Ofcourse.
I forgot.
This is foreign to you.
...
A moment.
<Eclipse could hear Clip input something on the panel>
Engaging rapid translation technology.
Please stand by.
<Piece by piece, Eclipse could see the code rearrange itself into something more readable, more direct. A binary that made sense, save for a few questionable things here and there. Almost like jargon from a different language: readable but hard to decipher without context. At least Eclipse could make some sense of it now...>
@eclipse83
<Clip wasn't aware of Eclipse's inner thoughts and 5 minutes passed in amicable silence>
<The nanomachines then stopped working and a fully functioning, yet inactive, chamber had materialized.>
<Clip briefly inspected the machine and, deeming it up to standard, looked to Eclipse>
Are you ready?
[☆Eclipse looked around, and started inspecting his system, running virus scans on his smart home. They detected ... something, but it wasnt exactly the standard format of a virus, and it also couldn't be contained]
Is someone pulling a prank on me? Such sophisticated programming...
This is the code that Solar Ec-- a friend modified for me to be able to withstand magical and psychic attacks.
It acts as a barrier and can be controlled at will.
You don't need to be able to use magic yourself, but you do need a temporary mana infusion to first activate it.
And you'll need more mana to actually manipulate it, in tandem with manual coding.
Are you up for the challenge?
I'll assist you, if needed.
And as for the mana, I can acquire that fairly easily.

<Clip came in, guns blazing as his face twisted in pain. He was aiming at his beloved, and that was more than he could bear. But the corrupted Sun was taking minimal damage and seemed infernally enraged. It hadn't noticed the ambush awaiting it.>
You are not my Sun!
I am taking you down with me if I have to!
Even if it means killing.. him.
<Ofcourse, he was made aware of the plan and it was thus merely an act. Clip exchanged a covert glance with Sun², Starlight and Eclipse when the corrupted Sun wasn't paying attention. It was go time.>
@insults-by-sun
Damn it...
That Sun is dangerous. He managed to stop me from blacklisting their dimension and messed with something in my head.
He only left me alone because he believes the other Eclipse and Sun are my enemies.
He has magic. I don't know how effective your usual means of incapacitating animatronics will be against him. And how willing you'll be to damage him knowing Sun is still inside that body.
- @eclipse83
@eclipse83 I will engage Rouge Unit. Sun-2 unlikely to expect attack from you. While Sun-2 is engaged use whatever means necessary to incapacitate Rouge Unit. Anything short of damage to central processor can be repaired. Preventing damages to SSP-1 Unit is not a priority. Do not hesitate.
<Sun eventually fell asleep, with nightmares plaguing his rest. He remembered Moon. He remembered being owned.>
<He woke up, having scorched the couch and scared the cats. Eclipse wasn't there.>
<Sun tried to breathe, even not needing it. He tried to regulate.>
No, no, no, no.
He's not here.
He's not here.
No hands around your neck.
No drowning.
No--
He's dead.
Am I? Am I really dead?
Still broken, I see. How pathetic.
Even after all this time, you still dream of me.
You yearn for me, don't you.
You liked the pain, admit it.
NO
No..
Go away.
...
Hello Sir or Madam,
I come to deliver an important message.
I've already seen it and I obviously won't comply.
Please go elsewhere if you value your time.
Perhaps whatever they sense in you attracts trouble in the form of some cosmic chaos.
E.
It seems you've landed yourself in some hot waters.
E., amused but mildly concerned
No. Fucking. Shit.
I didn't even do anything this time.
I understand.. your frustration.
<Clip started softly, evenly>
But I suggest. You. Sit. Down.
<Clip's voice was dark as he cracked the edge of the panel with his grip.>
<His voice smoothed over again and he walked away, throwing a single remark over his shoulder>
Or stand, for all I care. Just don't touch anything.
Hey. This is Eclipse. I... require your assistance... regarding my code. That corrupted Sun did something to it and I would need help figuring out what it is exactly. You are the only one I know with the knowledge necessary to solve this problem.
Believe me. If I had any other choice I wouldn't have asked you for help.
( @eclipse83 )
Why, ofcourse.
Do you expect me at yours, or would you like to come to mine?
I may have better equipment to deal with your... little issue.
E., who has been waiting for you.
Oh... That doesn't sound good.
Can you see any reason why it's corrupting? Can you stop it? I'll help you if you want to. You just have to say the word.
I am very good with codes, you could say it's my specialty. So if there's anything I can do, don't be afraid to ask.
I think there is some permanent damage already.
But if you can.. can you take a look inside my system? I don't know the extent of your ability, my dear.
The two work deep into the proverbial night, not without some initial terse exchanges. But after a while, the two Eclipses get lost in a world of code, magic and solving puzzles, momentarily forgetting previous animosity.
After a long while, and several heated failures, it's finally time.
Eclipse can go home, with a new lease on his ability.
Before they part, Clip pinched his ray and tells him to not be such a sourpuss all the time. He also tells him that he's a pretty cool guy and if he ever wants to work on some projects, to let him know.
But before he can get the last word of goodbye out, or listen to Eclipse's reply, an alarm rings and Clip looks like he's seen a ghost. He tersely tells Eclipse to just go home for now, opening a portal, as he leaves the space.
Eclipse would only later come to learn of ☆Sun's death...

I'm so tired.
It worked... somehow.
But I crash-landed (again!) on a (thankfully inhabited) nearby planet.
I don't know what kind of creatures live here, so I'll have to be careful.
Stars, I don't know if they even have an appropriate power source for me to use !
But it's better than nothing, and I took the solar panels with me just in case.
Maybe I could try installing them on myself... would that work?
No word yet from the other Eclipse
I hope they haven't forgotten me..
