no amount of women hating men on the internet will compare to the acts of misogynistic violence men commit. you can control the media you want to consume, you can not control the acts of others out in the real world. stop comparing women posting “i hate men” to men killing women out there. misandry isn’t real.

"girls bathrooms are for zipping up dresses and talking about lipstick" you are so unbearably fucking sexist and you dont even know it
Things I support:
dysphoric people (trans or not)
getting dysphoric people access to better healthcare
getting transitioning people access to better healthcare
getting trans people healthcare which presents treatment for dysphoria and transition as options and does not pressure anyone to do anything
scientific research into the health risks and long-term effects of various aspects of transitioning (binding, hormone therapy, psychological patterns, etc.)
safety and autonomy of trans people
detransitioned people
Things I do not support:
males in female spaces
female spaces being compromised into free-for-all “gender neutral” spaces (while male spaces are left untouched)
medically transitioning children
lesbians & gay men have to be “open to” dating transwomen/transmen respectively or they’re transphobic
lesbians & gay men should “re-examine” their “genital fetishes” (i.e. DIY conversion therapy)
presenting medical transition as the only route for dysphoric people
pressuring dysphoric and/or gender-nonconforming people to identify as trans
erasing gender-nonconforming women like joan of arc from women’s history by claiming they were transmen
erasing gay figures like marsha p. johnson from gay rights history by claiming they were trans
rapists, murderers and predators who hold (or held) positions of influence in the trans movement (biko, rivers, alok, etc etc)
“centering” males in female reproductive rights
silencing female issues to cater to transwomen’s feelings
silencing victims of male trans people in the interest of “not making transwomen look bad”
violent and/or intimidating protests, no-platforming, other intimidation tactics, as an attempt to ban women’s writing, silence women’s dissenting voices, and erase women’s achievements
people identifying as trans based on gender stereotypes, outdated notions of “brain sex,” or nebulous feelings rather than sex dysphoria
transwomen being allowed to pretend they were not socialized male
transwomen being allowed to pretend they do not, and have never held male privilege
transmen’s experiences with female socialization and sex-based oppression being silenced and transmen being thrown under the bus in order to make the previous two points appear legitimate
pushing false statistics, lies, and strawman arguments to demonize anyone who questions trans theory
“TERF”
subsequent TERF witch-hunts, block lists, demanding that no one so much as hear what radical feminists have to say and instead blindly accept a strawman version of what we believe
ostracizing and bullying of anyone who expresses curiosity about radical feminist ideas, reveals that they’ve read radical feminist blogs, or so much as reblogs memes from radical feminists
denial of basic biology
denial of basic sociology
denial of sex-based oppression
I think the most vulnerable people in society are, like, impoverished children who currently live in abusive homes or something. Not fully grown adult males on estrogen.
I'm not a linguist but mainstream feminism's total lack of respect for language and the meaning of words need to be studied Call sex "work" but then shocked when Belgian prostitutes are being told they have productivity quotas to meet (aka treated like a worker) and can't refuse sex more than 10 times in 6 months else they may be reported to a government official. Call "woman" anyone who identifies as woman and then shocked when a male serial rapist and murderer demands being in the female prison. Say the job fair is for women and "anyone non binary or femme aligned" and shocked when hundreds of regular males show up. Convinced the wishy washy-ness and boundary-lessness of feminist speech is a manifestation of women's total disempowerment in society.
In every other sphere of life- language has hard rules and definitions. When it comes to women's issues, porous, open-ended language is the trademark. It's like not even our words can say "no". No word we use must ever even imply a "no". It's sick.
And don't get me started on the concept of inclusivity itself has been pretty much been weaponized to mean "never say no".
smthing i can just never believe when ppl (mostly twitter users) complain about a girl character being made to look 'mannish' or 'masculine' and talk about the death of femininity and every time i get excited and think 'oh okay cool did we get a butch character or-' and its literally jusg a regular fucking woman like you would see at the grocery store. like jusyt a normal woman
Something random that pisses me off is how autistic boys throw hands at their moms but not their dads. I have autistic male cousins that need a lot of support but I feel so bad for my aunt because they fucking beat her during their meltdowns, but when the dad is there? They WON’T. And apparently it’s not a unique thing either. Is it because they know they can get away with it? That they can physically overpower her? Anyone with knowledge about this topic please LMK.
ngl idgaf abt if aileen wuornos acted in self defense or not dont rent out the bodies of vulnerable women and u wont suffer the consequences
I feel like "trump wants to throw away literal dinosaur fossils" would really turn heads if we actually had a functional opposition party in this country to get messages out, but I guess I'll just have to get a paint pen and write it on my car. fine, I'll do it.
Are you like, stupid?
« Research in Europe attests that women express more concern about climate change than men, and are more willing to make sacrifices to reduce emissions.
Women in the United States are more likely than men to believe in climate change science.
Globally, women are responsible for half of the world’s food production. In most Global South countries, women produce between 40-80% of food, and are are central stewards of seeds and agricultural biodiversity.
In Global North countries, women have been found to be more likely to recycle, buy organic food and eco-labeled products and place a higher value on energy-efficient transport.
Involving more women participants in management and decision making surrounding local forests is related to significantly greater improvements in forest conditions and conservation.
Studies show us that worldwide, when women are uplifted, there are immense benefits to entire communities and societies overall. Sustainable and local economies grow, populations stabilize, and children’s health and education improve – all of which are foundations for a sustainable path forward. In many countries, women get out the vote and vote more often, and lead on environmental and social legislation when elected to public office. It has additionally been shown that women are one of the most vital actors in peace-making. »

I rly hate the Satanic Panic & the moral panic surrounding violence in video games in the 90s, coz it's now impossible to talk about the social implications of violent video games in a realistic sense.
No, violence in video games does not create serial killers in the way most people imagine it would.
However, it's very important to notice how after 9/11, a lot of violent video games pivoted their content from silly gratuitous cartoon gore to more realistic military shooters set in the Levant from a US American lens. It's also important to notice the connection of these games & their toxic online multi-player voice chats to Gamer Gate in 2014.
It's obviously not as black & white as it was presented in the 80s & 90s, I dont think everyone who played early Call of Duty games is a white supremacist who wants to join the military to kill people in the middle east, but I think it's dangerous to pretend like video games or any media can't have an impact on the way people think about violence.
I think what makes all the difference here is how that violence is portrayed, what the message behind it is, what the motives are behind the people who crafted that message, who the victims of that violence are, how they are portrayed & the greater cultural context that surrounds it.
the gentrification of the weird girl
i always think about that study where they had adults hold a baby, and when they were told the baby was a girl the adults said she was cute and small, and when they were told the baby was a boy they said he was big and strong. they rated the baby’s ability to do things and tendency towards certain toys differently. they even held the baby differently. (x) or when they rated the baby’s physical ability to do various tasks such as climbing up a slope differently, (x) & when they measured how much parents told their girl children vs. their boy children to be careful and stop being so rowdy (x), & when they measured how often girls and boys were told to be quiet. (x) this was, obviously, all unconscious behavior in the adults. they’re not all like, raving sexists who outspokenly believe that women can’t do stuff or that girls really should just be quieter, be more still than boys. like its not even counting the direct, actual messages, its just literally how every single person in your entire life treats you, and if asked they would probably deny that its even because you’re a girl. how the fuck am i supposed to believe this doesn’t affect a child’s development when its literally constant throughout the entire process
maybe subconsciously but a lot of people really do not believe women are intelligent enough to be funny on purpose, or absurd/ironic on purpose, or make art that makes people uncomfortable on purpose. “omfg how did she not realise how this would come off” she realised. i promise she realised. i’m going to kill you.

tumblr leftists being surprised to see middle aged white women with signs or hats saying "deny defend depose" really reinforces for me that tumblr leftists don't actually talk to people lmao. like I did a lot of canvassing as a teenager and you know who the best most reliable political organizers are? middle aged women. you know who's bloodthirsty after watching rachel maddow every night and sharing HuffPo articles on facebook? middle aged women. maybe sheryl from iowa who's been voting religiously for democrats for the past thirty years IS more hardcore than you, tumblr user who did a write-in "protest vote." what are you going to do about that.
"...who want nothing from you..."
But, they want everything from you. They want unrestricted unquestioned access to exclusive female & gay male spaces... they want to control how others refer to & perceive them... they want complete commodification of the language on how we talk about biological sex... and they want silence, punishment, & ostracisation for those who disagree with them in any capacity.
Of course we can empathise with the trans struggle & be respectful of medial things like an individual's pronouns & making sure all people have a seat at the metaphorical table, but when we're called "transphobic" or "fascist" for saying biological sex is real, women face sex-based oppression, and that lesbians & gay men aren't interested in the opposite sex, my respect has its limits. You will not run around screaming transphobia while being misogynistic & homophobic at the same time.
Pedro claimed full intellectual bankruptcy with this quote.
crazy how some women think they’re hated for being …feminine and not because they’re ummm women….
the biggest bullshit everrrrr is when people say "men and boys are punished for crying whereas women and girls are validated and comforted" it's such bullshit people will literally see a woman crying and call her an evil manipulative bitch
Girl when I tell you that this fucking slaps

In the same way that ending slavery didn't have to be good for Whites, ending the Holocaust didn't have to be good for gentiles/people not in concentration camps, legalizing gay marriage didn't have to be good for straights, etc., feminism and women's rights don't have to be good for males in order to be legitimate.
“my legally protected gender” must be nice. i wish women had like, legally protected humanity
