Remember when someone was like “haha the funniest thing tumblr could do right now is make it so you get a badge for looking at 600 posts instead of what twitters doing lol” and then they did it. That was pretty awesome. I think the funniest thing tumblr could do right now is stop flagging trans women’s post as sexual right fucking now lol and fix prev tags and get rid of the fucking bigots and racists and nazis for once haha and also apologize for this shit. Wouldn’t that be pretty funny lol haha it would be so funny if they did this
Npd culture is having to constantly remind yourself that the random people around you are people and they have lives even when you're not nearby because you never really internalize that.

I feel like there’s a lot of symptoms that neurodivergency advocates will 100% support…unless they come from NPD.
You shut down at all criticism, are absolutely terrified of failure and not being perfect, don’t respond well at all to negative comments? When it’s due to something like RSD, anxiety, etc, you deserve help and support! When it’s due to NPD, you’re a manipulative asshole.
You’re bad at social cues and struggle with relating to other people due to Autism? That’s not your fault at all and you should be accepted! But when you struggle with those things due to NPD, you’re abusive.
Of course, some people are just ableist across the board, but there’s even more people who are 100% accepting of symptoms that come from certain “normalized” disorders, but will show their true colors if the exact same symptoms come from a “scary” disorder.
It’s absolutely insane how I still see so many borderlines misuse the term narcissist…you do realize all that crap they say about ppl with NPD being evil they say about us too, just to a lesser extent, right?
NPD is also about having learned so much on how to present yourself because you were forced to perform at an age far too early for that, then growing up and looking down at everyone who cannot perform as well as you do and considering them weak and unprepared for life. How dare you not have the horrific experience of lacking any sense of self unless you’re praised and elevated.
We really need to stop moralising emotions.
A kid who gets angry when they get hurt is not somehow ‘worse’ than a kid who gets sad. They are not less deserving of love, sympathy, and affection just because their natural response is anger.
Adults are allowed to be angry without being evil or immature.
Like literally any other emotion, anger, when successfully regulated, is GOOD for you to feel! And pretty much any emotion can be harmful if it gets out of control.
I’m making this posts from the perspective of someone with ASPD, but this applies to other ND people too as well as NT people.
I feel like there are a lot of people out there who needs to hear this:
If you dropped out of school because of diagnosed (or undiagnosed) ADHD, Autism, ADD, OCD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia etc… You did not fail. The education system failed you.
People with psychotic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with personality disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with substance abuse disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with tic disorders are neurodivergent too.
People with bipolar disorder are neurodivergent too.
People with dissociative disorders are neurodivergent too.
Neurodivergence isn’t just ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. (Plus those last two also get left out sometimes!) Neurodivergence is anything that affects your brain.
“Neurodivergent people hate loud noises” is actually just as valid as a statement as “neurodivergent people have delusions,” “neurodivergent people have tics,” or even “neurodivergent people have low empathy.”
