at the start i imagine she’d be very similar to gideon, as in - suspiciously cute, insolent, and very much obsessed with getting the deed to the mystery shack. post-redemption / post-canon, i think she’d be good friends with the others (hence me drawing her hanging out with stan, for example)

in my head she’s a huge biology nerd. i think i like the idea that both her and fiddleford are really into learning and understanding the innards of something, but while his interest lies in the mechanical, her’s is in the organic

fiddleford hangs out a lot with old man gleeful (? working name maybe) and hes learned plenty from him in terms of machinery, as well as helped him design and build some of it. in the end, though, i think gideon would be the one to work for emma-may, because at that point in the story - no matter how tempting it might have been to build a very cool, giant robot - i dont think fidds wouldve wanted much to do with her

i do actually prefer the idea of emma-may going after fidds rather than stan, but i dont know if i can make it make sense. will need to switch up a lot of events to make it work

what’s his biggest insecurity?

wilson is ashamed to even want sex alfjalkg. yes, he's definitely ashamed of the way he acts and the sounds he makes and especially the things he's into. he feels ashamed when he gets too into it bc he feels like he's focusing too much on his own pleasure and not enough on hers. When he moans or says smth dirty, there's worry and shame that she doesn't like it. And his kinks... yeah I can't even imagine wilson actually coming out and being honest about his kinks to any woman unless it's coaxed out of him, unless she brings it up first.

Amber would be the first woman to change that for him. She really set the ground work for him to start opening up and discovering what he wants and what he likes. And of course if him and house were together, he would finally feel like he can be shameless for the first time. Truly shameless because House knows no such thing as shame and wouldn't be satisfied until he explored all of wilson's dirty little secrets and curiosities.

I feel like it's hard to pin point one specific insecurity for him bc I feel like he is ultimately insecure about who he is as a person. He doesn't even know who he is. Even when he spends an entire day pretending to be the person he wishes he was, it's not him. He is made up of so much want and desire but he's so far removed from them that even the things he desires do not represent who he is !! It's so tragic. He wants the waterbed, but he's not the guy who has a waterbed, he hates it as soon as he has it. He wants the pretty wife and cheats on her every time he has her. He wants to be the cool guy who drives the cool car and he crashes it. He wants to be the guy who has threesomes but it was confusing and unsatisfying. He wants to be the guy who picks out cool furniture and fills his life with things that have meaning but hires the decorator anyways because he simply does not know who he is beyond someone who loves greg house. That seems to be the only factor about him that he can define and that in itself is his biggest insecurity, the pattern we see the most in the show. Wilson is defined by house and he often tries to push back against it. But house is every bit as much defined by him and in the end the come to accept that rather than being insecure about it. They are each other's security while being each other's insecurity.
