Alright! So now that Moon Knight episode one is out I’d like to talk about it!

So first off! I thought that it was actually incredibly well written and portrayed D.I.D. almost perfectly. It showcased a lot of the issues most of us deal with (the waking up somewhere else, the sleep issues in general, the paranoia, the awkwardness of not knowing whats going on so you cant tell people whats wrong and such, and the just general questioning of reality). It was honestly extremely similar for us when we first started discovering the system and stuff.

So yea! I definitely liked it and am really excited to see where the rest of it goes!

But! I’ve already seen some posts and stuff about Steven and I want you all to remember that Steven is a grown man. While yes he may be confused and not know what’s going on do not treat him like some poor thing that needs to be protected at all costs. He’s just trying to live his life while slowly discovering the other alters in the system!

I would also like to mention please please please don’t refer to the alters as personalities! Personalities is a term originating from when D.I.D. used to be called Multiple Personality Disorder. The name for the disorder was changed because of new research and the fact that we are not personalities!!! Alters are their own people and you should not refer to them as personalities!!!

hi im liu (or L.W.). my existance is kind of a big trigger for the system as a whole but im slowly working through that (i can say my first name now!) and i think im doing pretty well at it

i have this nice little scarf i found in the closet, its grey and dark ggrey with little green stripes in between the other stripes. i havent taken it off since i got frontstuck a few days ago. it reminds me of my scarf

sully and i are still only one person flitting between the two of us but tim thinks the same thing that happened with jay and skully will eventually happen to us (they split into two seperate alters) so that could be interesting

ive made a few friends from source and stuff its pretty nice to talk to people i know! i only really know about two of the irl friends we have because they were around before i went dormant. i hope i get un frontstuck soon and maybe i can make some more friends? thatd be cool.

give me begrudging disgruntled older brother frank langdon where the entire ED crew goes out and abby meets the med students and just in tired mom mode decides that yes these are her responsibility now too

she starts packing lunches for frank to take with him to give out to them (doesnt pack frank a lunch ofc, he just grabs a granola bar or an apple mr "ill just grab smth at work")

she gives them all her number and frequently checks in to make sure theyre sleeping enough and getting enough food

for their birthdays she drags them all out to celebrate

and frank's just there for the ride, he cant say no to his wife so he starts checking on them too

so now he just has four little ducklings following him around asking him for snacks and asking to come over after shift to spend time with his kids
