Both of them died, came back, and had to restore their memories. They both deal with feeling like an intruder in their own body, feeling like they can't live up to who they used to be in their past life. WAR PTSD!! FLASHBACKS!!! They're both knights (sort of? This is a bit of a stretch lmao) Sun went to a knight school, Wild used to be a knight before he kicked the bucket.

I need more content of them interacting and just relating to each other. Because they really would relate. Their experience of dying and coming back is not a very common one, and having someone else to relate to would probably make them overjoyed. Also, Wild has already spoken to her. Mostly just as a business exchange and she's Hylia then, but STILL. Pls someone write a fic abt them, I will marry you. This is my official proposal. Compete for my aroace hand right now. Captain isn't that high of a rank, so there would be quite a few people in the military that would outrank Warriors.

However, I also like to think being a Hero is sort of a rank on its own when it's needed. During a war for example, being the Hero (as a rank) would give Warriors more privileges and he isn't just a captain. If there isn't a pressing conflict, then Warriors is just a captain. Just some dude.

I'm definitely just sort making this up but I am trying to blend his somewhat lowly rank and with being a Hero, which is kind of important in Hyrule.

My username is penguinly! It's actually not that deep but my long-term special interest since forever has been penguins and I hop between fandoms too often to choose a fandom-specific name. I chose penguinly because 'penguin' was taken on ao3 and it sounds really similar to Penguini which is the name of the penguin in my pfp. Personally I think Revali would be physically affectionate with Zelda. Seeing as he's a commoner (at least not nobility), he didn't grow up around the environment of "untouchable royals." so he's just throwing a wing around her shoulder or leaning in her. (one time he shoved her playfully and she about squealed with delight.) With Zelda, I think she'd appreciate a friend who wouldn't be afraid to be close to her or speak honestly with her. I think she'd find his attitude refreshing and he would likewise finding her interesting and accepting for his idea of how nobility acts. They just give me a very loving platonic relationship vibe
