Nah bc I would do this. Absolutely un-ironically.
*Everyone is standing around the broken coffee maker* Y/n: So. Who broke it? I'm not mad, I just wanna know. Everyone: Tony: ...I did. I broke it. Y/n: No. No you didn't. Steve? Steve: Don't look at me. Look at Natasha. Natasha: What?! I didn't break it. Steve: Huh, that's weird. How'd you even know it was broken? Natasha: Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken. Steve: Suspicious. Natasha: No, it's not! Clint : If it matters, probably not, but Thor was the last one to use it. Thor: Liar! I don't even drink that crap! Clint : Oh really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier? Thor: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Clint ! Tony: Okay let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Y/n. Y/n: No! Who broke it!? Everyone: Clint : Y/n... Steve's been awfully quiet. Steve: rEALLY?! *Everyone starts arguing* Y/n being interviewed: I broke it. I burned my hand so I punched it. Y/n: I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with warpaint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. Y/n: Y/n: Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

Hello please reblog this if you’re okay with people sending you random asks to get to know you better
I just watched Netflix’s new show ‘Surviving Summer’ and let me tell you, this shit is good like, as good as Julie & the Phantoms. It also has a fuck ton of surfing -makes sense, it takes place in Australia- which i absolutely love. It also shows (phenomenally well) how difficult living with PTSD & anxiety is alongside the effect of growing up without a parental figure around changes how you interact. Overall I’d rate it a 9.8/10 Go check it out!
Everyone needs to know that over turning abortion is rooted in racism. No they don't want black and brown women to suffer (anymore than usual). They want more white women to be forced to carry to full term so that they (white people) don't loose the numerical majority and become a minority in America.
But please know, black and brown women will be affected by this. Black and brown women have some of the highest cases of maternal death during child birth. Experiencing complications more frequently which is a direct side effect of the racist health care system. White Republicans don't care about that the real goal is for them to increase the population of white people through any means necessary.
Please look up The Birth Dearth by Ben J. Wattenberg. (Spoiler alert its eugenics. It's all eugenics.)
Here is our girl Jane Elliot talking about it.
Here is an entry article to read about as well
This. Thank you!
i've been in a very logan mood so i would like to request a logan howlett x reader with 16 and 26 - @koshi-sama 💜
16. “Kiss me moron.”
26. “I’ll be with you all the way.”
Looking up from your spot on the bed, you could vaguely see Logan wondering about in the dark room.
What he was doing was beyond you, so you sat up a little bit and turned the lamp on.
Immediately Logan turned to face you, setting his glass down on the dresser as he walked over.
“Go back to sleep..” he whispered.
Logan covered you up and pressed a kiss to the corner of your mouth as he went to walked away again.
Quickly grabbing his hand, you tugged him back over towards you.
“Darling… what’s wrong…?” You whispered.
“Nothing babe, go back to bed.”
“Not until you come back in too…”
Logan sighed and slung himself over you across the bed and pulled you into his chest.
You knew what was going on even if he wasn’t going to tell you anything.
Nightmares.
It’s why he often didn’t sleep in the same room as you he was scared he was going to hurt you in some way or form.
Kiss his chest, you listened to his heartbeat, lacing his fingers with yours.
“Logan…?”
“Hm?”
“I’ll be with you all the way.”
Logan looked down at you, pressing a long kiss to the top of your head as he held you a little tighter.
Pulling the quilt up to cover the pair of you he said nothing and you simply smiled.
Grabbing your phone, you aimlessly scrolled through it.
“Hey, you said you would go to sleep.”
Setting your phone back down, you rolled over to look at him and have him a small grin.
“I’m awake now. Your fault.”
Logan rolled his eyes and shook his head at you, pecking your forehead.
“Go to sleep.” He mumbled.
“I can’t!” You huffed.
Logan rolled his eyes, pulling you up a little more and brushed his nose against yours.
“Kiss me moron.” He whispered.
You laughed, leaning up to eagerly kiss him.
Smirking, he quickly kissed back.
What a better way to spend the night if he couldn’t sleep then keeping you up with him

Not to be an obligatory Donation link post, but while we’re at it…
Planned Parenthood
NARAL Pro-Choice America
EMILY’s List
The National Abortion Federation
Center for Reproductive Rights
if you’re interested in donating, all of these orgs fight on a federal level to help ensure Women’s rights & Women’s right to choose. They aim to expand access to and provide resources about abortion, & elect federal officials who will support abortion rights
the best thing that we can do right now to fight for abortion rights is donating to your local abortion fund, especially in states with “trigger laws” or laws that will immediately take harsh measures to shut down abortion rights as soon as roe is overturned. If you don’t know your local abortion fund or states with trigger laws, here’s one in Texas, one in Louisiana, one in Georgia, one in West Virginia and one in Mississippi (all states with such “trigger laws”). There’s so many more beyond the handful i just listed here but times like these are the time to donate and support the incredible work that these organizations do for their communities.
I don't want to scare people, but if you are able to get pregnant and you live in a red or purple state in the US, you need to start making an emergency contingency plan for a complete ban on abortion in your state now. It is increasingly likely that Roe v. Wade will be nullified this summer when the Supreme Court decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health is announced, allowing states to set their own laws on abortion. If/when this happens, 23 states have the legislature in place to ban abortion and 29 total are hostile/lean hostile towards abortion and are likely to ban or heavily restrict it, according to the Guttmacher Institute. Only 16 are confidently pro-choice.
If you live in a state that is likely to repeal, are able to conceive, and especially if you are sexually active, you need to have a plan for avoiding pregnancy and a plan for if that plan fails, and the time to make it is now, not this summer when everyone around you is panicking.
Birth control access shouldn't be affected by this decision, but look into longer acting and more effective methods, like IUDs (99.995% effectiveness typical and perfect use) and subdermal implants (99.995% typical and perfect) over things like the pill (99+% perfect, 91% typical) or condoms alone (98% perfect, 82% typical) that are less effective and easier to lose access to, and use both a barrier method like a condom and a hormonal method if you can. Planned Parenthood has a list of methods sorted by effectiveness here. Plan B lasts about a year, and is considered effective for 72 hours after sex but drops exponentially in effectiveness as time passes: if you don't reliably have a spare $50 and access to a pharmacy that stocks Plan B or ellaOne, buy a back up Plan B when you're able to to ensure you can take emergency contraceptives as soon as possible for the best results.
Start tracking your cycle now: medication abortions are the only ones that can be self managed and are only possible up to 11 weeks after the start of your last period. Not after conception, after the first day of your last period. The effectiveness of medication abortion drops after 8 weeks pregnant, and some sources will say it's only effective up to week 10. If your next period is late and there's even a miniscule possibility you could be pregnant, take a pregnancy test immediately (the dollar store ones are the same as the expensive pharmacy tests). Don't wait to see if it shows up a couple weeks late or if next month's comes: by the time you reach your first missed period, you're already considered 4 weeks pregnant, and you need as much time as possible to coordinate an out of state abortion or a self managed abortion. Waiting for two missed periods puts you at 8 weeks pregnant, almost at the point where you need to start altering dosages for medication abortion to be effective. Don't cut it that close: it's better to waste a dollar on a test than have to seek out a second trimester abortion.
Have a plan for how you will get an abortion, both within the first 10 weeks and after. For early abortions, you will be able to self manage. Plan C, Aid Access, medicationabortion.com, Women on Web, and Women Help Women can all help you obtain the medications you need or information about how to use them, either by mailing them directly or by connecting you to resources: bookmark these.
For abortions past 10 or 11 weeks, things are more complicated, but they are not hopeless. You need to have a plan, though. Do you know where the nearest abortion clinic in a pro choice state is? Do you know how much that abortion will cost and how you will get that money, both for the clinic costs and the cost of travel, accommodations, and two to four days of lost wages? Do you know if they do in-clinic abortions (the only option after 10 weeks) or just medication abortions? What's the latest they can go? Look into local abortion funds or access support organizations. More will emerge as need increases, but scoping them out now will save valuable time and give you peace of mind. Some of the resources linked in the last paragraph may be able to help connect you as well.
Again, I'm not trying to incite panic here, but things are not looking good when it comes to abortion access in the United States, and you need to be prepared. Time is of the essence when it comes to abortions, even without restrictive bans, and having information and a plan before you lose access and especially before you get pregnant buys you time.
I love them so much!!

𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 | Sam Winchester x female reader
𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 | All this time, you’ve been certain that your feelings for Sam have been unrequited. Until you’re forced to make a demon deal to save the world and everyone you hold dear - and everything changes. Takes place at the end of season 7 (the one with the Leviathans).
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 | angst with an ambiguous ending, protective Sam Winchester, romance
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 | 6 k
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 | angst with an ambiguous ending (let me know if I should write part 2 for this story!), canon-typical violence, blood
𝐀𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝🖤
The road to Hell, they say, is paved with good intentions.
It’s the truth, at least in your own case.
In all this time of hunting with the Winchesters, you should have learned to never strike a demon deal – least of all with the King of Hell himself.
And yet, it’s desperation that guided you here, to the lonely crossroads outside of town, underneath a night sky of towering clouds that suffocate the pale light of the stars. The air smells of rain and the coming storm. A first droplet falls down on you as you wait, running down your cheek like a stray tear.
At first, nothing happens. There’s only the chill early-autumn wind that sweeps over the abandoned crossroads, making the stalks of dried corn that flank the lonely country road on all sides like silent sentinels sway and rustle; an eerie melody like a choir of whispering voices that sends shivers skittering down your spine like spiders.
“Do the demigods in flannel know you’ve strayed from the flock, little bird?”, Crowley’s voice drifts through the cold night, its dark timbre swirling in the air like the fog rising in the fields.
“Why?”, you quip with a belligerence that even surprises yourself, so in contrast to the frantic, frightened thrumming of your pulse, “Scared they’ll whip your ass if you make a deal with me, Crowley?”
Crowley’s answering chuckle is low, like the purr of a cat to match the feline smirk which plays on his lips while he strolls towards you with the slow steps of someone who knows he has all the time in the world. And in contrast to you…he has. Why hurry, when the prey sought him out all on its own?
“You know, of your pesky little party, you’re the one I’ve always liked best,” the demon finally drawls before coming to a halt in front of you, his glittering gaze sweeping over your surroundings before it comes to rest on you.
“Seems like I did something wrong, then.”
Another low, rumbling chuckle; another slow step towards you. The gleam in Crowley’s dark eyes is as unsettling as ever.
“Or right, considering you’ve called me here to make a deal.”
You’re clever enough to know this plan of yours is stupid beyond measure. It’s also the only ace left up your sleeve.
“I need your blood.”

Hello, mutuals, followers. Anyone that sees this. My homeland Sri Lanka has fallen into the worst economic crisis in her history. I’ve lived through multiple of these crisis’ before but this is worse than rock bottom and I did not ever realize we could even dig ourselves deeper than rock bottom.
My home has run out of food, petrol, medicine, and more. My people are dying in queues waiting for food , petrol and medicine. My own loved ones are barely hanging on. There’s on going protests nation wide and they are met state violence.
So while the Sri Lankan people are fighting for basic needs here’s some small ways you can help through donations. Down below will be an article about the crisis and then I’ll list a link tree which will take you to a google doc. I’ll post what it’ll look like and please please consider donating even 1 dollar because it goes long way. And of course share all around. Thank you!

Just gonna make a big list of reader insert writers, and my favourite works from each of them <3
I adore Mar's writing style. She knows how to hook you in with clearly depicted emotions so easily, and it continues to resonate throughout the entire fic! Also my go to writer for angst <3
My Fave: Hope You Never Read This - Poe Dameron x Reader
↳ angst, made me cry, death tw
Priya is so good with details, like I'm talking fully realized worlds, things I would've never thought of, but it makes sense when you read it. Plus her writing makes me laugh, she has a great sense of humor :)
My Fave: Married to Your Work - Duke Leto x Reader
↳ Slow burn, arranged marriage stuff, pretty funny, I live for Reader's internal thoughts
Sooo Mercy is obviously just one of my favourite people on here, because she's a total sweetheart and is also talented at writing to boot. I think she's great at writing characters! Somehow she knows exactly how each character would act in every scenario, it's never OOC. And she's great with fluff :D
My Fave: Dead to Me - Wade Wilson/Deadpool x Reader
↳ Fluff, angst, multiverse shenanigans, made me sad and happy at the same time
Rain is super inspiring, she's great at angst and enemies to lovers, which is something I'm trying to work on! Also she's really great if you love Evan Peters' characters.
My Fave: Mistakes (ongoing series) - Peter Maximoff x Reader
↳ Enemies to Lovers, Medieval AU, angst, fluff, future smut
Birbs is a multi-fandom writer who's works I'm not super familiar with yet, but the fic I did read? The emotions conveyed in it were so real and so potent. Really good grasp on how emotions build characters and all that.
My Fave: Reunion - Din Djarin x Reader
↳ Friends to Lovers, fluff and comfort, a little angst
If I'm not mistaken, Olivia is a newer writer (please correct if I'm wrong!) but even so her writing already shows a great grasp on everything good about fic writing! Her fluff>>>>>
My Fave: This Ask Based On a Prompt - Matt Murdock x Reader
↳ Basically just fluff but somehow perfect in a few words!
Skye is a super awesome multi-fandom writer who somehow manages to write exactly like how the original media is written, even when there's a lot you gotta make up on your own.
My Fave: Family Outing - Logan Howlett x Reader
↳ Fluff and angst, really cute, based off of Old Man Logan
I love Bucky, and even though I've written for him, I haven't really gotten him as well as Tara has! Somehow even in AU works she keeps it as in character as possible
My Fave: The Guardian - Bucky Barnes x Reader
↳ Demon AU, series, angst, fluff, depression, body issues, violence/torture, suicide***
She's a great writer for descriptive stuff, and I love that people still unabashedly love Logan out here :D (I miss the X-Men era of film)
My Fave: Easy Like a Sunshine Caf - Din Djarin x Reader
↳ Fluff, part of the mando'a challenge, really just cute <3

My Fave: I've Already Lost - TASM!Peter Parker x Reader
↳ Series, unrequited love kind of, angsty as hell but WORTH IT
Liane is awesome at fluff. It will make your heart clench but in the best way, because it's just that cute <3
My Fave: The Coolest Twinkie - Peter Maximoff x Reader
↳ Just the fluffiest fluff that made me smile super hard
Kelsey is another multi-fandom writer who always seems to know exactly how to write for every character, and her prose is so gripping- you always want to keep reading no matter what.
My Fave: When She Loved Me - Loki Laufeyson x Reader
↳ Angst, death tw, made me real sad but in a good way
Beez is crazy underrated. Definitely my go to writer for Din because she writes him so well, and I just can't describe how easy it is to digest her work but also feel smart for doing so :) <3
My Fave: Show Yourself - Din Djarin x Reader
↳ Soulmate AU, Princess/Royalty AU, series, fluff and angst
Kat is a go-to for Peter Maximoff. Trust me, I love every single one of her fics and she updates really frequently, too!
My Fave: Convenience Store - Peter Maximoff x Reader
↳ Fluff, Peter being protective, just very cute <3

— Macro Literature
I’ve seen a lot of talk in the writing community lately around quitting writing/giving up on your WIP, and it’s really been quite discouraging. So, I’ve decided to go in the opposite direction. So, here are EXAMPLES of reasons your WIP is worth finishing:
Imagine your story after multiple revisions, rounds of beta readers, a professional edit and proofread - it’s shiny and ready for publication - is it something you’d like to read?
Instead of comparing your first draft to others’ finished products, imagine your manuscript/story idea as the best it can be. If that version of your WIP is something you’d enjoy reading, others will probably too, which means that it’s worth writing.
Not all novels need to make some monumental statement or drive readers to tears of inspiration, but if your story does that, it’s sure as hell worth writing.
If you feel that your story has the potential to cast light on an important topic or mean something to someone, it’s worth continuing.
When that first spark of inspiration for your WIP hit you, you were excited, right? Excited by the ‘what if’, by the characters, by a specific scene or a plot twist. Something about this story made you think: “Wow, I have to write that.”
Writing a novel can take a lot of time and spending such a long period with one story can dilute your excitement. So, think about that element that made you excited at the beginning. Do you think readers might get excited at that when they read it for the first time? If your answer is yes, then your story idea is worth writing.
This isn’t compulsory. Nearly all books have similar elements.
BUT if your WIP has a fresh take on a cliche or a world unlike any other ever created or a unique story line, it’s probably worth writing.
Just think about it. You’ve had this awesome, original idea. If you don’t write it, the world will never experience it.
Yep. That’s it. If you like writing it, then keep doing so. There doesn’t have to be some objective justification for you to do something you enjoy. You can just do it because you want to.
And no, no one likes working on their WIP all the time. Sometimes, you feel like pulling your hair out or setting your manuscript on fire.
But if it mostly gives you joy and excites you, you should keep writing.
I’m not advocating for continuing your WIP at all costs. By all means, if you want to abandon it, do so. But don’t do it because you feel discouraged or someone else has convinced you it’s not good.
If you have any requests for posts/questions about creative writing, feel free to pop me an ask or a DM.
Holy fuck, this is amazing! Thank you, Author!
summary: the last thing you want to do is sit in a class you don’t want to take but need in order to graduate. scratch that. the last thing you want to do is sit next to peter parker.
