Heart- Break again finds a Way
In Strom, I tend to play defensive rather than going with the flow, enjoying the beauty of destruction. I constantly shove my face too deep inside the sand, so that I can ignore my feelings until they lose their voice by screaming. I fell in love with a boy, at the age of twenty-four, you would think I would be mature enough to handle a silly crush, however, that's not how the mind works when you get to know that silly crush also likes you back. Well, crush is a powerful word, it was more like a stupid joke rather than crush. We both fell in love but I fell harder, I used to wait for his text and calls when he is not even ready for something long-term, not like I was thinking of long-term. But unfortunately, it's me who crashed harder. The anxiety inside my mind forced me to analyze every and each word, every action, which turned me into a big ugly green-eyed monster that may be and hopefully, I am not. He drunk-texted me the L-word which again made me hopeful and again made me sad thinking he would run the moment the clarity will hit him the next morning. And he did the same thing, I imagined he would. But at the same time, I get to realize one thing, someday I will find someone who will not be afraid to join in my weirdness and won't say he is confused. I deserve someone who won't hesitate to take my hand and also came to the conclusion, someday he is also gonna find someone who will have the patience to wait for him, let him go at his slow pace. Alas, and fortunately that person is not me.

During the rep era, i came for the songs, but fell in love with the person behind the songs and stayed for her. 💓
how could anyone ever doubt how much taylor swift cares about her fans when:
1. she is the queen of using second (and third) stages to get closer to her fans on tour to ensure that, even if her fans can’t afford the ‘best’ or pit tickets, they can get close to her and have an awesome view.
2. taylor invited her fans into her homes for secret sessions and trusted her fans with her unreleased albums, despite this being a risk to her safety and increasing the likelihood of leaks / spoilers about her new music.
3. she has risked her safety multiple times by walking through the crowd on her tours to say hello to fans, hug them and squeeze their hands to show her gratitude for them coming to her show and to make them happy.
4. she has never done a paid meet and greet. all her meet and greets are free and she is known for giving her fans her undivided attention and time when meeting them.
5. taylor held swiftmas where she sent her fans presents and turned up at a fan’s home with presents. she even included handwritten cards.
6. taylor has a reputation for knowing her fans’ names and recognising faces when she meets them.
7. taylor is very personable with her fans - she bakes them cookies, let’s them talk about their worlds and let’s them hold her cats.
8. taylor puts on shows that are 2+ hours long and will perform medleys to be able to include as many songs as she possibly can in her sets. she will even sing surprise songs, all to ensure that her fans get to hear the songs that they love.
9. at her shows, taylor has included pre-show meet and greet for fans she’s chosen (usually from online interactions or ‘taylurking’) and post-show meet and greet for fans who her mum or her team (taylor nation) chose at / during the show. did i mention both meet and greets are free as well as taking a long time?
10. not to mention, the countless hours taylor has spent interacting online with her fans, especially in previous years which she spent a large amount of on tumblr interacting with thousands of fans: following them, liking & reblogging their posts, and having inside jokes with them.
yes, taylor swift is a capitalist business woman. she’s no different to her male peers in the music industry, or her female peers for that matter. her success is just much greater than most. taylor swift’s success is as large as it is for three reasons: 1) being her talent and hard work; 2) being her business mind and work ethic; and 3) the relationship she upholds with her fans and the way that she is able to generate an investment in her music and her storytelling. of course she wants to break records, of course she wants to make money and of course she wants to be a successful star, however whilst achieving all these things she has remained nothing but humble and grateful to those who believed and invested in her. taylor recognises that her fans are a huge part in where she is today & shows that through all of her efforts above, and more. never doubt that. <3

Being an international Asian swiftie, this week was really chaotic (bruh Ticketmaster) and sad because until and unless I moved to another country, i won't be able to attend her concert. I'm also happy that Taylor's gonna tour and people will sing 'f*ck the patriarchy' or 'taylor you'll be fine' in the arena! What's with these contradictory feelings? 🫠
Happy one year @taylorswift for giving us this masterpiece! Coming a full circle Red (tv) cause we remembered it all too well!

I'm so so excited for this album, I personally think as the track list was leaked that ultimately caused this mayhem of whole night long and Taylor released rest of her episodes all at once . It's exciting to have the whole track but I used to eagerly wait for each episodes, it was more fun for me! But it's alright as only few days are there for the album release.
I'm way more excited about karma!

Diary Entry: Love Finds a Way
I think Ghibli Studio movies are love letter to the nature, to the naive little you who believed everything that's magical. I remember cuddling with my mother & elder sister in rainy nights, where mother would whisper fairytales in our ears, or the early mornings covered in mist, I used to listen fairy tales while walking towards school. That was my love letter to my childhood, the movies helped me giving perspective to my life. When you watch Ghibli movies at young age, you wanted to live in world with wizards or you try to find little people in the dark corners of your house, but as a grown up, I realised it's all about appreciating nature and everything it offers. You understood even in the worst days, your family/closed one will surround you with their embrace. You realise all along the magic you were trying to find, lies in the love you feel or the love you gave away. Love the most magical power of them all. There's nothing much to our everyday mundane life but still there's beauty in waking up early or in making your favourite meal! You can be a brave warrior or an artist who's fighting the injustice of the world with nothing but courage. As a grown up I still and will always believe in magic because it's there with us, it's there with our each breath and it's there in our every heart beat because true magic lies only within you🍃

It’s kinda cool how someone can just pop into your life all of a sudden and become so important to you within such a small amount of time. I think that’s what makes life so interesting though. There’s always a reason to be hopeful for the future because you never know what good things will come your way next.

This is my June Productivity Challenge Day 1, so i can keep track of my work life as well as study. Today marks my first time working in a late night shift, I'm excited to work and I hope i won't fell asleep in the middle of it. Fingers are crossed.

"After years of overthinking and analysing I came to a conclusion about relationship. Exactly, why my relationships never lasts. You know, sometimes people doesn't put the same value to the things as you do. I'm not talking about romantical relationship, because you're going into that kind of attachment with some kind of expectations, you want love, just attachment maybe. I'm talking about friendships! I always kept my expectations low, as long I'm not expecting that person to do anything, I'm not overthinking. I remember telling someone to just text me whenever you can after your flight lands, they didn't even though they said they would! I waited the whole day and again realise why I don't have any expectations from people anymore. Expectations are the root of every problems. I don't think it's requires a lot of space or time to text someone, if any person couldn't find five seconds of their precious time to spend on the person they said their close friend, I can't stop myself thinking if I have any value in that person's life anymore. But at the same time I also think, no body is entitled to spend their time on anyone, there might be lot's of things that I don't know that they might be facing, struggling through. But I still can't stop myself from hoping. I can't stop myself from begging to have footnotes in their stories! I don't know I'm just incredibly heartbroken." I'm in dilemma!

i kind of don’t like Taylor describing what happened to her in 2016 as ‘getting cancelled’ because it definitely wasn’t. it was a whole different beast. getting ‘cancelled’ is people finding out something about you, talking about it for a week, causing you to take like 3 weeks off and then everyone just moves on. she had a grown man who was weirdly obsessed with her since she was 19 publicly discredit her art and sexualize her to the entire world, put her in a revenge-porn style music video with a wax figure depicting her naked body without her consent, had a crowd of tens of thousands of people say ‘fuck taylor swift’, had a mural painted of her death, and went into hiding for almost two years. ‘getting cancelled’ involves a few tweets and an apology note…. not years and years of therapy.

Dairy Blog: Family
I don't think people realises how precious one's family is to them. For me family is home, home is where I can come back and be myself around my family, it's where I cry the most also where I feel the happiest! But most of the time I took them for granted believing they will be there for me forever & ever to forgive my past, my mistakes and my ignorance. So when I see people disrespecting my persons, i get so angry, so angry! I believe any relationship begins or more clearly to say the foundation of every relationship is faith and respect & love. But why we always disrespect our family, home so much? I put things down in disappointment when the people to whom I look up to, disrespect the humanity in me.Then the only thing i believe that all i can do is to break & burn things down. So, always treat your family, your home the way you would like to be treated with love & respect. I got nowhere to hide, to lick my wounds, please put my name on top of your list, handle my heart with care. Don't let it go! This is the last time.
A thought: does our heart breaks a little everytime when someone doesn't take you seriously or made fun of you, or does it took away the hope when the person making fun is your own family itself? My heart goes to all other persons who were made fun off for being themselves or towards those who was labelled as sensitive because you don't take part in their nasty jokes. You don't get angry at them, you just became disappointed. You stop saying things. Because it's hurts.
