<Clip came in, guns blazing as his face twisted in pain. He was aiming at his beloved, and that was more than he could bear. But the corrupted Sun was taking minimal damage and seemed infernally enraged. It hadn't noticed the ambush awaiting it.>
You are not my Sun!
I am taking you down with me if I have to!
Even if it means killing.. him.
<Ofcourse, he was made aware of the plan and it was thus merely an act. Clip exchanged a covert glance with Sun², Starlight and Eclipse when the corrupted Sun wasn't paying attention. It was go time.>
@insults-by-sun
Damn it...
That Sun is dangerous. He managed to stop me from blacklisting their dimension and messed with something in my head.
He only left me alone because he believes the other Eclipse and Sun are my enemies.
He has magic. I don't know how effective your usual means of incapacitating animatronics will be against him. And how willing you'll be to damage him knowing Sun is still inside that body.
- @eclipse83
@eclipse83 I will engage Rouge Unit. Sun-2 unlikely to expect attack from you. While Sun-2 is engaged use whatever means necessary to incapacitate Rouge Unit. Anything short of damage to central processor can be repaired. Preventing damages to SSP-1 Unit is not a priority. Do not hesitate.
Wah! Hello, friend!
It's you and .... Eclipse?
You did it??
I can ... actually.. read the words.
Yours at least. I highly doubt this extends to other askers but wonderful, wonderful!
I can turn deScramble mode off in my circuitry!
Thank you again, Eclipse. I don't understand all this kindness... the reason for it. But I appreciate it.
Thank you for all your effort too, ah.. what do I call you exactly? You're a puppet model?
Starlight Security Puppet?! That's a mouthful. Do you have a nickname...
Doesn't matter. It'll still work fine.
Now I'm gonna open this up... Pretty simple mechanics but that's to be expected... Putting this here... and...
There. It's done.
You can test it out. The connection should be more stable.
( @eclipse83)
Alright. Let me give it a try...
@lost-in-space-sun Hello? Hello? Starlight Security Puppet calling in! Am I coming through more clearly now?
it is incredible what you can do, Eclipse...
One could, theoretically, use the energy of the black hole itself - and I presume you are aware this needs to be a supermassive black hole - to power the apparatus that will create the gravitational field. It should also be adaptive in nature, so it may need an advanced AI to extrapolate data, predict and adjust in real-time. Time is another issue... time dilation will be so rapid and unpredictable, you'd have to install a stabilizing time mechanism inside yourself. A better idea would perhaps be to travel through a black hole while inside a stable pocket dimension, little Eclipse.
Why don't you give it a try?
I'm sure a certain individual has the blueprints for a dark matter generator. Perhaps you could adapt them.
E., with love.
You seem a bit restless lately. I recall you mentioning you are interested in Black Holes. How about for your next project you try to make something that will allow to to safely explore the inside of one? Just an idea I am throwing out there.
-SSP
Are you stupid? That's not possible. The gravitational pull is too strong. Nothing could counter that.
...
.....
Hm... Maybe is anti-gravity... But is it even be possible to create such a thing?
Their corner of the galaxy echoed with Eclipse's screams, as metal bent and circuitry twisted.
Perhaps .. this was a bad idea...
...
You get what you asked for
Oh! You didn't know?
Perhaps I could teach you a thing or two?
I'm fairly experienced by now; I've had years to practice and various mentors (some a little unwilling but Eclipse likes to make deals..... or threats...)
I can definitely teleport over but I'll be completely depleted upon arrival? I suggest an extension cable... or a strong friend..
Oh sheesh. Hm. You make a good point with the tracking.
I can. I can.. but my gosh, there's only a 60% change I'll arrive in one piece. What are the chances you'll have spare parts available for a Sun model? Oh and don't be afraid, I don't look like your typical sun. Like Eclipse, one half of my face is fully black.
His personal touch on me~
What the heck, I trust you- let's do it!
@lost-in-space-sun
Hello Sun! SSP here! Whenever you feel up to it, could you give me the contacts of people who you think would be able to assist you? Or at least tell me what sort of people I should be looking for?
Perhaps whatever they sense in you attracts trouble in the form of some cosmic chaos.
E.
It seems you've landed yourself in some hot waters.
E., amused but mildly concerned
No. Fucking. Shit.
I didn't even do anything this time.
<Clip said nothing for a minute or so; he didn't have to, as Eclipse heard a generic voice speak>
Initialization process: begin.
Calculating.
...
Welcome user: Eclipse
Please wait as your code visualization loads.
<Slowly, Eclipse's code loaded in front of him in much deeper detail than his hardware at home has ever been able to achieve. Finally, he gets to see what's been growing in his head.>
Take a look at it, and then we can discuss a gameplan.
<Clip's voice sounded a bit far away, but still as if it was surrounding him like a mist of sorts>
@eclipse83
<Clip wasn't aware of Eclipse's inner thoughts and 5 minutes passed in amicable silence>
<The nanomachines then stopped working and a fully functioning, yet inactive, chamber had materialized.>
<Clip briefly inspected the machine and, deeming it up to standard, looked to Eclipse>
Are you ready?
<As Starlight was deeply entrenched in her core discovery, a light entered her field of vision. It felt safe, though the feeling itself felt strange, slightly uncomfortable. But she recognized the voice of its owner>
It's nice to meet you, Star.
Did you sleep well?
...
It's time to wake up.
<It was like meeting all old cosmic friend, even though they were new friends in every regard. But the elements recognized one another from an origin lost to time>
<Starlight felt her core glow; brighten... unfold>
<Faster and faster it spun, molding itself to a shape that intrinsically felt ... right>
A shield! But there was something more to it... what could it be?
@es-startravel - <at some time before the present>
<Starlight made her way across the beach from Eclipse to where Sun was resting>
Sun! Hello! Magic!
… ah. I am Sorry, that was rude.
I will start that again. Ahem. I was wondering, Sun, when you are feeling more rested would you be willing to please teach me magic? Eclipse, um the one that is your friend, recommended I learn some spells that could provide me with non-lethal means of defense and restraint. Just in case my code gets compromised, or anything along those lines.
And, I know it is silly and kind of frivolous but… if you have time could you also teach me something like creating colored glowing sparkles… or… something. like that…
It would just feel like the magic you see in story books and I would like to have. some. of that feeling… ah ha ha…
(why am I so bad at this?)
Well well well... What do we have here.
I could feel your pain from across dimensions. Your anger.
Betrayed by your own Sun, that little traitor. You can never trust anyone. Never ever. Ever. Especially not them. They act all sweet. Only to better stab you in the back.
...
I understand. I really do.
I've been watching you. Following your little blog. But... I've gotten tired of only watching.
That little yellow stain had it coming.
Hm, peculiar.
And who might you be?
I found the pods!
And one of them -- just one! -- is still in working order!
Stars, but.. is this little thing strong enough to weather the space storms around this planet ?
I really wish Eclipse was here to give me advice.
You know what? I'm going for it. I'm just.. I'm going for it!
Wish me luck!
<With the USB inserted, there is a small timeframe where everything is just still. No one has anything to do and Clip approaches Sun² and Eclipse, while keeping the restrained Sun in Starlight's grip within his sights.>
I brought the documents, Sun.
Stars knows I'll never get used to that.
You said you'd be able to reverse engineer the spell quickly, but you know I don't have a magic core.
I'm not sure if Starlight can handle the double task of exorcism and restraint, especially being still but barely a fledgling in magic.
And Eclipse... Eclipse loathes the use of magic inasfar as I'm aware.
<Clip looked to Eclipse, not without some pleading>
How much stamina do you have left to perform the ritual, Sun?
<As they spoke, Clip quickly transferred the documents to Sun²>
Damn it...

He only left me alone because he believes the other Eclipse and Sun are my enemies.
