Fun fact: When I was little, I had this pair of baby pink corduroy pants that I absolutely loved. Well, one day my mom and I went shopping, and as we were leaving....the security sensors started. I was absolutely terrified and was sure I’d accidentally stolen something, so when an employee came to check us, I was already frantically patting my pockets looking for whatever it was I somehow stole without realizing it.

Well. Turns out, those pants were from Old Navy, and back then, Old Navy clothes had a reputation of setting off store sensors.

To this day, I still don’t shop at Old Navy anymore, much to my mom’s exasperation.

Just so we’re all clear on where I stand: Black lives matter, trans women are women, trans men are men, nonbinary people are beautiful, asexual/aromantic folks have a place in the LGBTQ community, Queer is not a dirty word, and being “anti fascist” is a moral position, not a political one.
