Izuku watched his son play with his superhero action figures, was he allowed to call him that? His son. Could you call someone your son when you barely knew them? Izuku had missed birthdays, first words, and first steps. What kind of father does that?
His own.
Maybe thatâs why this all hurt so much because he turned into what he feared the most. He turned into the ghost from his own life. He became someoneâs missing piece.
Could he blame you or was that taking the easy way out. Was that the easiest way to take out the plethora of emotions on his plate? He felt the sofa dip on his left, glancing he caught your wavering smile. âYouâre staring you know.â
âSorryâŠâ His lips formed a line as he repositioned himself. âIâm just messing with youâŠâ You sighed leaning back, âI donât expect you to⊠be happy about any of this...or be happy with me.â Izuku leaned back, sinking into the couch with you. Looking down at his hands he popped his knuckles with anxious feelings. âYeah, Iâm not happyâŠâ
âWere you ever going to tell me?â His tone wasnât accusing or with anger, but it was full of hurt.
âNo...I wasnât. Not until I saw your momâŠâ Izuku felt his heart drop, not knowing how to respond he stayed silent, letting the sounds of clinking plastic take his place.
âI was embarrassed...and I didnât want you to pity me. I didnât want you to be stuck with me because of a baby. You broke up with me, how was I supposed to tell you something like that right after. Itâs not your fault itâs mine. I know that now.â You picked at the fraying fabric of your dress. The feeling in your stomach was unsettling and you had bile dancing on your tongue.
Izuku tried to comfort himself by rubbing his hands on his knees before speaking again. âYou know when I left that night, I had this bad feeling. Like...that I should turn back, maybe talk things out with you. It felt like I had forgotten something and I never knew what it was and Iâve felt like that since.â His eyes were filled with tears as he finally spilled his guts after five years. âI still love you...I havenât dated anyone since, Iâve been waiting to see you again...but this changes everything.â
Goosebumps run across your skin at his words. Chewing on your lip you brought yourself to the edge of the couch resting your elbows on your knees. Holding your face you spoke again. âI know, and I know you donât have to care for us-.â A thud and the clattering of plastic stopped you mid-sentence.
You stood up at the cry of Itsuki as he tripped falling back. The thud alerted you before his cries, making you rush over to him. The moment made Izuku feel...fuzzy? Not in a good way, but not in a bad way either. It felt surreal watching you pick up his mini-me and coddle him, the way you were able to soothe the whining child amazed him. You amazed him.
You kissed the boy's head bouncing him up and down on your hip blowing raspberries on his cheek to make him laugh.
âI know this isnât your fault, but this isnât his fault either. He needs a father, he wants a father...he deserves a father.â Inko rested a hand on Izukuâs shoulder pressing her fingers in as a slight warning. âYouâre going to give him that because I said so.â
She gave her son a knowing look, a look that said, donât become your father.
Inko walked back to the kitchen, leaving Izuku to sit and watch you alone. How did you do this alone? Were you alone for all of this? Was your family even in the picture, or did they not want their fresh out of high school pregnant daughter. Did you have money? Did you have a good job? Were you living somewhere safe?
His mind was everywhere, with so many unanswered questions and possibilities. Horrible possibilities.
âIzuku?â You tapped his shoulders making him look up at you. Itsuki held onto you, curious about the new man he was meeting. âCan we do introductions?â You asked, walking on eggshells. Izukuâs eyes opened wide. Nodding he cleared his throat as you put the toddler down. You sat behind the two on the floor waiting for them to talk.
Ten hours ago you would have never imagined the scene playing out in front of you. Your son and his father. His real father, not some guy trying to get in your pants by being a bargain dad. Izuku wanted to be there, and not just for you.
It took Itsuki less than a month to get utterly attached to Izuku. You couldnât say the same for yourself. Izuku wasnât ready to forgive you, and he had that right, but it was painful. But you waited. You were still waiting.
âAre you sure?â Your voice was quiet just above a whisper as you asked Itsuki your question. This sudden new person in his life had made him lose all interest in being with you. It was like overnight you had disappeared from his life. You werenât the person he wanted to run to, you couldnât soothe his nightmares anymore, he didnât even want you to pick him up from school. He just wanted Daddy.
And who were you to tell him no. You couldnât tell him no. You had kept this part of him locked in a box for five whole years. âYes I want to stay with Daddy.â Itsuki grabbed his bag, stuffing clothes and unnecessary toys into it. You sighed, grabbing your phone begrudgingly looking for Izukuâs contact.
Clicking on his name it highlighted before soft rings accompanied you. Your phone only buzzed twice before it was answered. âY/n? Is everything okay? Is Itsuki okay?â
âOh yeah...he just wants to come over again..â You tried to hold in your disappointment as you sat on the bed making it creak. You messed with your bedding waiting for a response even if you already knew the answer. âOf course he can, just head this way, Iâll wait.â Izuku sounded ecstatic, in pure bliss, why wouldnât he be. Itâs like he became a hero all over again.
Itsuki ran ahead of you to his fathers door. Skipping and jumping forward, humming the Deku theme song, something he picked up as of late. You followed him almost in shame. Itsuki hit his fist against the door, rocking back and forth on his feet.
The front door pulled back to reveal a half asleep Izuku in flannel pants and a T-shirt. Itsuki hugged him before running in the house, you were watching him with a sad smile when you met Izukuâs eyes. âAre you alright?â
You nodded before your face fell into distress. Tears bubbled and began to overflow. Izuku rushed towards you in an instant. âHey whatâs wrong?â His hands rested on your shoulders rubbing comforting circles on them. âItsuki,â Izukuâs muscles tensed at your answer, had something happened to his son within the short time he had left, âhe loves you...so much.â
Relaxing confusion covered his face as he chuckled lightly. âIs that a bad thing?â You pouted through your tears. âNo, no of course not...but I donât think he loves me anymoreâŠâ Izuku quirked an eyebrow up before bringing his hand under your chin. âWhy would you think that?â Opening your mouth to explain he stopped you. âItsuki loves you, all he ever talks about is you. How he wants to make you happyâŠâ
Taken back you bit down on your lip. Tears were still running down your face. Izuku wiped them away as they came before bringing you in with a hug. His grip was tight, you couldnât even extend your own arms out to return the hug, but you welcomed the warmth. You welcomed the reassurance and gratitude he poured out to you. Izuku wasn't necessarily your missing piece, but more of a support beam. âI think Itsuki just needs to get used to having both of us in his life and to help with thatâŠâ
Pulling away his scarred hands held your face, his skin was rough and gentle all at once. His eyes were still wide and doe-like and his face held the constellations of your world. â...I think Iâm ready to try again, if you are.â
For the first time that night your smile was full of happiness , wrapping your arms around him you squeezed him tight. âIâd love to.â

Part one. Master list for plus one can be found here.
Just a nice fic I decided to write for fun. Please enjoy!
Asshole!
He was nothing but a huge, giant fucking ASSHOLE for the entire two years the two of you were dating and he decides NOW is a good time to break up with you?
Two days before your cousin's wedding and over TEXT MESSAGE?!
That fucking asshole.
He knew how you felt. Exactly how you felt about going alone to your cousin's wedding after your family begged to meet your boyfriend and teased you for "probably making him up." Which hell, he may as well have been made up considering how absent he was in the relationship. Using work as an excuse to come home late but forgetting to turn off his snap location when he showed up at the bar.
So you did what any rational woman in her upper twenties would do.
You drowned your sorrows in booze, tonight red wine as it was the only thing around, and you scrolled through your socials in hopes of distracting yourself from your suffering.
Alas the devil that is Instagram only amplified your sadness and irritation. Showing couple after couple, your friends on hikes kissing on the mountain top, kissing in the flickering light of candles at a fancy dinner or, worst yet, getting proposed to. The video showing her in hysterics screaming, "YES I DO I DO!"
And it feels terrible to feel this way. Especially about your friends, the people you love and want to support, still it stings. You hadn't told anyone about the breakup, you weren't even sure your friends even remembered that asshole's name.
A teardrop lands on your screen, magnifying all the magical lights of the led beneath the glad. You wipe away the tear and with that the feed refreshes. A new post has come in at the top, Res Riot's official account.
Kirishima stands with a fat white cat in his arms. He dwarfs the animal with his large stature that looks larger as he still has his Red Riot gear on. The caption reads something along the lines of "missed my precious baby."
Red wine is a dangerous thing as your body acts on its own. You go to his page to hit the little arrow to DM him. Typing out and backspacing your message as you struggle from the booze, you decide to say fuck it and use the voice memo feature. Before you know it your sniffling voice is playing back to you after you've hit send.
"My ex broke up with me before this stupid wedding. It's in two days and my family is going to roast me big time when I show up alone. They think I made that asshole up. I don't know why I'm even in your dms. Your account is probably run by some dick head who can't even capture your kindness. I guess I'm here cause my first thought seeing you on my timeline was Red Riot has always been my heroâŠ"
Ugh totally fucking cringe.
There is no surprise as you see the three normally ominous dots pop up, probably his social media manager about to ask you to stop your "advances" as Kirishima is too busy to date and he'd hate to block you or some other bullshit.
But there it is a surprise to see a little bubble with the play button and some vertical lines in various heights. It takes your sluggish brain a moment to realize you've been sent a voice memo. Odd. Your thumb smashes the screen faster than you can think and a deep voice rumbles through the speakers of your phone.
"Actually I run my official and personal socials. And I'm sorry to hear about your ex doll. He sounds like a real ass. I'll be your hero, I'll go with you to the wedding."
Your heart stutters, no way, no way in HELL this was Red Riot. You had read about the horror stories before or pervy account managers taking advantage of women who so desperately wanted to talk to their hero.
Hell, it's happened to Dynamight plenty of times.
You swallow quickly but the bile rushes up your throat. Not just from the anxiety of a possible con but from drinking an entire bottle of wine with nothing on your stomach after months of sobriety. Quickly you stumble to the bathroom, abandoning your phone on your bed. You barely make it in time to praise the porcelain Gods before you fall onto your back. Looking up at the light in your cramped bathroom, the orb doubles and spins as you feel the Earth turning on its axis. You curl into your side using your bathmat as a pillow as you drift off into sleep, totally forgetting about the voice memo on your phone.
As you sleep peacefully on your memory foam bath rug, Kirishima settles into his nightly routine. One giant hand grabbing strands of long dark red hair into a towel while another sits snugly around his Adonis belt and the thick, black happy trail that follows up the center of his abs before spreading out onto his chest. He tosses the towel over the open door of the bathroom before sitting in his favorite armchair with phone in hand. Diamond, his beautiful white cat he rescued a few years ago, jumps onto the arm of the chair, purring loudly when Kirishima's free hand scratches her ears absentmindedly.
He chuckles to himself as he realizes exactly what he's done. Acting on a feeling instead of logic all because he heard a "damsel in distress." Starting off his rare vacation with spontaneity starting with an impromptu date with a stranger. He really isn't sure what you look like and it's obvious your handle doesn't have your real name in it, just PrincessPeach with some random numbers at the end. He takes the time to scroll through your profile. Seeing pictures of food, of many sunsets, a friend's dog that guest appears often, your own cat and plenty of strays.
It takes him a while before he sees a photo of you. His heart stutters in his chest as he looks you over. Laughing with a friend, soft lighting from strings over head that blur like little fireflies. Your smile is wide, half hidden by your hands as your eyes seem to smile with you. Sparkling as if they held stars.
For a moment Kirishima forgets how to breathe, it isn't until Diamond jumps down from the armchair does he inhale. He smiles softly to himself before he drops his towel, puts his phone on charge and promptly falls asleep in his bed.
Kirishima rises before the sun even has a chance to filter through his blinds. He sighs softly, getting up to a sitting position disturbing a fluffy white ball that lays beside him.
"Mmrow." Moon stone eyes blink slowly as they look at the mountainous man hogging the bed.
"I didn't mean to wake you sweet baby." He says softly, going to pet the soft white fur only for her to get up stretch and give him her butt before plopping back down.
"I know, mean ol' daddy woke you up too early again." He says softly, his hand falling onto her back before he rises from the bed. Fishing for his running shorts, socks, headphones and shoes. He makes his protein shake, leaning on the counter as he drinks it, looking at how you read, or better yet, listened to his message but still no reply. It was late and there was a small slurring of your words, he figures you've passed out. He just hopes you're okay.
His run goes as usual, up before anyone else unless they were the normal avid runner. Passing by the usual array of people. An old man holding onto his youth by jogging through his daily five mile morning run, Kirishima knows he runs another five in the evening while the sun is setting. He hopes he can embody some of this man's commitment when he is older. Then he passes a middle aged woman, who gives him the biggest smile as she pases, jogging backward to send him a wink before plowing ahead. Occasionally he'll see a running group or a few teens training to be heroes, they always ask if they can run his route. "It's long." He always warns in a kind, warm voice. They assure him they will be fine so far only one other person could handle his 12 mile morning run. A young woman in her second year of hero courses at UA. Since then Kirishima put in a word with his boss and so every time internships roll around she's in the office.
By the time Kirishima is rounding back towards his high rise apartment, the city begins to stir. Slowly waking as men and women in business suits rush towards the train, parents flinging open the doors or curtains fussing at their children who cling to an extra few minutes of sleep before school.
This was always his favorite part of the run, not because it was almost over, oh no it was because he had a chance to glimpse at everyday life. Of nine to fives, of school hours and after school hangs outs at snack bars or the library.
What most would call the mundane but Kirishima would never call it that. It's why he worked so hard to protect it.
Diamond greets his sweaty form at the door. Glaring angrily with her moon stone eyes. Tail swishing before she goes to the kitchen by her bowl. Waiting impatiently.
"I'm not late, sweet cheeks." He coos, and she glares, "I know I know. You're hungry now."
He opens the fridge, gets out the highest quality food there is and places it on her dish, sure to keep it all in the middle or she'll claim her bowl was empty. He added a splash of water too since the weather was starting to get hot.
He sucks down a water or two, demolishes a protein bar and then heads to the apartment gym.
A few hours roll by and without hearing from you yet his worry over your well being begins to cloud the forefront of his mind. He pauses his music, picks up his phone and talks out a voice memo.
A loud DING echoes from your room and around your skull as you rise with a throbbing headache.
"Fuck." You hiss to yourself grabbing at your head as you shakily rise to your feet. Yanking the handle of the faucet to drink from the stream before looking at yourself in the mirror.
"Ugh." You grunt ignoring your swollen face and eyes, yanking the mirror door open to snatch at the bottle of aspirin. Swallowing THREE extra strength pills before slamming the door shut and turning off the faucet. You make your way towards your bedroom, more than ready to sleep the rest of your day away. Grabbing at your phone to charge it you see the push notification of an Instagram message from Red Riot.
The fucking Red Riot.
Internally you scream before it bubbles up your throat and escapes. You fumble to unlock your phone before looking that it's a voice memo.
Mortified you realize you sent one too. And first at that.
"Fuck MEEE!" You plop onto the bed. Nervous this second voice memo is probably about how you're a weirdo or something as you relive the memory of asking him to be your plus one.
Hesitantly your thumb hovers over the play button before you find the strength to press the cool glass. A soft thunderous voice plays out.
"Good morning sleepy head. I haven't heard from you yet, I hope you're okay. Be sure to drink some water and eat something greasy. Trust me, late nights with Denki and Bakugou taught me something. Since the wedding is tomorrow I'll need a picture of your dress for the color and style so I can match you Sweet pea. Contact me soon so I can know where to pick you up."
Did he⊠did he just call you SWEET PEA? Your heart pounds in your chest before it registers he's asked for your dress color and lowkey asked for your address. This couldn't be real. It sounded like Kirishima, his voice familiar from interviews you've watched but it very well could be a prank. Defeated you hit the small microphone and reply.
Kirishima hears a sharp DING in his headphones over his music as he finishes his set. He wipes the sweat from his face on his shirt giving the few people in the gym a lovely view of his sweaty and thick torso. One woman trips on the treadmill but it goes unnoticed by Kirishima. He pauses his music and hits play on the little memo. Your beautiful yet groggy voice comes in through his ear buds causing Kirishima to bite his lip. It causes such a flutter of butterflies in his stomach he has to listen a second time to actually hear what you said. Although he understand, he cannot help but feel hurt by your reply.
"How do I know you're not just some pervy guy using Kirishima's Godly looks to prey on unsuspecting people."
Your phone chirps at you from the bed stand and you growl reaching for it. You had hoped your message would have been clear. An unspoken of you know they're a fucking creep taking advantage of their PR job.
"What can I do to prove it to you, Sweet Pea?"
You hate how that cute nickname sends your heart into a somersault and your stomach in delightful knots. Still your doubt pulls a harsh tut from your lips before you reply.
Kirishima doesn't need his phone to alert him that you've messaged him, he's been looking at his screen for far to long without having to restart his set. He listens to your voice as if it were music.
"Fine, you wanna prove it to me so bad. Take a picture of yourself shirtless with the word 'Sweet pea' you love so much and send it to me. No photoshop I know what my favorite hero looks like!"
For over an hour you don't hear back and you figure you showed that perv.
But now you can't sleep so you nurse a water, door dash a "greasy" breakfast all before cranking your shower as high as it can go. Your phone dings and you try to ignore it. You really do but as the saying goes curiosity killed the cat. Opening the message you see a classic guy mirror selfie. Kirishima is clear as day in the photo, his large hand pointing to his bare, hairy chest where sweat pea is scrawled in his adorable handwriting. He winks at the camera as his kissable lips wear a dangerous, almost cocky eyes travel down his bulk following his happy trail that dives under a pair of black shorts, the best part of the view getting cut off by the vanity. At first you try to rationalize that this was fake but damning evidence was sitting on the vanity. A fluffy white cat in a diamond and ruby encrusted collar sits on the counter giving her owner an odd look.
His cat Diamond that everyone knows he loves and adores. Slick begins to collect between your thighs and especially so after you listen to the voice memo that comes through shortly after. His normally friendly and soft voice comes out a bit dark, husky as he says in a playfully annoyed tone.
"Now send me a picture of that dress, Sweet Pea."
Who would've thought we would end up like this?
I'm watching your back as you walk away. You're watching the sidewalk disappear under your feet as they carry you away from me. You told me it was over, that we weren't meant to be.
But you can't tell me we weren't meant to be.
Those 3 a.m phone calls that lasted until 5 a.m when our alarms when off for work. The early morning coffee runs where we could barely function with our eyes shut closed from exhaustion. The burnt food the first few home dinner dates that made us gag and order take out, our sides aching from laughing so hard at the horrible flavor.
The crying and emotional times. The ups and downs as we would argue over the stupidest things and apologize for the smallest things. Cuddling close under the blankets when I felt too cold and you were too warm but you never wanted to let me go. Pulling me close by my belt loops to place a soft, gentle kiss on my lips.
When I would pack extra food for your lunch so I knew you were full and happy. The notes I would leave with a kiss mark in my signature lip gloss so you could have a kiss during the rough hour at work.
The way would be drawn to each other in a crowded room because we knew we would pick the other first and always pick each other before anyone else because our world's revolved around one another and being forced apart sometimes caused catastrophic events, but we would always find a way together.
So how could we have ended up like this?
Maybe it was the late night phone calls becoming too much. Perhaps the need of a coffee just to meet up at the beginning of the day was too demanding as we weren't always willing and it soon felt like a chore. The different restaurants we would try instead of cooking now left a horrible taste in my mouth because how can I go back there without you?
Was it the sneaking around? Was it the lying? Was it the girl from the office down the street how seemed to pull you in with the slightest of touch and smallest whisper in your ear when you thought I wasn't listening or paying attention?
Why did you call me controlling and dramatic when I just worry for you coming home late or not at all without a single text to let me know you were safe.
The way I would try new lipsticks or glosses to catch your attention again but it couldn't compare to the color she wore that I found on the collar of your shirt as I clutched it crying in silence.
Maybe she was the reason we ended up here.

"Oh hey Eraser Head! What's going on?" Fatgum answered his phone while sitting at his desk in his office at Fatgum Agency. "Fatgum, Midoriya and Togata have requested for Eri to be present at our School Festival, seeing as how Eri has bonded with Aki, do you think she'd be willing to join her on that day?" Aizawa questioned, standing outside Eri's hospital room where the young girl was currently having her lunch.
Fatgum pondered for a moment,"Well I don't see why she couldn't. I guess she could use a break too, between her assignments and being with Eri at the hospital, I'm sure she'd love it!" "Alright, I'll be sure to let the class know so they don't freak out. Speaking of, only Amajiki and the others in the Big Three have met Aki right? She was away on another assignment when Work Studies happened," Aizawa knew his students would probably freak out when seeing Eri's caregiver and friend, who was the same age as them but on a whole other level.
"You're correct, so Kirishima hasn't met her. It'll be fine though, I have full confidence that everything will be fine," Fatgum smiled into the phone, nonchalant about anything going on. "Alright, we'll discuss details later then," with that the two hung up.
~~~
"Oh hey Togata!" Midoriya called out to Togata, waving him over from where Togata was hiding behind the bush. Togata narrowed his eyes, realizing he'd been found out before he can surprise them.
The dance team looked on in surprise as Togata stuck his bottom out from the bush, Eri standing beside him looking surprised as well, "Hey guys! I brought a PEACH for ya,"
"Eri!" Midoroya called out as he, Uraraka and Tsuyu ran up to greet them. "That dress looks so cute," Tsuyu commented, "You are precious!" Uraraka gushing in fondness. The girls couldn't help the big smiles on their faces.
"Midoriya, I finally got permission from the Principle," Togata climbed out of the bush and began brushing off his pants as Aizawa spoke, "in order for her to not get stressed, we're allowing her to roam around today before the Festival, also there's someone you all need to meet as well,"
The other dance team members came forward to introduce themselves to the young girl. "Well hello there, you must be Eri, I'm Iida, nice to meet you," "Wassup I'm Mineta, man you're gonna be a looker when you're older huh~" Mineta smirked, but the young girl hid behind Togata, "I want Aki,"
The name had taken them by surprise, "Aki? Whose that?" Midoriya questioned, confusion written on the Work Study kids faces. "Oh right, you haven't met her yet. Aki is Eri's caregiver, well when she's not on Assignments for Fatgum," Togata explained, "Eri can be a little shy around new people, but her and Aki get along very well,"
"Its perfectly alright to be shy," Iida commented, softening his voice to not scare Eri further. "Let's start the tour! Aki should be here soon, so I wanna show her as much of the school as I can so she can see what we do here, you wanna come along too Midoriya?" Togata extended the offer, knowing that since Aki isn't here, Eri might be calm with Midoriya around too. "You bet!" "Hey Dance Team! New idea!" Kirishima's voice broke out, before realizing Eri was there.
"Oh hey Eri! Wait, we've never been officially introduced," Kirishima crouched down to meet Eri's gaze when another voice broke out.
"I'm so sorry I'm late, someone decided to rob a gas station on the way over and I couldn't just leave the situation," it was a soft, silky voice that came from behind Aizawa. The students all turned their attention to see a young dark skinned girl about their age.
Her hair was a dark auburn red that came to below her shoulder blades, soft waves accentuating her purple eyes that seemed to have a swirl of white in them but were framed with thin gold wired glasses. Freckles dawned her nose and cheeks that were flushed with red, giving her an innocent look. What caught their attention the most was the Ram horns that protuded from her head, her legs being Ran legs with red fur like her hair but black hooves. Her outfit consisted of a off the shoulder wool dress she seemed to be wearing that came to stop at her upper thighs, a bell was wrapped around her neck and jingled everytime she moved, of course it also brought attention to her chest that was framed by the wool.
Some of the boys blushed, and Kirishima found himself entranced by her. "Aki!" Eri exclaimed, walking over to the girl who crouched down to her height, "I missed you!" Eri reached her arms out to her, Aki smiling and welcoming the girl into her arms, "I missed you too," giving Eri a nuzzle as the girls closed their eyes and embraced eachother.
"So you're Aki! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Midoroiya smiled, the class seemingly broken from the momentary shock. "The pleasure is all mine! Thank you for what you did for Eri, I would've been on the assignment too if Papa hadn't sent me on a different one," Aki greeted, before realizing she needed to properly introduce herself.
Standing up, Eri still in her arms as she bowed, "I'm sorry! My name is Toyomitsu Aki, it's so nice to meet you all, please call me Aki!" Straightening up, Eri wrapped her arms around Aki as rested her head on Aki's shoulder.
"Wait, Toyomitsu? Why does that sound familiar?" Kirishima wondered aloud, rubbing his head as if it would bring the answer to him. "WAIT I KNOW YOU!" Midoriya yelled out, eyes growing wide as he pointed toward Aki,"YOU'RE RAM-RAM, THE YOUNGEST PERSON TO EVER BECOME A HERO, YOU'RE ALSO FATGUMS DAUGHTER!" Now the students outside all yelled in shock, "WHAT!?"
"Oops, guess the cats out of the bag," Togata laughed, Aizawa just shaking his head in embarrassment from his students. "WAIT, you're really Fatgum's daughter!? Why didn't I know this!" Kirishima cried out, his head a mess knowing the girl he found cute was actually his Mentors daughter.
"Yeah, Papa adopted me when I was a baby, I hope this doesn't affect us becoming friends?" Aki smiled nervously, her small tail twitching in anticipation. "No way! That's so cool, let's take a break everyone, it's tea time!" Mina chimed in, hoping to calm everyone down from the excitement, "There will be more time to explain later, get on with the tour, we don't have time to waste," Aizawa called out, Togata and Aki nodding as Midoriya went to go change his clothes really quick.
"So if you're Fatgums daughter, you must know Amajiki right?" Kirishima questioned, trying to push through his nerves in front of the pretty Ram girl. He was determined to get to know his Mentors daughter. "Definitely! Tama-Kun is so nice, I love going on assignments with him, especially when he shares his food with me like Papa," Aki gushed, her red cheeks getting even darker with excitement, a closed eye smile making Kirishimas cheeks match hers in color. "My name is Kirishima Eijiro, my hero name is Red Riot, I'm actually a new intern at your father's agency for my Work Study," He introduced himself, holding out a hand in greeting.
Aki's jaw dropped and sparkles seemed to erupt from no where, "NO WAY! Papa has told me all about Red Riot, your name is a play off of Crimson Riot right!? I love that, he's such an amazing Hero!" Aki rambled, Kirishima feeling himself fall even harder.
Togata chuckled and took Eri from Aki, who was so engrossed in her conversation she didn't even seem to notice the weight lifted from her arms. Eri looked between the two red heads and noticed that Aki looks so happy, like when she finds a good object to chew on, then again anything was good to chew on for Aki.
"Totally manly right! Hey, are you gonna be here for our School Festival? It'll be totally killer, we're putting on a performance!" "Of course, I'll be chapperoning Eri that day so we won't miss it," The two had seemed to have fallen into their own little world, the other students just watching in amazement.
"I don't think I've seen Kirishima this excited before," Tsuyu commented, Uraraka and Mina nodding in agreement. "Oh jeez, he's got it bad," Ojiro laughed, Mineta seething from the mouth that he didn't get to touch the pretty animal girl. "He's got what?" Shoji asked, looking to Ojiro for answers, although Hagakure answered instead, "Kirishima is totally falling for Aki! What better romance is that!? An employee and the Bosses daughter? It's so forbidden but romantic!" Hagakure couldn't contain her excitement and started to swoon, Mina grabbing her shoulders as she tries to balance her friend.
"Hey Aki! Let's get this show on the road!" Togata called out, waving his arm to grab her attention. "Oh, coming MiMi-Kun! I guess I should go, we'll talk again soon, right?" Aki questioned, taking Kirishimas hands into her own, a bright smile on her face as her eyes seemed to sparkle. Kirishima felt his face warm up, but nodded, a nervous smile on his face from how close she was,"Definitely, we can meet up sometime at the agency maybe,"
"See ya later," she giggled, walking over and taking Eri's hand into her own. Kirishima could only watch with his heart beating out of his chest as the beautiful girl left, when he felt a hand on his back slap him forward, "OH MY GOSH KIRISHIMA, YOU'RE SO LUCKY, YOU SLY THING YOU!" Mina exclaimed, repeatedly hitting him in her excitement. "Way to go dude," Ojiro laughed, the rest of the students all smiling and calling out their support for him. "Come guys this is so not manly," he whined, embarrassed having realized they watched him and Aki. Yet he smiled and couldn't help but think 'Maybe this Festival will be good,'
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Walking around the school seemed to excite Eri and Aki, both wondering how all the different classes worked and what each class would put on for the School Festival.
Meeting up with Amajiki and Hado excited Aki to the point of her having steam come out of her nose in puffs, "Tama-Kun!Nene-chan!" She called out to them, Nejire flying over in greeting as they began to discuss the beauty pagent in detail and how Nejire was going to win this year.
"Hey! Maybe you should join Aki! I bet you'd be a shoe in for runner up!!" Hado squealed, wanting the girl who was like a little sister to join in on the fun. "Oh I'd live to Nene-chan but I'm not a student here," Aki smiled, though Midoriya thought her smile seemed a little forced, "plus I wouldn't wanna ruin your chances by competing, I'll be sure to cheer you on though!" Aki grinned, giving Hado two thumbs up who returned it. Eri looking between the two and then to her hands, mimicking them but smaller, though everyone swooned.
After visiting the Support Class last, they went to Lunch Rush's in the cafeteria to give Eri somthing to eat to finalize the tour. "Well that's all of U.A!" "What did you think of our School Eri?" Midoriya questioned, Eri though looked unsure, "I..I don't know," both boys looked at eachother nervously, but Aki smiled at her which gave Eri enough courage to continue, "But I can see how hard everyone is working, so I do wanna see how it turns out," Aki gave her a grin, proud of Eri for trying to speak out more and explain her thoughts and feelings.
At the end of the day, they returned Midoriya to Heights Alliance and said goodbye. "We'll be back on the day of the festival," Togata explained, pumping his arm in excitement, "So make sure it's killer,"
As they went to leave, Aki spoke up, "I will catch up with you in a moment MiMi-Kun, I wanna ask Midoriya somthing really quick," Togata nodded and escorted Eri out.
"What is it Aki? Is everything okay?" Aki stared at him for a second, before her eyes sharpened and it made him jump back, "What is your deal with Eri? What are you hoping to gain?" "W-what?" Midoriya was taken back, 'How can such a sweet and cute girl get terrifying to quickly!?'
"You seem very focused on making her happy. Why? I don't want anyone near Eri who was bad intentions," "It's not like that! When we found Eri that first time, I was so upset we couldn't do anything. I beat myself up everytime I think about it, I wanna be a hero that saves people with a smile. But Eri hasn't smiled once, so I wanna help her smile. I wanna help her become a child again, especially after what she went through," Midoriya was firm with his answer, now staring Aki back in the eyes, hoping to show her the true meaning of his intentions.
Aki suddenly smiled, sparkles surrounding her like with Kirishima earlier, "Okie dokie. I hope your goals come true," Midoriya sweat dropped, 'How bipolar can she be?' Aki then bit her lip nervously, arms behind her back as she shuffled, "I do have one more question, more of a favor though,"
This caught him by surprise, "Sure, what is it?" Holding out a folded up paper, she asked, "Can you give this to Kiri-kun for me?" "Huh!? KIRISHIMA!?" "Y-Yes, I know this sounds silly but.. he's very cute," Aki admitted, her face turning red and her tail stub swished back and forth.
"U-uh sure, I can give this to him. Wouldn't you wanna give it to him in person though," "I-I don't know..I don't wanna over step," "Nonsense, come on,"
With that Midoriya led her inside, the rest of the class unwinding in the main sitting area, though they looked in surprise with the girl in tow with Midoriya. "Hello again!" Mina greeted, "Guys this is Toyomitsu Aki, she's Eri's caregiver," Midoriya introduced the girl, her bowing to the class with a smile.
"Hello everyone, so pleased to meet you," her smile made them all flushed, 'SO CUTE'. "So what are you doing here? Is everything okay?" Jirou questioned, "I-I was hoping to speak to u-uh..Kirishima-kun," Aki was embarrassed, now noticing how many people were staring at her intensely.
"Did someone call me? Oh hey Aki! What's up?" Kirishima questioned, having just walked out of the kitchen, but smiled big when he saw the beautiful girl from this morning.
"H-hi! I just wanted to u-uh, give this to you," stumbling over her words, she tried to act relaxed but was dying on the inside and outside. "O-Oh, thanks," Kirishima blushed, taking the folded up note from her out stretched hand, when their fingers touched however they both jumped apart and their faces burned red.
Of course, Mineta took this time to try and sneak up behind the girl. Reaching his hand out to flip the bottom of her dress, mumbling on how it was so short, it'd be a crime to not go through with it. Thankfully, Kirishima took notice and pulled her to him, hardening his hand as he punched him away, "KNOCK IT OFF," He growled, holding Aki close in his left arm.
Aki shivered, noticing how his muscles squeezed her like she'd dissappear if he let her go. Tapping his chest, he realized he was holding her and jumped back, "I'm so sorry! He can just never keep his hands to himself and it'd be so unmanly if me to not step in," Kirishima freaked out, waving his hands and trying to plead his case. He froze though when Aki walked up and gave him a kiss on the cheek, "It's alright, thanks for being my Hero," she winked, suddenly finding some courage in his embarrassment. "I'll see you at the festival like we talked about earlier, right?" Aki asked, let her hands rest on his chest, "U-Uh YYEaH Suree," his voice cracked, his whole mind running in auto pilot. "Awesome, I'll see you then," she turned on her hoof and began walking toward the exit, she looked over to the class in a whole and waved goodnight before exiting Heights Alliance.
A loud thud made everyone turn toward where Kirishima was, noticing he'd fallen over, his eyes swirling and a giant grin in his red face. "Aki's so cute," he chucked, Kaminari and Sero whooping for him while Iida lectured about proper PDA in the presence of others. All Kirishina knew is that the festival couldn't come soon enough.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the day of the festival, Aki and Eri sat in the back if a taxi has Togata sat up front and was going over the schedule for the day. "We'll catch 1-As performance, then race over to 1-B for their play, then it'll be lunch and the pagent, does that sound alright?" He turned to face the horned girls in the back, Eri's outfit was a cute red and white dress while Aki wore her usual wool dress only this time it was red to compliment her hair.
"Sounds great, we can probably catch 1-A setting up before they perform," "oo~you just wanna catch Kirishima before he performs, maybe to wish him luck~" Togata teased, Aki gritting her teeth and raising her hood, kicking him in the back if the head leaving a hoof print, "Hehe, nevermind," Togata smiled, Eri looking up at Aki, "Do you like Kirishima?" "U-uh well, I admire him so to say," Aki tripped over her words as Togata laughed at her misfortune.
Once they'd arrived at the school, Aki mentioned she was going to see Nejire before 1-A to wish her luck before she got ready.
"Nene-chan, are you in here?" Aki knocked, hearing a lot of voices from inside the dressing room. Opening the door, Aki was met with Hado, Yuyu, and a few other students. "Oh sorry, I just wanted to come wish you luck," Aki smiled, holding her hands together in front of her.
"Ram-Ram!?" The other students exclaimed, shocked that a young hero would show up here. "Oh hello! Wonderful to meet you," she bowed, greeting them as they momentarily freaked out before bowing back.
"Hey hey! What're you doing here Aki? Where's Eri? Or Togata?" "They went to go see 1-A real quick, I was about to go see them, just wanted to see you first," Aki sheepishly explained, Testutestu suddenly appeared in front of the girls face making her lean back in surprise.
"Wait a second are you that girl Kirishima is always talking about!? The pretty red haired Ram girl that is Fatgums daughter!" Aki flushed hearing the red haired boys name.
"Well it's nice to know he thinks of me," she said happily, before looking at the clock, "I've gotta go, I hope everything goes good for you girls!" She cheered, waving as she walked out leaving the others stunned, "Why does Kirishima always get the good opportunities," Testutestu cried out, falling to his knees depressed that a beautiful girl like that was already taken by Kirishima.
~~~
"Hey! I'm not too late am I?" Aki called out, running up to the 1-A group. "Oh Ram-Ram! Welcome," Yamomo greeted, fiddling with her keyboard to make sure it was on the right setting. "We've still got about twenty minutes until we go on, Midoriya should've been back by now, he went to go get rope earlier," Kirishima mentioned, cheeks going a light pink at facing Aki again.
"Well I'm sure it'll be amazing, are you doing special affects?" Aki questioned, leaning close into Kirishimas personal space, "Y-Yeah, I hope you'll enjoy them," he smiled, running a hand through his hair. "HEY SHITTY HAIR, LETS GO WE AINT GOT ALL DAY!" Bakugou yelled out then realized Kirishima was talking to a girl.
"Hey Sheep Ass! What're you doing in here?! Don't be trying to pull anything dammit," Bakugou seethed, his teeth gritting together in annoyance of a new person.
"I was just wishing you guys luck," Aki began to ring her hands nervously, "Well we don't need luck! We'll kick ass either way dammit!" Bakugou exclaimed, getting in her face. Aki decided he needed to calm down and quit yelling.
Ramming her head into his stomach, Bakugou lurched forward coughing as he fell to the ground holding his stomach,"Damn Ram Bitch. What the fuck was that for," he gasped, rolling around on the floor in pain. "I didn't appreciate you being in my face," she calmly spoke, turning to Kirishima again who looked at her in awe at her strength.
"I'll leave you to it, you'll do amazing," her lips pressed to his cheek again, although this time they grazed the corner of his mouth slightly. Giggling she turned and left the room.
Silence ticked by for a second before Kirishima belted out, "GUYS THIS HAS TO BE AMAZING, TOP NOTCH MANLY," He hardened up without knowing, the others in the class around him sweat dropping at the sudden mood change.
~~~
As the curtains opened and a deafening explosion happened, Aki smiled as Jirou started her song, the dancers and musicians knocking it out of the ball park all at once.
The beat had Aki dancing in place, Togata laughing at her as Eri watched in surprise of Midoroiya dancing, well at least until he went off stage for some reason. "He left," "He'll be back, let's keep watching," Togata assured her, the music still blaring into their ears.
The song kept continuing to grow in progress when all of a sudden a lot of special effects went off, Uraraka swinging out to the crowd and lifting some audience members off the ground, one of them being Aki who laughed and brought Eri with her who couldn't hold it in any longer, throwing her arms out and laughing, a giant smile on her face. Aki and Togata had tears in their eyes as they smiled, knowing this young girl had finally broken free from her shackles of a pervious life. Aki hugged her tight before spinning in a circle with her, both girls laughing together in glee as Togata cheered them on. The song came to an end as the audience screamed and cheered, Aki and Eri now holding onto Togata as the three of them embraced in a hug. Eri had finally smiled and it made the two older ones warm with happiness.
As the gym filled out, the three met up with Midoriya on his way back in, Togata congratulating him on a job well done. "It was so crazy! First there was a loud sound and it was scary, but then everyone started jumping, even Aki was dancing and then Deku you went away for a little bit. But then there was a spinning guy and it started to get cold and I saw a lot of birds and people went "Wow" and you know what I said? Wow too!" Eri rambled on, her arms being thrown everywhere in excitement as Togata and Aki copied her from her side. "It was so much fun! Especially when Aki flew in the air with me and we danced," Eri stopped when she noticed Midioriya getting tears in his eyes, "I'm so glad you had fun Eri," this caused Eri to smile wide at him, Aki not able to hold it in anymore and swooped her up, spinning in circles as both girls laughed together. The boys looking on with their own smiles.
Heading outside, they met up with some of the boys that were melting the ice. "Ah dang this ice is too big, hey Bakugou can you-" "Kick Force!" A voice cut off Kaminari as a blur of red jumped in the air and came down on the giant block of ice, breaking it into little pieces. "Whoa!" Peoole passing by stopped and stared, Aki standing up and fixing her glasses. "Is this okay?" She asked, tilting her head with a smile.
"Hey its Ram-Ram!" "I didn't know she'd be here!" "She's so cute!" Voices came from behind her, causing her to turn over her shoulder and smile at the students and give a wave causing them all to flush red from the adorableness.
"Hey Aki! How'd you like the show?" Kirishima asked, hands on his hips, but he quickly put them put to catch Aki who jumped at him, landing in his arms as hers went around his neck that was turning red, "It was so amazing! The lighting, the music, the dancing, it was so beautiful! The affects were so awesome too! It was a rush of adrenaline for sure," Aki couldn't help but gush over the performance, Kirishima grinning and twirled her around, cheeks still flushed, "THAT'S GREAT! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it! I did happen to catch you dancing a few moves too," he winked, catching her off guard but she laughed and nodded, finally getting set back in the ground.
Togata watched for a second before smirking, "You know we still have about two hours or so before the pagent, why don't you show Aki the rest of the festival Kirishima!" Aki and Kirishima turned bright red, but both agreed to it as the rest of the class came out to begin their own sight seeing if the festival too. Kirishima grabbed Aki's hand and began to drag her out of sight, she looked back over her shoulder to see Togata and Eri waving to her, both smiling as she disappeared from sight.
Both red heads walked around, looking at all the different food vendors and games, before coming upon the High Striker game, where you bring the hammer down to ring the bell and win a prize. They went to walk past it before Aki noticed fluffy Ram and Shark plushies. Kirishima looked to her and then the prizes before waking up to the student running it. "Hey dude! What do you have to do to win those two?" Pointing to the plushies Aki was eyeing. "You've gotta ring the high bell, you only get one try though," the student informed, gesturing to the tallest one they had which looked to be about fifty feet high. Kirishima grabbed the hammer, Aki stopping him momentarily, "You don't have to do that Kiri-Kun" she informed, but he shook his head, "It wouldn't be very manly of me to not win a pretty girl the plushies she wants, so just sit back and watch," he grinned at her before turning his attention to the game in front of him. He hardened his body as he swung the hammer up and brought it down full force, the little rod shooting straight up and knocking into the bell, denting it but ringing it nonetheless.
Aki cheered in amazement as Kirishima was handed the two plushies, the student behind the counter complaining to himself about needing a new bell now. Aki was handed both but then looked to Kirishima and handed him back the Ram one. "Seems only fair you get one too, right," she giggled, Kirishima smiling and nodding, taking Aki's free hand into his again as they continued down the path. Both could agree that this was probably the best day ever.
~~~
Standing at the gate to see the three off, Aki and Kirishima stared at each other for a minute before smiling softly to one another. "I'm glad you could join us, maybe you can come back another time?" Kirishima asked, hopeful he'd get to see her again, preferably outside of Work Studies and School. "Mmm, I don't know. I have my assignments and taking care of Eri too," Aki admitted, her purple eyes staring into his Ruby red eyes that were full of hope.
"Actually, I guess it's alright to tell you that you'll be seeing everyone alot more. We're planning on moving Eri into the dorms here, to keep a better eye on her and her progress with her quirk. Of course, her care taker is gonna have to be with her," Aizawas voice cut in, making both teens turn toward him in shock before turning back to each other.
Kirishima whooped and picked up Aki, spinning her around as they both laughed, setting her back in the ground, he blurted out, "Would you like to go out sometime?!" He realized what he said and burned red, but kept his eyes trained on her shocked face but she soon smiled shyly and nodded, "I'd love to, maybe you can show me a nice Cafe around here?" She asked, Kirishima nodding as he took out his phone to get her number so they can plan it for the day she comes back.
Aizawa and Togata watched the two as Midoriya and Eri said goodbye a little ways to the side, "I'm gonna regret this aren't I," Aizawa sighed, feeling the need to go to bed after such a long day, "Awe come on Eraser Head, it's cute," Aizawa merely shook his head, turning to walk off, "Some School Festival this turned out be," Togata only laughed and called out, "I'm pretty sure you mean Love Festival!"

Hiiiii. Hope you enjoyed it. Let me know your thoughts! I know some people don't like OCs that much but I thought I'd give it a try.
đđâ€
Ughh my heart is breaking because I can imagine it becomes the talk of the castle a year later when the new prince that was born has striking red eyes thay resemble a certain guard who may or may not have snuck into your chamber when you caught your new King in bed with a concubine so if he can fool around why can't you? Especially with the man you truly love.
More fic ideas that I have absolutely no intention of writing.
Knight Bakugou whoâs positioned to guard you. The King wants the best to protect his Princess, and Bakugou is the best. Besides, itâs not like the man had a choice, he doesnât want to lose his jobâ or his life.
You hate to admit that Bakugou is good at his job, much better than the men that had tried to guard you before. Making it difficult for you to sneak out into the gardens in the evening to watch the stars, or to sneak into town for the weekend festivities.
You should hate him for ruining the routine youâd managed to work yourself into over the years, for stealing away the freedom that youâd rewarded yourself when no one else would offer you the same luxury. But somehow you canât force yourself to dislike him, thereâs something behind his cold and brash personality that has you inquisitive to find out more. Enjoying trying your best to rile him up or push his buttonsâ spilling your evening tea over his pristine boots, or dropping your towel in front of him when you prepare for your evening bath.
Knight Bakugou knows exactly what youâre trying to do, and heâs determined he wonât fall for your tricksâ which is why heâs just as surprised as you are when he finds himself outside with you past curfew in the castle grounds watching the stars. But instead of staring up at the gorgeous night sky, he finds himself turning his head to the side to see how the moonlight glows against your skin. Itâs just another thing that has now woven its way into your daily routine together, and as he walks you back to your quarters each night you like to fool yourself that itâs because he wants to, not because his life depends on it.
It isnât long before the King begins to bring in suitors from neighbouring towns to vie for your hand in marriage. None of which are out of love, but a necessity to strengthen alliances between armies. Which is why it doesnât matter if you even like any of them, because the choice wonât be yours. The men are scheduled to fight for your hand, and as you sit and wait for them to joust you notice Bakugou clad in full metal armour across the field.
The King positioned him as his strongest guardâ because he is.
A man worthy enough to beat his strongest soldier is a man worthy enough to take his daughters hand in marriage. And yet as you watch every man come head to head with Bakugou he beats every single one.
And you think Bakugou has just beat these men because he wants to show how strong and powerful he is, but secretly itâs because heâs so in love with you.
You canât tell whether your father is proud or annoyed at the fact, especially when Bakugou knocks the son, young Midoriya, off his horse. The man that you believed the King wanted to you marry, the most suitable alliance available.
Itâs a few weeks later when Bakugou is sent away on a mission by the King. The head of an army sent out to pillage a neighbouring village who threaten to compromise the power of youâve forged.
The morning heâs scheduled to leave is the first time he lets you kiss him, he lets you get that close. As though heâs wondering whether heâll even return home himself. Standing in his quarters in the lower part of the castle, clad in your pyjamas and your feet freezing against the cold stone as he cradles you in his arms. Pouring every ounce of emotion into the kiss as he finally allows himself to have you, even if just for a few selfish moments. Bakugou reckons itâs worth the risk of dying, to feel your lips on his again. A fellow guard, Kirishima catches you both as he takes Bakugou away from youâ watching them ride off on horseback as you still feel the warmth of him surrounding you.
You stay awake each night wondering whether heâs even still alive tooâ whether youâll ever see him again. The new guards are just as useless as before and you find yourself longing for his safe return.
Itâs two months before your father has another man lined up as a potential suitor. Wondering who might fight for your honour now that Bakugou is gone, but youâre shocked when the King says thereâs no need for such friviolity. That the wedding is scheduled, and itâs the right reason to strengthen the Kingdom. Itâs not for love, it could never be when your heart belongs to Bakugou.
And even if you told your father about your feelings for his guard, it would be issuing Bakugou his own death sentence if he even managed to make it home at all.
But fate really can be a cruel, fickle thingâ and as fate would have it Bakugou returns home the day youâre standing at the altar wearing a pretty wedding dress like youâd dreamed about, while youâre waiting to be betrothed to another man.
I'm crying yall đđđ
Aoânung x Fem!Metkayina Reader
warnings: angst(?), panic attack, blood, lmk if I need to put anything else.
context: Aoânung finally completed his Iknimaya and was ready to confess to you! It was all going so great until it wasnât. News had been announced that (y/n)âs village was attacked and many of their people were injured and needed help and (y/n) was one of them.
AN: âŠI hope this meets up to your guys expectations and that you like it! I did my best as this was the first time writing something sad đ IMSOSCAREDOFYOUGUYSREADINGTHISAHHHMYANXIETY.
Part One
It had been a couple of years since Aoânung and (Y/N) had seen each other. They had been so busy with their training, (Y/N) becoming the TsahĂŹk and Aoânung the Oloâeyktan, that they never could find the right time to see one another. Itâs always one of them was doing something on the day the other one wasnât.
Even though they never saw each other in person that didnât stop them from still keeping contact in other ways. They had been writing letters and sending gifts back and forth keeping each other updated on their lives.
At the time since they were so young they didnât realize, that actually counted as courting each other. And thatâs when their parents knew you guys had already chosen each other since day one and they had been secretly talking about merging the villages together one day.
Aoânung once in a while would send (Y/N) handmade jewelry and headpieces that he learned to make from his mother and sister. He was very proud of it too. And in return (Y/N) would send him jewelry and armbands that she had beaded and woven herself.Â
He remembered the first time he received a necklace she had made, it had a reef bird talon. He was shocked when he unwrapped it and immediately put it on. To this day he still wears it around his neck along with other stuff you had made him like his armband, or the bracelet that had been made with familiar beads, they were the same beads you had in your hair when you guys first met and he wore them with pride.Â
Even though the letters and gifts made him happy and he was glad they were able to keep in touch with each other. He finds himself longing to be in person with you, when they first met it was an instant connection as if Eywa herself had sent you to him.Â
He prayed to Eywa every day thanking her for bringing you into his life and that he wishes to see you again. He remembered holding your hand for the first time, how soft and tiny it was compared to his, and when he stared into your eyes it was like time stopped and it was just you and him in the world without a worry.
At that young age, Aoânung had already made up his mind that it was you who he wished to spend the rest of his days with. It was you who he wanted to be his TsahĂŹk for his people, It was you who he wished to wake up next to every day, It was you who he saw carrying his future children. It was always you, and forever will be, and be prayed that you felt the same.Â
Today was a special day for Aoânung, he had finally finished his Iknimaya and tamed his Skimwing, all that was left was choosing a mate.Â
But he already had, it was you.
At that moment Aoânung sat along with the whole village as they all celebrated for him, although he was supposed to be happy he had a bad feeling about today, that something bad was going to happen. But he only pushed it to the back of his head. Today was going to be good no matter what. He wonât let some silly feeling ruin it.Â
The atmosphere was lively and joyful, with children playing with each other, elders making jokes, and teens playing traditional Metkayina games.Â
How could he not be happy right now?
He began to eat the fish that sat on the plate in front of him and made conversation with Rotxo and the friends that were nearby.Â
All of a sudden a warrior from Taâunuiâs clan rushed in and headed toward his father and mother with a worried look on his face.Â
As Aoânung watches his parent's expressions of whatever the warrior had said to them, he knew it was nothing good.Â
The bad feeling started to come back again and it made him feel sick to his stomach. Something happened. Something really bad.
His father stands up and clears his throat loudly and it gets everyoneâs attention.Â
âI need everyoneâs attention! We have just gotten news that the Taâunuiâs village had been attacked and many of the people were injured including the Oloâeyktanâs family.â Tonowari announced as his eyes immediately land on his son.Â
âI need all hands on deck. Clear your Maruiâs as we need all the space we can get to give our brothers and sisters sanctuary. If you see someone in need of help please help them with all that you can. I need everyoneâs help with thisâ
As Tonowari said his final words the happy joyful atmosphere turned serious and everyone rushed back to their maruiâs getting prepared to help them in need.Â
Ronal and Tonowari look at their son, He still stood in the same place he was. Tsireya shook his shoulder calling out his name but getting no response. She looked over to her parents with a worried expression.Â
Aoânung began running as fast as he could, pushing past his parents, towards the water where the people had been rushing in from on ilus and skimwings screaming in horror and in pain while carrying their loved ones, some lifeless, and some who were just merely hanging on to the little conscious they had left.Â
When he said he wanted to be with you in person this what not what he meant, this had to be some cruel joke. Why did this happen? Did he make the great-mother upset? Why?Â
His eyes traveled from person to person as they ran past him. His thoughts were scattered everywhere right now he could barely think straight.Â
A piercing ringing echoed in his ears cutting out all the sounds, all he could hear was himself breathing and the thumps of his heart.Â
He felt his hands begin to shake with anxiety, and he finds himself barely taking in full breathes as he was hyperventilating it made him feel sick and dizzy as if the world was spinning fast while his heart thumped erratically as if it were to jump out his chest and land into the sand.Â
Where were you? Weâre you okay? Were you hurt? Are you even alive? How was he even supposed to find you? He hasnât even seen you since you were 7 years old. His thoughts overwhelm him and started to make him even more dizzy. He hunched over with his hands on his knees as he tries to slow down his breathing.
Finally getting ahold of himself closes his eyes and forces himself to slow down his breathing, as he did the ringing began to stop and the cries from the people began to fill his ears again.Â
He opens his eyes and starts to run into the water, he looks around looking for possibly your father, maybe if he found your father you were with him, but he was out of luck as he couldnât find him.Â
Continuing to look around he spots a woman on her skimwing desperately screaming for help while holding a girl in her arms that were covered in blood.Â
He sighs as prays to Eywa that you were okay before quickly calling for his newly tamed Skimwing and heading towards the mother and assuming it was her daughter.Â
As he gets closer he looks at the girl laying in the mother's arms and looks at the girl's neck which had a necklace with a familiar shell on it.Â
No, it canât be.
He tells his Skimwing to go faster.
âNo no no no this canât be, please donât let it be (Y/N)â
Once he reached them the mother instantly cries for help, telling him her daughter is deeply wounded.
His eyes began to cloud forming tears as your mother shoved you in his embrace, pleading for him to rush you to the TsahĂŹk as she had to go back for more people.Â
He nodded his head without a word and began to hold you close as he rode back to shore, he could feel your blood seep out and onto his hands and legs but he didnât care about that, what he cared about was whether you were even alive or not. Â
â(Y/N) hey itâs going to be okay! We are almost there okay?! Just hold on a little bit longerâ he whispers to you while he was actually trying to convince himself.Â
Finally, after what felt like forever he had reached the shore, he quickly undid the bond and began screaming for his mother as he ran to her with you in his arms tightly held against his chest as it turns red.Â
Ronal hearing her son screaming rushes forward, a loud gasp leaving her lips at the sight she saw.Â
Her son holding the love of his life in his arms with blood covering both of them, tears were streaming down his face as he could barely breathe properly, with hiccups between each breath.Â
She quickly yells for Aoânung to follow her as she runs to the nearest healing Marui. She tells him to carefully set her down as she began to grab every single paste and medicine she could find.Â
Aoânung sat on his knees the whole time never leaving your side, holding your hand in his as his mother began to work on healing you.Â
He prayed and prayed to Eywa to let you be okay, that this was not your time to be with her. You were still so young and had such a long life to live, there was still so much you havenât gotten to explore. So much thing that he had not been able to tell you, to show you.Â
He even had this whole day planned out for you and him.Â
Aoânung and his father were going to travel to your village to surprise you and your family after the celebration, He was going to do this big thing where he personally went to your parents giving them the handmade gifts he had been working on for the past week ranging from baskets to jewelry, to spears and the fish that he had been catching all day that would feed your siblings and parents, he prepared so much so that he could ask your parent's permission to court you, to be mated with you and become one with Eywa.Â
He had even been practicing a speech for your father, telling him that he would take good care of you for the rest of your life and that he could trust him, he would make sure you always had a secured roof over your head and how you would always have food and would never become hungry, How he would protect you with his whole life from any danger and he was willing to do anything for you, he would worship the ground you walk on.Â
But how was he supposed to do that now as he sat there next to you and watched your body lay as if almost lifeless?Â
How was he supposed to confess the love that he has had for you since he was 8?Â
How was he supposed to show you the secret underwater cave spot, that since the day he found it, he couldnât wait to take you there?
How was he supposed to grow old and have a family with you as you both watch your kids grow older and become the next Oloâeyktan or TsahĂŹk?
He let out a deep sigh, He began to scan your face, finally taking in what you look like and how you have grown over the years. You were beautiful.Â
You were the most beautiful girl he had ever laid eyes on. With your long dark hair and a beautiful shade of aqua skin, perfectly round eyes. Even at this state he still found you beautiful. You were perfect every way in his eyes.
As his eyes trail over your face his gaze falls downwards and the necklace she was wearing caught his attention.Â
He remembers the memory as if it was yesterday, he saw the way your whole face went from scared and shy to lit up and excited. He remembered the way his heart started beating faster and was scared that you would be able to hear it.Â
Tears began to fill his eyes.Â
â(Y/N)âŠI love you, please donât leave before I can tell you these words. Please fight and come back to us, Eywa please help her find her way back to me, back to her parents, back to her younger siblingsâ He whispered as he held your hand to his chest, tears began to fall from his eyes as he breaks down, feeling his heart throb in pain, feeling this it was slowly cracking, falling into little pieces.Â
Ronal and your mom both were there working on healing you, they had done everything the could and now what was left to do was pray to Eywa.
And Eventually, after a couple of days you had finally begun to heal, getting better as the days passed but still had not worked up which worried Aoânung.
He still hasnât left your side too scared that if he left you would disappear again. His parents and your parents would come in and visit to check up on him and you. They all had that same face of pity as they looked at the both of them.
Of course the day he had went out to finally go bathe properly, he had just wiped your blood off him with a cloth and water though his skill still stayed stained.
You finally woke up.
As you open your eyes it was so bright that you could only close the again but then the sound of someone entering in the Marui reached your ears and the light soon was covered by something or maybe it was someone as you could hear their breathe come in and out shakily. Opening them again you look up and meet the eyes of someone else.Â
The eyes were familiar and brought instant comfort as you began to tear up at the boy and also remember the events that had happened. It was pain and happiness all at once. You couldnât believe who was sitting there in front of you.
âAoânung is it really you?!, I didnât think I would see you again after our village got attackedâ you whisper as your voice was hoarse. You stared up with at him in adoration with tears turning your vision blurry with a faint blush creeping on your cheeks.
The years have been very kind to him, he grew up to be a very handsome man that caught all the girls attention, and that crush you have had on him since you were a little girl only grew more the very second.
âYeah it really is me,â Aoânung said while caressing your face in his hands, wiping the tears falling from your eyes with his thumb. âLong time no see huh? You changed quite a bit thereâs no more little girl that cowards behind her father, I see you young beautiful woman and warrior even, is that a tattoo already? You completed your Iknimaya before me?!â he tried to enlighten the mood but it didnât help the fact that he was crying with tears streaming down his face as well.Â
You caress his face back with one hand and he leans into your touch kissing your palm. âI know, crazy right?â You tried to laugh but it was cut off as you cough and wince at the pain that came from your abdomen.
âHey take it easy, your still healing, you had gotten shot , and you have burns on your legs. But hey on the bright side imagine how cool the scars are gonna be aye? Your gonna look so badassâ you blush and lightly hit his leg. âStop making me laugh it hurtsâ
He could only laugh himself with a big smile on his face. His happy mood quickly shifting into a serious one as began to talk. His hands moves from your face to hold one of your hands kissing the back of it.
âYou know, I wanted it to be more romanticâŠI had this whole plan set up for youâŠbut I have to tell you now.â Aoânung begins to speak between sniffles.Â
You tense up a little worried about what he was going to say.
â(Y/N), when we first met each other, even though we were just kids I knew there was a connection, and I knew that you were gonna be someone that I hold dear to my heart. And when I gave you that necklace, the way your eyes lit up as you saw it and you looked at me with a big smile...I made it my goal to make sure you always had that look on your face even when we werenât together. I was so sad when you left and we werenât able to meet up, but when you sent me that little letter you wrote about how much you missed me. Thatâs when I fell, I fell in love with you though out the years. You make me the happiest man since day one of meeting you and if you give me permission, I want to spend the rest of my days with you. I love you (Y/N), I see youâ
You wipe the tears out of your eyes and nod your head while sniffling. Slowly you sit up and lay your forehead against his, you both stare into each other's eyes basking in the other one's presence.Â
âI see you, Aoânung. I wish to be by your side foreverâ

Uh *Mind Loading* Did I just fall in love with a s/o? I think I did đ„șđ€
Bruh, I hate myself at this point, but, what about a pro hero Bakugou with a Morticia Reader?
Like, imagine Bakugou pining after you... you're elegant, well spoken, poised, femininity oozing from every pore, with a hint of aloofness to you and never afraid to state your mind. Your words can creep out the creeper, can cut deeper than a knife could ever do, yet you never lose that elegance to you, and he is just so whipped for anything that means you and your obsessive love for dark stuff and that witchy aesthetic.
He tries to court you, instead of giving you normal flowers, he gives you dead ones, for which he had waited days to dry, careful to maintain the beauty of them. Despite being dry, the flowers look as beautiful as ever. When he brings them to you the first time, Mina beats his ears off, saying how that it's not how you court a lady, Kaminari and Sero too pointing out just how wrong it is. Kirishima sais nothing, but Bakugou can understand that he too seems thrown off.
Yet, all of his friends are proven wrong once you make an appeareance, hair straightened out, wearing a deep black dress that reaches the floor, with a generous slit on the skirt, where your pretty legs tease his eyes whenever you walk. He loves that red lipstick you wear. He hands you the dried flowers, which you soon take, all the while offering him a sweet smile.
"You- you like them? They're dead!" Mina asks, eyes bulging out of their sockets whilst jaw threatened to fall to the ground. You turn to look at her.
"Death is just a passage. Look at them, dear, their beauty is being preserved, death did nothing but accentuate their beauty"
Saying that the bakusquad is flabbergasted is an understatement. Meanwhile, Bakugou's ears are flaring up, proud smirk adorning his lips at his gift being appreciated.
He likes how you light up when he screams to kill/murder someone, even if he doesn't mean it totally, but seeing you all excited, giving him that lovely expression where he could almost see hearts in your eyes whenever he's go bathing crazy when fighting villains, makes him all hot and bothered.
Whenever asked about his loud, obnoxious personality, and how you can deal with him, people get spooked out when you turn out to be way more sadic than him.
If one day Bakugou is calm, his friends are cheering, enjoying his quietness. However, they turn to look at you when you question him, eyes as wide as plates upon hearing the conversation.
"My love, did something happen? Would you like to talk about it?"
" 'S nothing, just tired" he leans on your shoulder, cuddling into your neck, and as much as you enjoy the physical contact you can't not frown.
"You're awfully tamed... are you sure everything is alright?"
Kaminari calls your name, "Don't you find it better when he's quiet? I mean, at least now he's not screaming like a mad man, and our ears can finally take a break"
You sigh, almost pouting "He's depriving me of the man I've fallen in love with."
Kaminari makes a snarky remark, Sero following soon, and it rubs Bakugou the wrong way. The dormant flame of anger inside the blond is reignited, and soon he's screaming bloody murder whilst chasing his friends, his trademark "Die!" and "Go to hell!" Filling the once quiet room. You smile, concern replaced by pure, raw, unfiltered love for him.
Bakugou adores just how unafraid you are to be public with the relationship, he loves how easily you get lost into him, forgetting about the surrounding world, him being the center of your everything. If it weren't for his and your friends, the world would've seen you in compromising positions on too many occasions.
You could be having tea at a cafe, savouring the hot beverages, and if Bakugou kisses your knuckles, no one can stop him from trailing kisses up the length of your arm. Once he reaches your lips, it's too late to stop.
Instead of normal gifts, he brings you weapons. He has brought you so many that now they have a room only dedicated to them. For what exactly you needed an electric chair, was s mystery to Kirishima, but he's wise enough to not question it.
You're not a pro hero, although you do have a licence since you graduated a hero high, but decided to instead focus on the short life humans are granted, trying to live however you pleased. But, if Bakugou is ever in danger, whether it's a villain threatening his live or a woman overly obsessing over him, you're there, ready to get rid of the problem. You would have liked to use the torture chamber more, but your dear soon-to-be husband always manages to stop you before things can escalate.
Just like you are ready to risk it all for him, he too is ready to do anything in his power and beyond to keep you safe. Although, he has to admit, sometimes he feels bad for those who think that they have an advantage over you.
If a villain ever tries to get to you in order to bring down the pro hero, Bakugou can't help but slightly pity them. You're scary when threatened, and he wouldn't wish for anyone to suffer your wrath. You have a play room, that's the nickname you gave the torture chamber, and the prospect of utilizing it bring you immense joy.
Imagine his surprise when he returns home, only to find a villain he's been tracking down for months, kneeling in front of him, balling his eyes out and snot running down their nose, bleeding from the many wounds they have, begging for Dynamight to just hand them to the police.
"Oh!" You interject, comin out of the play room. "You're home early! Are you hungry my love? I made some spicy hot wings, they should still be warm"
"NO! Please, please, I accept anything! Tartarus is good! Heaven! Please Dynamight I-"
"You know you don't have to cook if you don't feel like it" he grumbles, cheeks dusting with redness as soon as you close the distance.
"I know love, but I thought you might enjoy it"
"You're just bribing me to let you keep the new toy for one more hour"
"So perceptive my husband" you clap once, leaning again toward him to kiss his chin. Bakugou softens. "Is it working? Can I?"
He looks at your pretty eyes, round and big, and full of adoration. Fuck him, he's totally, undeniably, irrevocably in love with you and your weird ass.
"Yeah, but once I'm done eating I'm taking this shit stain to the police"

Crying cause I had a draft that was a quarter way done and it disappeared
YALL HELPED ME FIND IT. đđ»đđ„șâ€â€
Warning for super angst! This wasnât requested, but I was in another mood and there needed to be some more angst on here. (adding this in late, but warning for blood)
(I guess I only write for Bakugo now *shrugs* (OoOoOpppppss)) Sorry, Iâm latterly and utterly in love with him.
As always, I hope you enjoy the content, and please do send in requests! Iâm making my way through them and doing my best to fulfill them all! I love you all.Â
Side note, I cried writing this.
âGood morning, Bakugo!â you cheerfully greeted. You waved to the boy as he grumbled something under his breath. He walked past you without a care, not even sparing you a glance. But you didnât care. You bounced after him and fell into step with him, clapping your hands together and never losing your smile. You gazed up at him with practical hearts in your eyes. You couldnât help it, you had the biggest crush on the biggest jerk in the school. Everyone knew it, even 2nd and 3rd year students. It didnât bother you, there was no one else to show him any affection. Not at school at least. He had friends, sure, but none of them liked him how you did.
Your heart swelled whenever you saw him in the hallways and you always greeted him, every morning! Your eyes were practically glued on him all day, small sighs of longing leaving your lips. You always attempted small talk with him. He never had much to say, not that he ever gave you responses or answers you were looking for. He usually told you to fuck off or to leave him alone, which you would. You believed in personal space and if he wanted it from you, then who were you to deny him that? Sometimes you brought him and his friends gifts. The most famous one his friends liked to receive were cookies and other baked goods. Though you never spied him taking a bite of any of your homemade snacks, you always showed up with some.
âDid you get the answer to number seven on the homework last night? I didnât understand it all that well, but I know that you more than likely did. Youâre so smart,â you complimented him. You could ramble on forever about how perfect her was. From his intelligence to his defined muscles. You could compliment him on anything he did.
âWould you shut up?â he grunted, seeming to slouch more at your presence. You didnât seem to let him forget that you were there. He hated how you came around to bug him every morning. He had to hear your voice everyday, talking about something stupid that he didnât care for. He had tried to ward you off so many times, but you were a persistent leech. He was only happy that you were physically touching him, then heâd really lose it. Kirishima and Kaminari told him that it was just a little crush, nothing to make a fuss about, that it would pass. He was ready to blast their heads off because obviously they had been wrong. Mina had said that you had to be âhard core in love with himâ and that was why you were so persistante. Well he wanted nothing to do with it!
You shut up immediately, nodding your head. You followed him all the way to class, making your way happily to your seat. You were stopped when you heard your name though and turned, smiling to the group of friends seats in the middle of the room. âGood morning, Kaminari!â
He smiled at you, but not in that flirty way he had. He was so nice to you, you assumed that it was mostly because of those cupcakes you made. He was by far the biggest fan of your baking skills and he always wanted more. âGot any treats for us today?â
âAfraid not, but I can bring some in tomorrow if you really want some,â you beamed, clapping your hands together. His smile widened and if he could hug you, he probably would. The only thing stopping him was a row of desks. He sent you a thumbs up with a shining smile. âThatâd be great!â
You felt yourself get all bubbly inside. You did a little dance before continuing to your seat and unpacking your supplies. Once situated, you opened your sketchbook and started on a new drawing. You always drew in class, it was a lot more productive to you. You could listen to the lesson and keep your hands occupied. It made perfect sense to you, though you were sure Aizawa sensei wouldnât agree. It was part of the reason why you hid your work from him and from everyone else, and made it look like you were taking notes. The other reason you hid your artwork from everyone was because the entire sketchbook, save for one or two pages, was all full of Bakugo. You couldnât help yourself, he was just so gorgeous and handsome. He was a work of art himself, and you wanted to capture that. You did, everyday. You worked so hard on every sketch, pouring your heart into every line and shade spot. It was now to the point you didnât have to look at him for reference, you knew every detail of his face from memory. You swore to yourself it wasnât weird, really. You just had such a huge, mega crush on him.
Class went by as usual. Aizawa taught some stuff and slept, your classmates worked, and you drew Bakugo. There were no interruptions throughout the entire day. Lunch went pretty smoothly. Your friends started the same spiel about liking such a hot head, âespecially one that doesnât like youâ theyâd say, and how you needed to get over him. This was because they swore that he would either never acknowledge your huge crush on him and act on it or he would find someone he does like and leave you in the dust. Either way, they were afraid you were going to be crushed. Their pleads fell upon your deaf ears, though, as you were always dead set on Bakugo and no one seemed to be able to change your mind.
When the end of the day finally rolled around, you were at your locker making an exchange. There were a few supplies you needed to restock on and a few books you could return to the library. Both needed to be done as soon as possible, and you were planning on getting it all bought up and returned before you went home that evening. The halls were clearing fast, as no one wanted to be at school when they could be playing video games or listening to music or doing anything else. You closed your locker and spotted the ash blonde making his way to the exit. You felt your smile widen.
âOi! Bakugo! Wait up!â You called after him. He didnât, but you caught up to him anyway. You slowed your pace once coming to his side and giggled. âDidnât you hear me? I want to walk with you!â
Oh, he heard you! He always heard you! Your voice always made alarms go off in his head, telling him that he needed to be ready for whatever word vomit you were about to throw at him. He always found it easier to ignore you than to start yelling at you, (1) because you werenât worth the sore, scratchy throat, and (2) because you werenât leaving him alone. He was endlessly annoyed by your voice, which sucked because he couldnât help but growl every time he heard it. You could be 20 feet across the room, laughing with your friends, and he would get this cloud of annoyance laid over him like a blanket. He hated it, and he was pretty sure he hated you.
You were holding your sketchbook to your chest, your backpack too full of everything else to hold it. You didnât mind, though, as you loved carrying it close to your heart. Your art was like a piece of you, and it always made you smile. Even if you were having a bad day, going through your work was always uplifting. Or just doodling made you the happiest girl in the word.
âSo, are you planning on doing anything fun?â you giggled.
âIâm going home, and if you follow me there, I wonât hesitate to blow your ass up,â he muttered coldly.
You laughed, not exactly finding his threats or insults funny, but rather cute. He glared at you for laughing at him, looking away sharply. He stuffed his hands into his pants pockets with a huff, actively ignoring you more - if that were even possible. He knew he shouldnât have said anything to you, but he wanted to make it clear that he did not want you knowing where he lived.
Your burst of laughter stopped when you tripped on a rock in the middle of the sidewalk. You hit the ground rather hard, scraping up your knees and hands. Your sketchbook feel from your grasp as you went to catch yourself, and it fell open on the concrete. And Bakugo couldnât help but to look at it, and he stopped dead in his tracks. He felt as though he blood was running cold and boiling at the same time, because staring back up at him was a drawing of himself. He was horrified, realizing that this was what you did all day rather than play an active role in classes. He picked up the book with lightning fast speed and flipped through it. One after another was a drawing of him. His face, his eyes, his hair, all of it was drawn with such precision and accuracy. He fucking hated it.
âItâs worse than I thought,â he grumbled, looking at you with full rage in his eyes. âYouâre a stupid stalker bitch!â
You looked at him, down on your knees and feeling the seething pain of blood soaking into the sidewalk from your skin. You shook your head, waving your hands around viciously. âIâm not! I swear!â
âThen what the fuck is this!?â He couldnât stop yelling. He felt violated almost, his opinion of you drastically changing from annoying kid with a school girl crush to crazy stalker who wouldnât leave him alone.
âI just couldnât help it,â you told him, standing to your feet. The blood started running down your legs, but you didnât care. You reached for the sketchbook, but he held it over your head where you couldnât reach it. âPlease, give it back!â
âLike hell I would!â he shouted in your face. He stepped away from you, taking the book in both his hands. He suddenly set off tiny explosions, burning the surface and everything within the pages. It felt like something inside of you died the moment he did that. He threw it at your feet as tears started pooling in your eyes. âYou need to leave me the fuck alone! I donât like you, not even a little bit! If I could have it my way, you wouldnât even be here, you hear me?! So just fuck off and stay out of my life, âcause I donât need stalker extras like you dragging me down! And if I find out you draw me one more time, Iâll make sure you wonât be able to draw anything ever again!â
You picked up your sketchbook, that now looked like it had gone to Hell and come back to your. Your blood seeped into the cover and a few pages. You could only stare at it as you let silent tears fall. You gripped it tightly, your knuckles turning white. Bakugo was already walking away from you, but you couldnât stop your voice before you could think.
âYou really think youâre gonna become a hero acting like such a jerk!? Youâre a monster! A horrible one! I promise you, I wonât draw you again! I never want to see you again!â You turned and ran away from him, tearing blurring your vision. He had destroyed something so close to your heart, something that defined you. It wasnât him, it was your drawings. Everything else, you werenât so good at, but drawing and baking was all you had. Everything else amounted to nothing, and he had just plummeted your dreams of love.
Bakugo had stopped when he heard the first thing you said. It didnât hit him as hard as being called a monster, though. It shook him, but he didnât let it show. He turned, half expecting to see you running to him even though he had heard you run away. But all he saw was your blood sprinkled on the ground where you had fallen. Nothing else of you remained and he felt a weird panging in his chest, like he had just stabbed himself in the heart.
The following morning, he didnât hear your voice at all. You werenât in the hall to greet him nor in the classroom. He didnât see your smiling face anywhere and your friends were huddled in a corner talking to themselves. He didnât think twice about it, as he were sure you had told them everything that had happened. How he burnt your book and about how much of a monster he was. He had stayed up all night thinking only one thing.
âHow can I become a hero if Iâm a monster?â
He sat down in class without a word. Even when his friends spoke to him, he didnât even look at them. He didnât say anything to them. He didnât even really pay attention to the lesson. All he had running through his head was the look of pure pain on your face and the words you screamed at him. He was slowly realized that he hated your voice when you said those words, because they had been filled with hurt and hatred. It wasnât like the loving and sweet voice you used when greeting him and telling him about your passions. He missed that voice. So. Damn. Much.
When lunch break came, he marched up to Kaminari and demanded his phone. âDude, you have your own!â
âJUST GIVE IT TO ME, DAMMIT!â
Kaminari didnât object again. He nearly slapped the device into Bakugoâs open hand and watched him with curiosity as he scrolled through the contacts list.
When Bakugo found your name, it had a cute flower emoji beside it. His heart filled with despair as he hit the call button beside it and held the phone to his ear. Each ring made his stomach clench, but it was the cut off that made it drop. You had sent him (Kaminari) to voicemail, where your bubbly voice filled his eyes.
âI missed you, but I promise to call you back later! If itâs important, leave a voicemail!â There was the beep, signalling the beginning of the message recording. He felt himself inhale sharply, and he held it for a few seconds. Those seconds suddenly felt like minutes as he realized he only had a short amount of time to say what he wanted to say.
â(name),â he paused for a moment, bowing his head shamefully as he felt his throat become sore and scratchy, âIâm sorry.â
