i definitely dont mean a dissociative disorder specialist. i just mean a normal therapist. because even tho you might not have headmates as the result of trauma its still a neurodivergency and getting help with figuring the best way of working with your neurodivergency and figuring out and getting the accomodations you need in day to day life should be a priority for anyone.
gonna be so real
i think the only issue i really have with endogenic systems is that most are not willing to see a therapist or get professional help and theyre not willing to face the idea that they may actually have trauma or another mental health issue causing their system symptoms
i have the same issue with self diagnosed traumagenic systems that discount anything their therapists say if they bring up any other disorder first before DID/OSDD
like yall
for your health and wellbeing please be open to other options andnplease seek professional help to help navigate this stuff
like you wouldnt be like yea i have ehler danlos syndrome and not seek professional help because youre scared it could be an autoimmune disorder instead
why tf do endos treat being a system like its an identity that you can pick and choose to label? why do they constantly push the transphobic rhetoric of using "traumascum" to refer to traumatized individuals that just dont want people to treat their symptoms like its fun?
being plural/being a system is nothing like being lgbtq+ and i really think we need to stop treating it as such
yes we are a community, but this community is one formed on the basis of being traumatized as kids, its not based on something we choose to refer to ourselves as
we need to be there to support each other but not blindly. we need to help spread information to others with the symptoms so they can receive help.
you wouldnt treat people with personality disorders the way you treat systems so why is it acceptable to treat systems this way?
the peak of my art career
just a kind reminder to please be kind to the people you know with gastrointestinal disorders/conditions! they're embarassing, often very painful - sometimes debilitating - and very hard to talk about without oversharing a lot more than most are comfortable with.
if someone you know:
- spends a lot/long time in the restroom
- has a colostomy bag
- requires diapers or similar implements
- experiences a lot of gas and/or bloating
- requires tube feeding or other alternative methods of nutrition
- has food restrictions (e.g. cannot handle a lot of spices, certain proteins, etc.)
- eats a lot, or only a little
or other similar factors of their life...
please be patient and understanding, it's hard having guts that really like disagreeing with you!
lmao i'm gonna let you finish but these headcanos that make santos into a good person are hilarious. she already outted him as a drug user, now you want her to out him as trans without his permission christ.
oh trust me i dislike santos
but its less outing frank as trans and more confirming it after someone else accidentally outed him
it was more of a situation of someone needed to ask him caus he enjoys watching people squirm so its not like he wouldve ever actually straight up said it
y’all i started watched Our Flag Means Death today and HOLY CRAP!! i love this show so much already and i’m only two episodes in.

ROBBY AND FRANK'S DYNAMIC ON THE PITT IS SO SIMILAR TO FRANK AND BILLY'S DYNAMIC IN THE PUNISHER TV SERIES
i was wondering why i like them so much and now i have my answer
Friendly reminder with Moon Knight coming out tomorrow;
While the cast have come forward to say they tried their best to portray this disorder, they still probably won’t get it completely. And that’s ok, because at least it’ll be better representation than anything else we’ve had (hopefully).
What won’t be ok is if any of you singlets out there start treating it like its not something that seriously affects a lot of people or if you start infantilizing one of the alters of the main character. There are so many of us systems out here who really want to enjoy this show but if a bunch of you non-systems decide to take this disorder and not do any proper research on it before talking about it you could be ruining so many of our experiences with this show. So please, just remember this show is portraying an actual disorder many people have and regardless of if you think you’re spreading good information or not always double check your facts with someone who actually has the disorder.
gonna be so for real aspen frost makes me want to support endos
like why are they out here calling people slurs and being ableist while trying to spread information, some of which is def misinformation
its gross and i dont enjoy them existing in the same sphere of beliefs as me
im celebrating my 21st bday by getting narc supply from arguing with uneducated people on tiktok
if they dont want to learn then theyll just have to deal with me pestering them and wasting their time 🥰
