burt hummel is sooo. unproblematic i cant think of a single bad thing that man has ever done.

kurt is bummed out about not getting a solo because its sung by a woman traditionally? he chews the school out and threatens legal actions if kurt cant audition for it fairly.

finn says anti gay slurs to kurt? burt tells him to get the fuck out of his house

blaine talks to him about that he is afraid kurt will never get a proper sex ed? burt hummel goes to the nearest clinic to pick up pamphlets and give kurt a heart to heart. and treats him as his kid he loves while doing so. i love the “i think its a great birthday gift to yourselfwhen you get 30” line. its his kid. of course he doesnt want to think of him having sex LOL.

kurt gets a little TOO manipulative and shitty? burt calls him out on it and never enables kurts destructive tendencies.

also the fact that this man goes to become a congressman to make change so kurt can marry legally. i dont know i just fucking love burt hummel. “overappreciated”? fuck you he has every right to be named the best glee character and possibly best tv dad of all time.

You deserve the strongest of loves, the most uncontrollable laughter, and a genuine, forever lasting happiness. Please don’t ever forget that.

Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing ok. Just wanted to check on everyone since we got the sad news about Chuck yesterday. I had a very emotional reaction to it.. literally had to stop reading several times and then had a meltdown after making the post here and felt tired and drained the rest of the day, still kind of in that headspace today… so yeah I just wanted to share some links to places I found in case anyone needs them for themselves or a friend who might need them. I also want to add that If you don’t see info for a place near you I encourage you to search, if you took the time to search here that means you are willing and strong enough to look for support and I totally urge you to find it. We all need help and there’s no shame in looking for it outside your close circle. Embrace who you are and remember your mental health does not define you- it’s just a part of what makes you, you. I love y’all, you matter.
