“A person experiences life as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. Our task must be to free ourselves from this self-imposed prison, and through compassion, to find the reality of Oneness.”
-Albert Einstein
“You are a creature of Divine Love connected at all times to Source. Divine Love is when you see God in everyone and everything you encounter.”

Here, the Moon’s emotional realm is infused with Aries’ furious blazes, becoming agitated and boiling with many tiny passionate bubbles. An Aries Moon produces someone who’s probably very energetic and willing considering their own subjectivity, being blessed with the ability to find unexpected sources of strength and force of will when their emotions are at stake.
An Aries Moon symbolizes an individual who was taught the value of being courageous and energetic through their maternal figures in their upbringing. Now, in this individual’s subjective consciousness, things tend to grow out of their natural proportion, as if their thoughts are set under violent pressures, which can produce frequent emotions of anger, rage, passion or irritation. Judgements are made impulsively and there is the burning tendency to act according to one’s feelings before thinking things through.
Because of their upbringing, their feelings of protection and security depend on their ability to be proactive in their lives. They must be always looking forward to some kind of challenge, something in their lives that allows them to express their courage or sense of individuality. Being independent and dedicated to their values and objectives is essential, and they value very much their own opinions and attitudes, maybe to the point of being too stubborn about them. The Aries Moon individual is on an unconscious quest for finding and understanding their own selves; finding the one thing that separates them from the rest: their force of will.

Hey Henry, what are your thoughts on north nodes? It seems like such an important part of ones chart, but I never see anyone post about it on tumblr 🤔 Did I get this right-ish?; south node = past life, comfort-zone (mine is in pisces and 1st, so ego, escapism and self sacrificing behaviour) and north node = current life, destiny (?), new and uncomfortable situations that one has to experience (virgo in 7th, being organized and focusing on relationships, having a stable relationship). Thanks!
I think that the nodes are blown a little out of proportion in modern astrology. If we take things back to basics, however, I think that they can bear a lot of rich fruit. Consider the fact that the nodes are the places where the path of the Moon intersects the Solar ecliptic. At a very basic level we have the uniting of the Solar and Lunar selves here (similar to the Sun/Moon midpoint). Your active and passive natures are at one here. Your needs and wants align, and that’s why it can feel so powerful to prioritize the nodes when it comes to examining “life purpose”.
That being said, however, I personally take the Vedic (Jyotish) route when it comes to the nodes. I think that the North Node implies material increase, but a special kind of obsessiveness and spiritual drain, whereas the South Node implies material decrease, a special kind of apathy, and spiritual gain. It’s unhealthy to spend too much time at either end of the axis (this is true for every axis in astrology so it’s a bizarre thing to me that modern astrologers always tout the North Node as some sort of ultimate chart feature), and the ultimate manifestation would be one that is balanced. On one end you see the archetypal billionaire, who constantly craves more and more and yet is never satisfied, whereas on the other end you have a starving monk, who by releasing everything and giving to others attains the ultimate fulfillment and yet may not be able to (actually) feed himself. Both energies are necessary for a practical life, but taken to extremes they can become dangerous.
From a technical standpoint I use the adage that the North Node amplifies what it touches (and thus is a good match for the benefics) and the South Node dissipates what it touches (and thus is a good match for the malefics).
Functionally I think that we can see increase where the North Node is transiting and meaning where the South Node is.
“There is a philosophy, that the world we perceive through our senses, is only a version of a deeper reality. The Greek philosophers Socrates and Plato, taught that the world of our senses is a distortion, a mirage… like a shadow playing across a wall. Many historians believe that the Greeks were influenced by spiritual thinkers from India, where the idea of a deeper reality has a very long history. In Sanskrit, the word "maya” refers to this illusion and the selective view of reality we perceive through our senses. Beyond our manifest physical universe, there is a field of energy, information, and intelligence that orchestrates and governs the material environment. This ground state of creation is called the conscious energy field.
The conscious energy field does not exist independently of our perception of it. In other words, reality is a two-way street. We are both transmitters and receivers of information. We are both the creation and the creators of the conscious energy field, and are participants in a consciousness-created universe. This doesn’t mean that there’s no external reality, or that the universe literally takes place inside our heads. What it means is that the physical universe has no qualities or attributes in the absence of a conscious observer. For example, we see color as an attribute of physical reality. But color is not really inherent to reality. Instead, the phenomenon of color is a response made by the human nervous system to stimuli from the environment. We experience color as if it’s happening outside us, but we’re actually projecting it from inside us, and creating the phenomenon of color in the conscious energy field. This knowledge, combined with the power of intent, can allow you to create other phenomena in your life. By simply intending to create something, you have now begun to nurture that result in the physical world.“ -Deepak Chopra / Artwork by @tropicalgloom

If you are feeling very detached and disconnected from your current reality, it’s because it’s about to change. The July 27th lunar eclipse isn’t a rebirth. For a lot of people It’s a completely new life. These past few weeks have been the birthing pains.
