A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away...
During the Reign of the Old Republic in the midst of the New Sith Wars a Twi'lek named Rita was born. Rita was raised on her homeworld of Ryloth by her parents, loving and supportive parents they were but fearful of the war. One day Rita and her sister were forcefully taken from their home and brought to Zygerria to be sold as slaves, their parents were unfortunately killed in the attack. It was thought their fates were horribly sealed until they were rescued by a rogue Zygerrian and a Tholothian pilot. They were returned home but Rita had other plans; she and her sister Sara decided to venture out and make something of themselves. They earned their place in the galaxy through smuggling with Rita calling the shots and managing their "negotiations". Now years later Rita still manages to stay in contact with the crew of the "Celestial Atlas" on the odd chance they need a favour.

Vinca from "Castle Swimmer"
"Castle Swimmer" is a brilliant webcomic on Webtoon made by Wendy Lian Martin.
Summary: What happens when your entire life is ruled by a prophecy - your future foretold by people you've never met, who died long before you were born. Such is the story of two young sea creatures. One believed to be a guiding light for his people, a Beacon who will lead them to a bright, prosperous future. The other is a teenage prince for who's destiny is to KILL the Beacon so that HIS own people might thrive. When both reject the course set for them, it leads to a raucous adventure as big and unpredictable as the ocean itself - and a romance that nobody could have predicted.
My Experience: "Castle Swimmer" is brilliant to read; its story is adventurous and romantic, its characters are complex and wonderful, and its artwork is beautiful and bubbly. An overall fantastic webcomic that everyone should go read 10/10!
Vinca's people are based off the the Porpoise species - the Vaquita. There are less then 20 of them left in the wild due to the use of Gil-nets, so please help spread the word, nothing deserves to go extinct solely on human error. Visit porpoise.org/save-the-vaquita to find your way to help.
