ToDo *Dec 15, 2024
I have some stuff I've been putting off, so I figured I'd make a todo list and be productive today. Some of it is little mundane tasks, some of it are larger things I've been procrastinating.
wash makeup brushes + sponges
research summer internship opportunities
put away laundry
plan language studies for this week (when, where, and what)
clean out backpack + old stuff from this last semester
make list of calls to make + emails to send tomorrow
do a digital declutter on iPad + chromebook
rewrite my personal budget for when I return to work
work in journal/workbook for 2025
read at least 2 chapters of a book
maybe practice crochet
hopefully I do at least half this list today, I'm feeling a little tired so we shall see. Will update tonight and restart my daily check ins as well!
til later lovelies 🩷
Daily Check-in - August 7th, 2023 🎀
So, it's been an emotional last two weeks. Mental illness is never a fun thing. I slipped off from taking my meds and as a result became inconsistent with my goals and daily routines. I felt powerless to myself. I stayed in bed as much as possible, cried constantly, and had no energy for even the simplest of tasks.
But, I'm feeling better, and I even accomplished some of my goals/daily habits today! I managed to begin taking my meds again, and am still in contact with my therapist. I'm bound to have rough days, rough weeks, and even rough months. I just remind myself that it's okay to feel these rough moments for what they are, but to not let it make me spiral or keep me held down. I believe in my ability to care for myself, and listen to my current needs when I am in a depressive state as I have been. There's nothing wrong with low energy days. There's nothing wrong with needing a break. There's nothing wrong with taking care of yourself. 🩷
🩷 What I Ate Today:
Breakfast - Was not feeling it today but needed to eat for my medication, so I had three hashbrown patties with some ketchup. And, of course, a cup of coffee.
Lunch - A delicious turkey and cheddar lunchable with one serving of lightly salted cashews. The lighter the lunch, the less tired I am when I get off my lunch break.
Dinner - I ordered some domino's pizza and cheesy bread because I was craving it, only ate 2 slices of both but it was sooo good and now I have leftovers!
Snacks - One cup of coffee after I got off work and a few bites of Ben and Jerry's Half Baked ice cream, which is currently my favorite ice cream.
Water ~ not enough, I made the mistake of forgetting a reusable water bottle when I went to work, so I didn't really start drinking water until like, 10am.
It's not my cleanest, healthiest, or best eating day, but I'm happy that I listened to what I wanted. Not every day will be like this, and that's okay. Moderation and balance are key <3
🩷 Workouts - Pilate Abs
Again, I love this one to start of my ab day! arts easy enough for my little plus sized self to accomplish and makes me feel proud for even attempting thus video and completing a workout!
I also love this one by Madeleine as well, her workout videos honestly just click with me and I am here for it! This one wasn't completed fully as I have a bit of trouble completing plank exercises, but as I continue to build strength and better my form, I know I'll get to a point where they will become easier
🩷 Habits I Accomplished Today -
Made my bed
Morning workout
Morning and Night Skincare
Morning guided journal
For my first day back on routine I'd say this is a win! Being able to complete any of my goals and habits for the day is definitely a good thing, and I'm proud of myself for accomplishing what I have today.
🩷 Song of the Day: Cake - ITZY
SHAKE IT SHAKE SHAKE IT SHAKE BUSS IT UP BUSS IT UP
My girl Yuna did so good in this song, and all of their outfits are cute and the energy is there and they all look so happy and this song makes me want to get up and dance. I may or may not be trying to learn Yuna's lil dance part....it's so satisfying to watch!!
That's all for today! Pretty proud of the way things have gone, and hopeful that tomorrow will also be a nice day for me. It feels good to be posting again!! I missed this <3
Til tomorrow, lovelies!!
Daily Check-in: May 13, 2024 🎀
Monday was officially the first day of my summer and it was a good day despite how emotional I was (thank you birth control shot). I got a good amount of stuff done and I just overall feel really good about Monday.

Daily Check-in Septmeber 14th, 2023 🎀
This was a good day. Busy, absolutely, but good nonetheless. Had a meeting with my 1st dietetics mentor, and she was absolutely the sweetest and sent me an email after our meeting about the projects she wants me to work on currently, as her mentee. Cannot wait to meet my 2nd mentor next week! Also, I got asked to go into work, so I pulled a 6.5-hour shift when I didn't need to, but I need money so it's worth it.
🩷 What I Ate Today -
Breakfast - tuna w mayo and crackers
Lunch - iced coffee, chicken parm, noodles, one garlic bread, some asparagus
Dinner - chik fil a sandwich, medium fries, polynesian sauce
Extra - 3 more coffees in addition to the one I had at lunch
I am overconsuming caffiene so much right now, but I have been understandably so tired, so it's definitely helping me get through my days and weeks right now. I also genuinely enjoy the taste of the coffee I make, so that's always fun. I did just but a matcha set online, so hopefully, I can learn to make my own matcha and cut back on coffee for a bit.
🩷 Personal Achievements -
Attended RD meeting
Had my therapy appointment
Planned out part of my upcoming week/weekend
Studied Japanese for ~15 min
I did not accomplish almost anything school related, but that's okay because I'll have the time to do it all this weekend after work both days.
🩷 Todo for Today -
take Fitness For Health and Sport lecture notes
call embroidery place about dropping off my cooking class's chef coat
Video call with my boyfriend
Complete my Sample nutrition log assignment + submit it (if I have the time)
Study Japanese 10+ minutes
Because of how busy my schedule has been, I've been studying Japanese daily about 10 to 15 minutes a day. I'm starting to remember the hiragana characters pretty well so I've started jotting down vocabulary in a mini notebook.
🩷 Song of the Day - Social Path by Stray Kids, LiSa
This song is on repeat right now. I've always loved both their music and now that they've collabed, I'm on cloud 9. They're voices all sound so good in this song.
That's all for now! Will not be updating the 15th due to working the night shift at my job but will update for the 15th and 16th on Saturday night!
Til next time, lovelies 🩷

what are some journal affirmations you recommend/receive?
Sorry for the late reply!
When it comes to affirmations, I like to search through tumblr for affirmations that match my feelings or desires, and I will write them on post-it notes and keel them within sight. I change them up depending on mood and current desires, but they always help me with my mindset!
But yeah, searching through tumlr blogs that post affirmations that match my needs is what I suggest, as it's what's worked best for me! <3
Daily Check-in: April 5, 2024 🎀
Friday was a decently good day! I managed to get some stuff done despite extremely fatigue (thank you womanhood), a 6.5 hour class, and crying my eyes out on zoom with my boyfriend (again, thank you womanhood). I hate having a functional female body, but I love being a woman? ughh, the confliction

🩷 What Could've Been Better:
my friend and I accidently swapped chem lab notebooks on Thursday so I wasn't able to do my report with the extension
got told I was talking to loud during my restaurant class :(
found that I'm working with a girl I'm not too fond of (due to her controlling and "authoritative" tendencies) for my restaurant class
cried on zoom with my boyfriend because this time of year is hard for me
lots of back pain and low stomach cramping
drank a soda after having a coffee and had waayyy too much energy

find out how many hours I've worked to guesstimate my pay for this upcoming paycheck

need to rewrite my budget to hopefully fit monthly payments for a Mac into my budget

can anyone recommend a good textbook for learning Spanish? I really like studying using textbooks and I have two from when I took Spanish classes but they are the most unhelpful textbooks ever and I absolutely despise using them unless I have no other choice.
preferably I’d like a textbook that focuses on grammar as vocabulary is pretty easy for me to pick up given how widely Spanish is spoken in my city.
I’m also open to any music, song, movie, book, tv show, and any other spanish language learning material! I want to be able to speak spanish with some of the people I work with and I think it’s a great and beautiful language for me to learn overall, and definitely will be the most helpful!
*I am still going to self study Japanese during my six week break from classes, but I am going to try to divide my time between spanish and Japanese with a stronger focus on spanish! May even start a six week language challenge during my break to keep me motivated and accountable!
so if you guys have any recommendations for someone learning spanish (and even Japanese) , please comment/reblog this!
thanks in advance <3
I'm back? - An Update
Hey lovelies. It's been a while. Lots has happened in my life, and I don't know how consistent I'll be with posting but I figured it would be a good way to kind of motivate myself to get back to some of my habits and working towards some of my goals. I've been slowly trying to better myself, my life, my academics, all that good stuff, and maybe coming back here and posting will help me stay accountable? Who knows, but it's worth a shot.
💌 Todo List for Today (March 26, 2025)
take chapter 8 notes for health psychology
take chapter 9 notes for exercise physiology
read 1 chapter of Attached ✅️ (I read 3)
survive my night shift at work (2pm to 9pm)
night time skincare
Not an extensive list, as I've already crossed off some other items on my to-do list that I don't think need to be added because they're already done for the day. I'm feeling incredibly anxious right now, and I have no clue why, but hopefully taking my medication and maybe some meditation will help my anxiety lessen a little bit.
My todo list for tomorrow is TBD.
Til next time, lovelies 🩷
Your version of top ten kpop song this year ?
It's such a hard question to answer, but here's my version!! (not necessarily in order, but these are my favorites, and yes, I doubled most cause there's so many good ones)
Queencard by (G)-Idle (this is actually my number one of all year, a repeat, a favorite, the best)
I AM/Baddie by IVE (I don't remember if I AM came out this year but ughhh soo good, and Baddie is in so many of my playlists right now)
OMG/Ditto by New Jeans (both were on repeat this year)
Bet On Me/Cake/Kill Shot by Itzy (both are so good, i wanna go on a run while listening to Bet On Me, its so motivating. The whole album was phenomenal)
ETA/Super Shy by New Jeans (again, both so good)
Unforgiven/ Perfect Night by Le Sserafim (I actually prefer the Japanese version of unforgiven cause of ADO and how good it sounds in japanese)
I Love My Body by Hwasa (such a girly bop about self love, heck yes)
Drama/Spicy by Aespa (Drama has me in a chokehold right now, and Spicy makes me feel like a bad b)
Bite Me by Enhyphen/LA LA LA or S-Class by Stray Kids (I am such a Stray kids stan now, this year was chefs kiss for their music, and Enhypens Bite Me was like, etheral)
Set Me Free/Moonlight Sunrise by Twice (I am such a Twice stan too, they are so close to being no skip discography for me)
Honorable mentions -
Rover by Kai
Young, Dumb, Stupid/Love Me Like This by NMIXX (I learned part of the dance for these two, so addictive)
Set me Free pt 2 by Jimin (finally freeeEEEeee)
Antifragile/Fearless 2023 version by Le Sserafim (antitititititititi fragileeeee)
Memories by Riize (so good sooo goood)
Off The Record by IVE (ughhh I fell in love after the first listen
don't know if these are kpop technically but Social Path by Stray Kids and Do Not Touch by Misamo were absolutely amazing and I played them on repeat together for so long)
Agassy by Soojin (*Mariah Carey voice "She's baaaaacccckkkk")
3D/Seven by Jungkook (he killed his solo songs)
Haegum by Agust D (too good to describe)
Hold On Tight by Aespa (catchyyyyy)
okay, I'm done but yes I love kpop and I am a multistan and I love this music genre so much
