Another Minecraft OC, Piper! Uses she/her pronouns mainly, for now at least. If i work on her again on the future i'll probably find some neos to add She lives in a world covered in skulk, where ironically an ancient city has become one of the only safe places to live. So she makes a new home underground with a community of other survivors, trying to make the best of things and rebuild after having lost so much. I was going for a hopeful post-apocalyptic vibe :D Piper is really caring a mostly upbeat, but she's the kind of person who focuses on other people's needs above her own to the point of self destruction. I think at some point she got so busy clearing skulk out of the city without much rest that she got infected, which she then had to rest a lot to recover from She's close to another of my OCs, Dianthus (who i don't think i've posted here before). But they live in different dimensions so they can't see each other very often :(

I've gotten very fixated on plants recently and have been trying to learn more about the native plants in my area, as well as getting better at botanical drawing. So here's a couple studies I did on a penstemon flower! penstemon serrulatus i think, to be specific. also known as Coast Penstemon, or Cascade Penstemon.

I think these might be my new favorite flower tbh, I really want to try growing some!

Sun and Moon Girlfriends!!

I remember when i started drawing this, it was going to be a ship i liked, but it ended up being original character designs instead. I had a lot of fun with the watercolors :D

Going forward I might not be going to be following any themes after all, since ive realized that making these posts can take more time and energy than i have left after school and im probably not going to be able to be the most consistent at it. although making a queue would help a lot with that, so i'm probably going to try to get around to making one over the weekend!

(idk I might change my mind again and do a theme for a later week? I'm not quite sure yet)

I'd learned how to do ink washes and collaging for my art class, so I used those skills to make this sketchbook cover! I really really love how it turned out ^^ I meant to add more little smoke wisp things but never got around to it. Most of my sketchbook covers end up left somewhat unfinished

There's some easter eggs in this piece that represent stuff i drew in this sketchbook! i'm not going to explain them though :3
