It should also be adaptive in nature, so it may need an advanced AI to extrapolate data, predict and adjust in real-time. Time is another issue... time dilation will be so rapid and unpredictable, you'd have to install a stabilizing time mechanism inside yourself. A better idea would perhaps be to travel through a black hole while inside a stable pocket dimension, little Eclipse.
