Poster E for Volume 1: Stepping Stones to a Rebellion
A Long Time Ago, In a Galaxy Far, Far Away...
During the Reign of the Old Republic in the midst of the New Sith Wars a Pantoran named Lara Strur was born. Lara Strur was raised on her homeworld of Pantora by her aunt, a Pantoran noble who disregarded her royal life for the sake of her niece; Lara's aunt took her to Correlia in hopes she too could escape the burden of nobility and all that that implies. Lara felt out of place on this new world but she wasn't alone, she discovered a girl similar to her in age and circumstance, a Nautolan by the name of Zif Runneni. They steadily got to know one another and Lara began to harbor secret feelings toward her new friend; Zif was always caring and kind towards her but Lara wasn't sure if that meant her feelings were reciprocated, that was until Zif confessed but before that joyous day the two girls got into plenty of trouble. One day a prank gone wrong led the two girls trapped between a rock and a hard place or in their case a thug and an alleyway, fortunately they were rescued by a Togruta named Wynssa Ninx who helped to teach the girls about protecting themselves against dangerous individuals. Lara, as trained under the Togruta, chose to hone her skills with a sniper rifle and learned much in the way of weaponry and battle tactics; knowledge which she steadily used to her advantage. Now years later Lara spends her time planning strategies and protecting those in need aboard the "Celestial Atlas" (...but she mostly stays to protect Zif, despite her protests).
Inspired by the "STAR WARS" Franchise by George Lucas and "STAR WARS: The Clone Wars" by Dave Filoni.
Raina and Donna from "Rainbow in the Dark"
"Rainbow in the Dark" is a remarkable webcomic on Webtoon made by comfortandadam (Comfort And Adam).
Summary: Urban fairytale of gray vs color in a world of monsters, romance, and epicness! Within the world of gray lives a singular girl. Normalcy is a prison. Everything changes when a colourful band of rebels explode out of nowhere, blasting through the city streets. Swept up in their struggle, she finally finds the one thing that has always eluded her - purpose. Updates every Wednesday.
My Experience: "Rainbow in the Dark" is remarkable to read (my mind was blown after reading it); the story is complex and intricate with plenty of twists and turns, the characters are wonderful and colourful, and the artwork looks like it's out of the Renaissance. An overall fantastic webcomic that everyone should go read 10/10!
(Sadly this webcomic is finished now, but that just means the main story is completed and you have the pleasure of reading it in its entirety, Enjoy!)
Note: This is a redraw. The original artwork for this redraw was pulled from Instagram @ comfortandadam so please go and follow them, their artwork is amazing.
