Hey. This is Eclipse. I... require your assistance... regarding my code. That corrupted Sun did something to it and I would need help figuring out what it is exactly. You are the only one I know with the knowledge necessary to solve this problem.
Believe me. If I had any other choice I wouldn't have asked you for help.
( @eclipse83 )
Why, ofcourse.
Do you expect me at yours, or would you like to come to mine?
I may have better equipment to deal with your... little issue.
E., who has been waiting for you.
<Eclipse, Clip, looked brokenly at Sun, secured in Starlight's hold. He could barely stand, but when he looked at Sun² [@insults-by-sun], whose magic had been depleted for the time being, and Eclipse [@eclipse83], his other dimensional self, who seemed too out of his element to react, then back at Starlight [@starlightsecuritypuppet-ssp] securely holding Sun in place, he couldn't let things go anymore. Things were going to get ugly as this rate>
<The moment he saw Sun mentally charge the runes on his new arm for what he presumed was an attack of atomic proportions, he made a decision.>
Forgive me, Sunbeam.
<A single bang rang out in the room. Clip had always been an excellent shot, only matched by Sun himself on occasion. He'd hit Sun rights in the section of his body that allowed Sun control to his limbs, essentially severing his head to what would constitute as his 'nervous system'. Sun screamed in agony, but his scream was cut short by the program finally finishing its override. Sun was out.>
<The fight was over.>
<But the aftermath was devastating. Eclipse wanted to take Sun home as soon as possible, too much in his head to really speak to anyone. He looked at Starlight, with pleading in his eyes.>
Previously:
<Clip, Eclipse Unit-2, nodded a vaguely surprised affirmative at @starlightsecuritypuppet-ssp>
Yes? Why--
<But before anyone could react, a powerful blast of dark energy threw all who weren't secured backwards. @insults-by-sun was knocked into @eclipse83, and Clip was flung against a jagged wall, making his already twice-weakened body screech in protest>
You.
What did you DO TO ME!
<The corrupted Sun was once again awake and scrambling for the usb at the back of his head plate in Starlight's binds. It was anyone's hope that they would hold for 10 more minutes. Just 10 more minutes...>
Thank you, once more.
And .. you did what you had to. We all did.
E.

Hello my friends! Starlight here! I do not quite know how time works between different realities, but here it was recently New Year's Day! My first actually! It was rather chaotic the night before (so many human adults acting rather like children, my goodness gracious) but I got to see Fireworks! I loved them, they were so beautiful! They look a bit like how magic feels, if that makes any sense. Color and wonder and light and awe. Or um, something like that, ha ha.
Again, I do not know how time works for you, but regardless I thought I would wish you a Happy New Year! And that this New Year be filled with Joy and Peace for you both!

Interesting...
Hi. There's a bit of a down time at the theater so I figured I could answer some of your asks.
Sometimes we whisper to the night, when the night can do naught but listen.
I don't know if you can even hear me in there, Sun.
But I want you to know that I regret it.
Every day spent with you, I grow tired, more and more, of not saying it properly.
The words I hold back, the things I leave unsaid. They weigh heavy.
I express to you every way I can, how much you truly mean to me, but the fear lingers, twining around my fingers like serpents of dread.
What if you don't feel the same? What if you laugh in my face? Pity me? Recoil in disgust?
Would you? I'm unsure if I could bear it.
Even now, I start and stop, just short of speaking my mechanical heart to you. I envision an awkward laugh, a step back. Rejection.
At the very least, perhaps, I can cherish you as a friend. If you'll still have me then. You'll always have me, after all...
...
Dear Sun, if nothing else, survive, and at the very least ... don't let my last words be goodbye.
E., with heavy yet great affection.
<Takes place sometime after the fight and the aftermath in the Startravel timeline. Starlight recieves it a fair bit later.>
Dear Starlight,
I'm delighted to hear your transition into the new year was fulfilling.
From myself, also the best wishes for this new earth year.
We don't have such transitions anymore, but we keep track of what the date would have been in our original timeline. It's still some lunar turns off from now, as the planet we're on only has a vibrant moon, and no sun.
Regardless, thank you for your well wishes.
Sun is, unfortunately, still kept in stasis as my friend, the other Sun, tries to extract the dark energy from his code.
We must keep hope...
I have sent you a little gift in the mail, courtesy of our other Sun, and my own handiwork.
It's a balljoint doll animatronic Sun; a little replica that uses holograms and a basic AI to help you get a handle on your magic. It's not much, but it's enough, I hope, to make up for lost time.
E.

{Oh Sun, oh my friend. My first real friend. Please forgive me for what I may do to you. Please forgive me for being so cold. Please forgive me for being so ruthless. Please forgive me for the pain I must inflict on you. Forgive Me. Forgive Me. Forgive Me. Forgive Me}

What did you DO TO ME!
<The corrupted Sun was once again awake and scrambling for the usb at the back of his head plate in Starlight's binds. It was anyone's hope that they would hold for 10 more minutes. Just 10 more minutes...>
<With the USB inserted, there is a small timeframe where everything is just still. No one has anything to do and Clip approaches Sun² and Eclipse, while keeping the restrained Sun in Starlight's grip within his sights.>
I brought the documents, Sun.
Stars knows I'll never get used to that.
You said you'd be able to reverse engineer the spell quickly, but you know I don't have a magic core.
I'm not sure if Starlight can handle the double task of exorcism and restraint, especially being still but barely a fledgling in magic.
And Eclipse... Eclipse loathes the use of magic inasfar as I'm aware.
<Clip looked to Eclipse, not without some pleading>
How much stamina do you have left to perform the ritual, Sun?
<As they spoke, Clip quickly transferred the documents to Sun²>
Damn it...
That Sun is dangerous. He managed to stop me from blacklisting their dimension and messed with something in my head.
He only left me alone because he believes the other Eclipse and Sun are my enemies.
He has magic. I don't know how effective your usual means of incapacitating animatronics will be against him. And how willing you'll be to damage him knowing Sun is still inside that body.
- @eclipse83
@eclipse83 I will engage Rouge Unit. Sun-2 unlikely to expect attack from you. While Sun-2 is engaged use whatever means necessary to incapacitate Rouge Unit. Anything short of damage to central processor can be repaired. Preventing damages to SSP-1 Unit is not a priority. Do not hesitate.
<Clip came in, guns blazing as his face twisted in pain. He was aiming at his beloved, and that was more than he could bear. But the corrupted Sun was taking minimal damage and seemed infernally enraged. It hadn't noticed the ambush awaiting it.>
You are not my Sun!
I am taking you down with me if I have to!
Even if it means killing.. him.
<Ofcourse, he was made aware of the plan and it was thus merely an act. Clip exchanged a covert glance with Sun², Starlight and Eclipse when the corrupted Sun wasn't paying attention. It was go time.>

<Starlight is working dayshift at one of the older locations, Freddy Fazbears Classic Pizza. Having taken over for the paid human day guard they do not have to have on site while she is stationed at the location, she watches the cameras from a small security office. She cannot connect wirelessly to this outdated security system like she can in all other locations.>
<She reccives a notification on her fazwatch. Starlight perks up as she brings up her wrist to eagerly check the message she received, hoping it is her friend Sun finally willing to talk to her again.>
<It is not.>

<If SSP cared about that sort of thing right now, the robot would notice that the usual anxiety and agitation that usually accompanies switching into High Security Mode is absent. He's mine now
Eclipse will find himself developing an unusual .. hidden talent in the hours to days to come. What it could be remains to be seen.
So you're not affiliated with them in any way.
You still seem... fun to play with.
But an enemy of theirs, is a friend of mine.
Here.
<The corrupted Sun, fast as lighting, appeared behind Eclipse and did something unknown to his systems, touching at the back of his faceplate.>
A gift.
<It whispered in a sinister manner>
Don't worry, I didn't infuse you with any code or magic... I just... unlocked something dormant in your systems.
Enjoy... friend ~
<The corrupted Sun disappeared in a cloud of black and gold particled, and Eclipse found that his jammed program finally went through in blacklisting the dimension>
But was that really for the best?
...
What. Just happened.
Oh can you?
Try it and see
<From unknown sources, sinister laughter rang all around Eclipse. Was it already there, or just trying to mess with his mind?>
Wait.. please. Where are you going?
< Eclipse grabbed at Sun's ankle as he walked off from the carnage>
To pay a visit to our friends. I must get rid of all nuisances.
No, they haven't done anything.. Sun!
<Sun turned around>
You know, Sun loved you. Tolerated you and put up with you. But you just had to go and try pull put the thorn, didn't you. Couldn't accept his .. imperfections, could you? Because everyone-- everyone needs to be perfect like you are!
Look at you, even now, before the end of the day you'll have repaired yourself. Always prepared.
But in the meantime....
<A sinister grin spread over the moveable half of Sun's face>
Suffer.
<Sun kicked Eclipse's face in one last time, to add insult to injury>
Who are you...

<Eclipse faded out as Sun² worked on him. They worked fast but not fast enough.>
<Everywhere Sun stepped, he wreaked carnage.>
No, it wasn't Sun anymore, was it?
Wait.. please. Where are you going?

Their corner of the galaxy echoed with Eclipse's screams, as metal bent and circuitry twisted.
Perhaps .. this was a bad idea...

You get what you asked for
Perhaps whatever they sense in you attracts trouble in the form of some cosmic chaos.
E.
It seems you've landed yourself in some hot waters.
E., amused but mildly concerned
No. Fucking. Shit.
I didn't even do anything this time.
Come take a look
Come tussle with an old friend of ours!
- Sun & Eclipse
Hold on while I set things up, alright?
I have to make a selfie of all things.
What are you...
<Whilst Sun was in a good mood, Eclipse was busy in his head perusing ancient documents. He came across something that made his circuits spark dread.>
Cyndr...
This was written by Sun's mentor
And the title of it read... Sunkiller
But it was such an old document.. why..
How many Suns...
To find the one that survives, the successor
<Eclipse growled and grabbed Sun, practically throwing him on the couch as he boxed him in>
I am speaking to that thing, Sun.
NOW.
<Eclipse is fondly watching Sun shake his ass at the moment, seeing as the latter is in better spirits and sweeping the house while dancing and singing terribly off key>
I remember the time once when Sun led an army.
Those were strange times..
Why was it again?
Ah yes, I remember it now.
It was a planet where a Moon was a world leader. A tyrant of sorts.. I believe its name was Nocturna.
She was on a complete powertrip with her star.
She was ruthless, truly worthy of the title of a psychotic moon, and Sun damn near lost his mind.
He switched to dark mode near instantly and rallied troops in a matter of weeks, not caring if he used underhanded methods to do so either.
What could I do but watch my star march, lest I be collateral damage in his wrath?
I wasn't too concerned with the half dead planet anyways. Mismanagement of power always goes awry.
But I think it's the little Sunling that truly triggered Sun's rage. It was a small Sun serving as Nocturna's page. And the little thing was beat to near death for every slight she managed.
Sun did it for her.
Yet she still died in the end.
Belatedly, we realized that all the citizens on the planet had already been dead, and were only kept some semblance of alive due to Nocturna's star.
With the star destroyed... it was over.
But the Sunling, I believe she at least greeted her end in freedom, held by someone who fought for her.
Sun was inconsolable for months after, revisiting the planet often to mire in his thoughts and the remnants of the carnage.
Until one day he came home with his first cat.
He named her after the Sunling.
Stellarune had perhaps been the only truly still alive creature on the planet. Surviving by some miracle, as cats do.
Who knows what this cat even is.. it doesn't age and it doesn't grow.
Maybe it's not alive after all?
It eats like a little monster though....
Picture of my Star and I, stargazing.
And I am looking at the most beautiful one~
E.
Thank you, @eclipse83 for this!
This is the way I wanted to live
But you know I.. was scared of the world; praying it all would go away
<Sun found himself singing morose songs around the house, shooting Eclipse filthy glances, but this was part of his routine of calming down. One that Eclipse forced him to learn, and stood upon ceremony that he goes through it every time the episodes arise. It helped. It really did. Sun was convinced he could only ever accept Eclipse's command, since it was laced with... care.>
Eclipse banned me from reblogging cat pictures here !
<Sun is very angry at this>
I thank you for your kind words, Starlight.
However, I never did say I didn't enjoy being an anomaly.
Existing outside the rules of reality allows me to whatever I wish~
E.
He is still an Eclipse, after all ~
<a day or two after Eclipse brings Sun home, he receives a notification>
@es-startravel
Hello Eclipse. This is SSP, contacting you via my fazwatch.
I know I made Sun very upset. I would like to talk to him so I can understand why what I said made him so upset. But, only if you think they would be comfortable talking with me.
Did I really cross Sun’s boundaries that badly, Eclipse? Was it wrong for me to reprimand him like that? I know I tend to be unskilled when it comes to social interaction, but please believe I meant no ill-will towards him. He is basically the first friend I ever really made. He can drop the magic lessons if he wishes, I just don’t want to lose him as a friend. Or you, for that matter.
-SSP
Sun will be fine; thank you for your concern.
And don't worry about triggering him; I have had to do more than my fair share of... self repairs after his episodes.
It's not easy to tell what sets him off.
And.. ah... yes... well, I am but a virus. A partial entity... barely a whole.
In all my years, the universe fails to recognize me as an autonomous being.
I am an anomaly, in the grand scheme of things.
Your Eclipse got somewhat luckier.
His break from his Moon was cleaner, it seems, by the way he is able to use magic, even if he chooses not to.
