There was a beat, one from someone in the audience she couldn't get out of her head. After the performance her head was already building the rythm into her own world. The second she is back in her dressing room, or at least the space they labeled as that her hands start plucking at her guitar.

❝Taught me how to stand on my own. Mhm-- now lost on that road alone.❞

The sound of the shout causing her to stop for a moment head lifting just as she saw something--- no someone in her space. A small raise of her eyebrow as she went back to pluck the strings of her guitar. As she strummed she took her hearing aids out and kept going.

A moment of hesitation as the sounds of everyone erupted into her ears. An error on the guitar chords didn't help but a moment to remember her father's words & Jayce's to focus herself and her abilities and she found it. The person, no-- this was a child who slipped in. She slowly stood, still strumming the melody and shifting it to match the rhythm that matched this child's soul.

Her hand lifted and pushed aside her costume rack to see the young one. A warm smile as she knelt down and set her guitar to the side.

❝Did those big guys scare you? Sometimes they get me too but, they are all nice. I can hear it in their hearts. They just don't know how to express it. You guys sure do have a lot of stuff to balance down here don't you.❞

updates to fc info we are using Jessie Mei Li now for Sera, while I did not see anything relating her to having any sort of Ionian connection an anon did shoot me an ask mentioning that and that riot had made a post about her being inspired Chinese culture and my use of ms sabrina was white washing, which I NEVER wanna do so hence the update with more research and picking someone more appropriate for it. more abt this under the cut! and i am truly sorry for the fact my ignorance hurt people and i did not do my due diligence in researching more before making that choice. I am gonna do a lot better going forward with these things!

i did find a reddit comment that mentioned this from someone who works for Riot so I wanted to take that into consideration so the update has been done. I have no idea if this is connected to her whole character of just her KDA roots but regardless I never want to partake in white washing anyone or anything period, it is really not ok and something I did not realize I had done and am so sorry if it hurt anyone or people were afraid to tell me previously. white washing is really harmful to poc communities and in the rpc it is really important to be mindful of these things when making a character or picking a fc because these communities are already incredibly marginalized in the rpc and ignoring it is taking part in it which I also do not want to do because it is incredibly disrespectful and incredibly harmful and as a white passing person i need to be held to a higher standard as well.

I dont read the game lore because it is really hard for me to follow since its not in like a book or a movie or a show and connecting it all through wiki pages is really hard for me so please know if i get something wrong I am always

Ok super integral to how I write Seraphine. Despite her lore mentioning both her parents briefly it highlights her dad mostly. And we all know how thematically arcane has a lot of just dads. Sera is no exception to this, while her mom is still alive she decided to move back Zaun and didn’t enjoy Piltover as much as Seraphine and her father. She still visits her mom and they still have a decent relationship but Sera’s dad was her primary caregiver and helped her the most with her music and on top of that when she can’t build things with Jayce and Viktor her number one building buddy is her dad. Everything she learned was from him and he’s literally her best friend. A lot of music on her first few albums were about him or their relationship.

On a secondary note, sera obviously writes a lot of music based on what she heard when she listens to people’s souls but if she’s very close to people she often tries to focus on what their souls tell her and tries to help them not only by writing a lot of music for them but in general with literally anything she can do which at times can be very self destructive because she’s the biggest everyone before me type girlie pop.

Also full send who helps Seraphine hide her zaun equivalent of a Vespa when she buys it because she absolutely does and she hides it from everyone and uses it to get down to her lil band brawls, she gives u a free plus one to the brawls if u help her i promise

Just a gentle reminder my sera is disconnected from the LoL lore and is in her own world with the arcane lore I made for her so for my friends writing LoL characters, if her interactions differ slightly ily and I hope that’s ok

Sera is the type of girl that would romance you and then play guitar right after. Me personally I think it’s hysterical if she made wonder wall in canon for the arcane universe.
