I have a dragon inside of me who is very concerned for the cracking I can hear from my jaw almost constantly while I talk.

That dragons voice is almost completely spoken over by the three gremlins and a duck in a trenchcoat that think my jaw cracking to the beat of whatever song I'm singing is utterly hilarious.

wtf is with all the "oppressive and hellish planet called Earth." Bullshit? The only reason it's "oppressive" and "hellish" is because of other human beings who are destroying it. This earth is magical and beautiful and I hate every single prompt or show or anything that says otherwise if not simply for the fact that humans are making it that way!

We need to save the planet not flee it! And if you think otherwise, even as a joke or for a fun story idea, than you're part of the problem, and that is exactly what I would tell those aliens.

I feel like I'm overreacting and maybe too tired to filter my rage isn't the best place to have this rant, it's kinda been a buildup of multiple things boiling over rn.

I have an idea for a genre of game.

idk what medium the games would be in, I guess whatever supports it, but anyways.

So you have a few different povs, and a few different characters that the pov isn't in. Kinda like those games where during the different chapters you play as different characters, but with a twist: You don't control the character, the character in the chapter has near full control over their own actions, you just talk to them and guide them. My thoughts on how this would work would be like; you see a room full of different objects, character goes to walk past one that catches your eye, you go "oh, wait, what was that? Go look, on the table there!" And the character (depending on their personality) will either go look for what you're trying to find, or will ignore you.

You playing the game would only have proper control during "possessions": Short periods of time in which one or more players can take over the character's body and steer them in the right direction or walk them through pain that would have otherwise debilitated them or even to do one of those quick time events in a combat situation. Of course possessing a character has consequences on mental and physical health and how they're viewed by others, but sometimes that's necessary.

Also, the characters you're able to guide/possess would be the only ones able to hear you, either that or the characters are only able to hear you when it's their turn to be guided.

It could also be done so that one person is in control of one character and other people are guiding that player, to add to the fun and maybe make it easier to make as a video game.

I have no idea if this concept already exists, but I think it would be cool!

I wanted to go into this episode completely blind as to have the full experience of sobbing over the end of this show, and I just learned that Luz apparently [spoiler] and [spoiler] [spoiler], something I should have only found out from the episode itself.

And if you think that just hiding the spoilers under a cut does anything, then you are mistaken. For anyone like me who clicks without thought because button, it's way easier to decide not to when I know that there's something I don't want to see under the cut.

The five types of protagonist as I see them:

hero; the morally sound, loyal, good hearted characters who are normally cinnamon rolls or sunshine children. Normally depicted in media as the goodest of good golden retriever wonderful human being, or sass machine that survives off of spite but is genuinely kind anyways even if they have a rough exterior. Yes, there is an in between.

anti-hero: A person with good intentions/goals/ideals who goes about defending justice in a way that is not socially acceptable. AKA the person who goes "murder is okay with probable cause" or responds to someone kicking puppies by chopping off the leg the person used to kick those puppies. There is a vast set of characterizations for these guys.

Villain: The bastard. Their self awareness is either akin to that of a sponge, or they are extremely self aware and don't really give a shit. They have bad morals, horrid ideals, and achieve their goals commonly through murder. The "I'm doing this for the betterment of humanity!" (they're ending the world because they had a bad childhood) or "I know exactly what I'm doing is wrong and by God I am going to do it in the most fashionably melodramatic way possible."

Anti-villain: Bad ideals, bad morals, hurts/gaslights people often, but does it in a way that actually paints them in a heroic light. These are the people whom you either don't know they're evil until it's too late, or whom can convince you of absolutely anything even if you know the opposite to be true.
