scrolling the npd tag and scoffing at someone’s superiority complex while simultaneously thinking how i’m so much better than them. Girl

People with psychotic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with personality disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with substance abuse disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with tic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with bipolar disorder are neurodivergent too.
People with dissociative disorders are neurodivergent too.
Neurodivergence isn’t just ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. (Plus those last two also get left out sometimes!) Neurodivergence is anything that affects your brain.
“Neurodivergent people hate loud noises” is actually just as valid as a statement as “neurodivergent people have delusions,” “neurodivergent people have tics,” or even “neurodivergent people have low empathy.”
i think it’s interesting that uneducated people will go “how do you have that many disorders???” when talking about personality disorders. they don’t understand most people have personality disorders actually have two to three because of the high comorbidity of them all.
NPD and BPD have a 40% comorbidity rate and BPD and DPD have a 30%. like that’s pretty high in the grand scheme of things???
trauma disorders tend to come in stacks… it’s weird people don’t realize that.
npd culture is seeing someone mass reblog/like my posts and getting a narc high because yesss they love me they liked all of my posts and then followed me they see how important and special I really am

People with low to no empathy are still perfectly capable of being ‘good’ people.
The amount of empathy a person has is not indicative as to whether that person will be good or not; there are plenty of ‘bad’ people with high empathy.
Empathy is literally just feeling the emotions of others or adequately reading them.
You can still be compassionate and kind without the presence of empathy.
Empathy isn’t as important as society makes it seem.
people with personality disorders: it was difficult to survive on the ground, so i climbed in a tree and now im stuck and can’t get down
mental health workers (and everyone really): it seems that they climbed in trees to manipulate us. they are fully capable of getting down but doing so would make it harder to abuse us, so they stay there
I relate.
The "anti-NPD" tag is so funny to me because imagine being against a literal disorder that someone can't help. Do you expect them to like??? get rid of a lifelong condition??? just for you???
A nonbinary child was murdered recently and I’ve been reporting multiple transphobic comments misgendering them, mocking their death, and deadnaming them. But they stay up. Tumblr won’t do anything about it. But they drop everything to permanently ban a trans women.
Really shows their priorities.
NPD (+ bpd?) culture is loving the idea of being hated by someone only to get upset when it really happens because you're sensitive
