if it gets bitter easily or not.
Before the computing era, ILM was the master of oil matte painting, making audiences believe that some of the sets in the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogy were real when they weren’t. They were the work of geniuses like Chris Evans, Michael Pangrazio, Frank Ordaz, Harrison Ellenshaw and Ralph McQuarrie ! Forever thank you, to their handmade art and the work of their colleagues, that made us dream of impossible worlds and fantastic places across Earth and the Universe.
Okay so when I got sucked into the phantom zone last week while watching youtube shorts a lot of the content it fed me was ADHD tips and a lot of it was either useless for me or redundant but there was one REALLY good tip about taking breaks that wasn't about taking breaks it was about RETURNING from breaks and the tip is: when you are about to go on a break, before you step away from your task (work, craft project, school stuff) decide what you'll do as the first thing when you sit back down at your task and set up your workspace to do that thing.
That means you've got an easy re-entry point to go back to doing the thing instead of sitting back down and having to make a decision or having to reorient from break mode to task mode. You have pre-reoriented and can just go back into working mode.
I've been doing this by circling what my next task on my tasklist is and bringing up the windows that I'll need for the task before I step away from my desk.
Brilliant hack, works great for me, hope it works great for you as well.
I'm trying to prove something.

There are so many things I’ve wanted to know regarding just how different (or not different) aspecs and allos are from each other, and I know I can’t be the only one wondering such things. So I made a survey open for everyone to take! Whether you’re acespec, arospec, or allo. I need responses from ALL in order for the results to be any good. Anyone can take this, and even if you don’t, reblogging or boosting this survey is much appreciated!
(I’ll probably post results once I get a satisfactory amount of responses. I feel like some of this could end up being valuable to aspec communities!)
