Hilariously, if you go to the actual Reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/csMajors/comments/1f8x5ma/world_record_rejection/), the poster of the story is saying that
1: That's not his position; he's called the tech lead. and 2: There was a lot of other reasons to fire that HR department, it's just that what he did was what finally convinced the higher ups to actually go and do it. He just simplified the story for the sake of the Reddit post.
Ah, I see! I suppose that makes sense, if nothing that normally happens with spine growth would mean it has to be replaced. It's a bit variable, but losing out on a good half of one's teenage height gains that way would be a sensible expectation.
Based on my reading of various texts (most notably stat blocks of common in RL creatures), I’m pretty sure that while they CLAIM otherwise, this is actually how D&D sizes creatures.
"You should describe how big a character is in terms of height" "You should describe how big a character is in terms of weight" I am going to describe how big a character is in terms of what fluid volume they would occupy if rendered down into goo.
Okay, why can I still see the shape in the decolored version of D? The others are maybe at best but D is very clear.
colorblindness check! make sure you can see all of the shapes in the circles; if not, that might mean you've lost some of your ability to see color!
my last game is actually overwatch haha… wbu?
in mesopotamia there were no 'cover letters' or 'curriculum vitaes'. there were just, pots.
Conference talk I'm at right now opened with a banger
Question: how did you get the link to agree with the claim? This is a one question quiz. Naturally, that means it is probably based on some obscure lore, so I trust you, but how?
hello homestuck kinnies that live in my computer
i finally went ahead and made a classpect quiz based on my personal conception of how things work. that means it's probably one of the more accurate classpect quizzes out there. consists of two parts. 20 questions total. go take it, share it, argue about it, whatever. have fun.
