Questioning NPD culture is getting annoyed when people don’t understand that NPD is a spectrum like any other disorder. Yes, sometimes the traits can make someone an asshole, that can happen with any disorder or any mentally stable person. But sometimes the traits can also make you one of the kindest people on earth because NPD is literally viewing yourself as the best and wanting everyone else to agree.

guys the temptation to tag my npd posts as narc abuse just to irritate the narc abuse truthers is eating me alive. it would be so incredibly funny to me. i know i could handle the hate. the only reason i am not doing it is because i have a vague sense that this is one of those things that i THINK would be funny but may actually be Morally Wrong.

is it Morally Wrong to tag all my npd posts as narc abuse for the sheer purpose of trolling narc abuse truthers. this is a genuine question someone please give me an answer

Sick and tired of narcissists being talked about like mythological wild animals. I just read something that described covert narcissists as “highly defensive and extremely hostile”. I’m not a skittish dog. Why can’t you put it as “traumatised with extreme trust issues” like you would for any other less stigmatised disorder?

i think it’s interesting that uneducated people will go “how do you have that many disorders???” when talking about personality disorders. they don’t understand most people have personality disorders actually have two to three because of the high comorbidity of them all.

NPD and BPD have a 40% comorbidity rate and BPD and DPD have a 30%. like that’s pretty high in the grand scheme of things???

trauma disorders tend to come in stacks… it’s weird people don’t realize that.

idk if it’s hpd/npd but i fixate on random people i think could be equals & imagine us being really close only to see them talk about someone else who’s not me and crash over it. how am i not the most important person in your life and center of your attention (we’ve never spoken)

Here's to narcissists. You aren't evil, abusive, or bad for having NPD. The trauma you went through to develop NPD was not your fault, you didn't deserve it, and I genuinely hope you can heal from it in whatever way is the healthiest for you. I love you, care about you, and wish you the best.

A nonbinary child was murdered recently and I’ve been reporting multiple transphobic comments misgendering them, mocking their death, and deadnaming them. But they stay up. Tumblr won’t do anything about it. But they drop everything to permanently ban a trans women.
