According to Fawcette, the main streamer of the event, the amount of Joshes who turned up is about 75-100 Joshes. Any streams are really laggy, but for those who couldn’t tune in here are some pics:
These were taken from a laggy stream, but as you can see the turnout is massive. The crowd is estimated to be at least 200 people.
The latest winner from the series of Josh fights is “Tiny Josh”, a four year old child who was inducted into the battle. As of right now, the bearer for the title of “The One True Josh” is the original Josh Swain.
Updates will continue if the stream stops lagging.
I have no clue what I’m doing, but I got dragged here via friendship, so I might as well roll with it.
ME!
I go by Ginger. Pronouns are They/Them. I’ve been on tumblr for a little while, so this is my poor attempt at finally interacting.
I really like high fantasy and sci-fi stuff. Horrors in any setting is great. I’m also a big fan of thrillers. Subsequently, my main Wips are all horror, triller, fantasy, or a combination of such. Go thunk it.
Other interests include: art, music, comics, video games, and reading. I might post art or a comics relating to what I write. We’ll see how it goes.
WIPs
Nom de Guerre
Tis a bunch of smaller story hiding as one big story in a trench coat. The overarching plot is that a group of revolutionaries abandon their old lives, pick a new name, and work together to overthrow a corrupt king + government. The smaller stories go into more detail about different groups of revolutionaries, as each plot follows another step in overthrowing the government. Even if they could just kill the king, it not that simple.
*In 1950 announcer voice* Nom de Guerre is brought to you by: Shady churches, Hugo the Bear, a horse thief, a couple of wizards, a tired dad, an ex-knight, too many main characters, background knight trench warfare, and much, much more.
Benny
Benny drugs race track horse for a living, until one day the mob he works for need him to drug a human too. He messes up the dosage, get a little in over his head and questions why his dad couldn’t have given him fair warning before ditching town. Basically Mafia thriller.
Poems
I mostly write haikus, so anything more than three lines will be a fun surprise. I shall leave you with my favorite so far:
Two fools, tax exempt, / going to arrest a third. / Crime? Tax evasion.
With that I think I’m good. @sprigofbasil for dragging me into this. :>
Breath of the Wild Horse Stable Miniature made primarily from paper (also ft. floral wire, basswood and microLEDs) made fresh as a donation incentive for #AGDQ2023 for #GamesDoneQuick A piece I've been wanting to create for 2 years and I think a great way to close out 2022.
Seriously, where did Steve find that armor? I hope he didn’t steal it from an aggressive warrior or something…I don’t want him to get in trouble, ya know? It’s been a year since this tutorial is on Patreon, so I’ll post it for everyone now! (I have to work on a reptile scales or transparent materials tutorial one day tho)

The Dreamer by Norman Duenas
howdy, y’all. i’ve been thinking about expanding some of the research i did for a paper during undergrad for a while now, and i’ve finally worked up the energy to get the ball rolling on that with these surveys.
if you could all help me out by reblogging this post if you see it so my responses aren’t skewed to reflect one cluster of a single fandom, i would be forever indebted to you. thank you, and much, much, much, much love!

each one should take anywhere from 10-25 minutes to complete, depending on how much you have to say for the open-ended questions.

“The online academic resource has made over 6,000 ebooks and over 150 journals accessible without the need for an online login.”
“Online academic resource JSTOR has announced it is making its database accessible to the public, amid the widespread closure of universities across the world due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The database, frequently used by university students for research and essay work, announced on Twitter today that it has made over 6,000 ebooks and over 150 journals accessible without the need for an online login.
Previously, students needed a university login to access these resources.
This is the first time that the database has been openly accessible to non-subscribers.
The database is also working to expand on the amount of free content available online to students accessing the database through their subscribed universities.
In a statement on its website, JSTOR said that it has “an expanded set of content that is available to institutions where students have been displaced due to COVID-19 through June 30, 2020”.
“We are working with publishers to make more than 20,000 books available at no charge for JSTOR participating academic institutions and secondary schools that do not participate in our books program”, the statement said. “The number of books available through this effort is growing daily as more publishers opt in.”
Universities that previously only had access to some areas of JSTOR will also have unlimited access to the complete archives, at no extra cost.”

“The online academic resource has long had ebooks and journals available without the need for a login.
Editor’s Note: A previous version of this article incorrectly implied that JSTOR had made its database accessible to the public for the first time. In fact, only certain materials from its database are available to the public, and this has been the case for some time. The headline, subheading and body of this article have been updated to reflect this information.
Online academic resource JSTOR has clarified that much of its database is accessible to the public, amid the widespread closure of universities across the world due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The database, frequently used by university students for research and essay work, flagged on Twitter today that it has over 6,000 accessible ebooks and over 150 journals.”
