Guys..... Please listen to Roy Kaplan. This show has so much love and effort poured into it over a long (& very worth the length) production time, AND EVERY EPISODE HAS ITS OWN ILLUSTRATION!!??? I MEAN COME ON!!!!!! IM GRINNING LIKE A MANIAC!!!!!!! If I was a billionaire I would reward that with one ZILLION dollars (I stole an additional trillion to get to a zillion, from my billion. We all know rich people steal). You know how much I love illustration (if u know me... or I suppose that's fairly obvious, but I digress) Anyways the performances are so fun & the story is fantastic, and the creator/production is so so very kind, pls give this audio drama the love it so very much deserves – there isn't much to get thru listening-wise, and u will not be disappointed. Again thank u for letting me be a part of this in general, I AM SO HONORED. I'm shaking around little pompoms for ROY KAPLAN!!!!

People being sweet about how I dress (clown fashion) within the last 24 hours

"Love your getup. Keep doin whatcha doin" (grocery shopper who discussed ice cream flavors with me)

"No!!! You are so exciting!!!!! You want to be a clown!!!" (coffee house barista after I said my coffee orders are boring LOL)

"I love your energy :^]" (dude who greets people in the office building I have pt in)

"Your clownin out!!!" (my pt therapists who also offered me a reese's peanut butter cup)

"Rainbow!!! I couldn't forget about you, rainbow!! How've you been??" (big lots cashier who I talk with every time I go in)

And I got a hug from a grocery store employee woman (who was abt to leave her shift) & because I said I liked the puffy stickers on her hat. I FUCKING LOVE STICKERS

I just wanted to highlight people being sweet because a lot of the time, alt fashion brings a lot of mean-ness/skepticism out of strangers (in my personal experience); not that I necessarily care (because 100 YEARS FROM NOW 99.99% of us will be gone. THE ULTIMATE PRANK) But it does make it hard/worrying to be self-expressive sometimes. So the little things go a long way. The moral of this post is: the right people will find and be kind to you. Dress the way u want (before the funeral dresses you for you). And also take the free peanut butter cup from your pt therapists (don't forget to bring it home like I did).

(screaming like a little newsboy on a bicycle while tossing links to 'Roy Kaplan: Out of Sight' onto ur front doorstep) I did VA work for this podcast a long while ago – and I am doing a HUUUGE happy hop because I AM SO THRILLED IT'S FINALLY COMING OUT. I am so happy. I am so so happy. It's been so long (since at last Ive seen my Roy Kaplan). I get to voice a nonbinary tailor (no spoilers)... but you can hear them in the trailer. Roy Kaplan is here!

Yes, you heard me right, Roy Kaplan: Out of Sight is finally ready for launch, complete with a proper (and actually correct) release date: December 28, 2024. I did say that I was going to get this ready for launch by the end of the year!

If you don't know what Roy Kaplan (or Roy Kaplan, Private Investigator if you prefer) is, it's a paranormal cyberpunk detective audio drama taking place in a (very low-key) post-apocalyptic future. It features the titular Roy Kaplan--private investigator, ex-burglar, and psychic--as he puts his wits to the test to solve all kinds of cases with the occasional assist from his ghost roommate, Wes. Stylistically, it draws significant inspiration from old time radio shows such as Richard Diamond and hardboiled detective fiction of the 1930s-50s.

This first season, Out of Sight, consists of twelve all-original mysteries, each 30-40 minutes long. It will be releasing on Saturdays every two weeks, with Patreon supporters able to hear episodes a week early.

Roy Kaplan is hosted on Pinecast, which means you should be able to listen to it on any podcast aggregator that supports RSS feeds. It'll also be available on common podcast apps like Spotify and Amazon Podcasts (right now Apple Music is having some hiccups, so we'll see what happens with that). It's also available on YouTube, if you like getting your podcasts through there.

you would almost think that israel has stopped killing palestinians but in the past twenty-four hours i have seen some of the most gruesome images of dead and beheaded human beings in my life, once again, in july of 2024.

israel is banking on nine months of genocide pacifying global outrage, the slow and steady extermination becoming more palatable. however, nine months in this also incriminates them absolutely.

to be committing such heinous crimes nine months in, with a genocide trial, ICC warrants pending, the eyes of the world on them shows that israel is not a state with any system of accountability, nor are its citizens or its supporters capable of mounting a real opposition to its genocidal mandate of palestinians. nine months of unstoppable and unceasing war crimes, and nine months of israel apologists refusing to give an inch as they continue to take lives. nine months of proving that they were never trying to end hamas, nor were they ever capable of it, but they seek nothing except the annihilation of palestinians and the annexation of their lands. nine months of settler colonialism in action.

nine months of palestinians being proven, beyond a doubt, completely right in their assessment of israel. a state that is beyond redemption, a state that is not a partner for peace, a state that has never stopped reproducing the violence of its foundation since the day it was founded.
