As a cops daughter I know full well the dangers and risks cops face every day, and I understand that they have to always be on guard when the enter a scene. But this is completely insane. They were unarmed, they weren’t resisting arrest, and they weren’t threatening in any way. The woman was pregnant, she was holding a baby, they were pointing the gun at that baby and demanding that she simultaneously exit her vehicle with, and keep her hands up. There was no reason for their guns to be drawn in the first place, shoplifting is not a dangerous crime, and very rarely does shoplifting turn violent. They had no excuse and it is terrifying that they weren’t immediately fired for this brutal behavior.

$10m each I hope. There is never a reason to point a gun at a woman who is holding her child. This video makes me sick. Everything about this is wrong. They don’t deserve that uniform

Thank you!! The fact that 20+ people have accused him should at least warrant an investigation. If 20 people with little to no connection with each other accuse some one of stealing, then the accused’s employer would probably want to look into these claims. Especially if this employee was known to make offhanded comments about “taking” money.
