I am so glad the romance is actually going somewhere. I don't mind the slow place since we got the kiss. Also those little split moments in the village from more than one perspective? I really enjoyed that and finally some others know that she is a junior knight. 😊

Saturday Anime Line Up
Today was on of my Boy's birthday so we went out for Hot Pot and Korean BBQ. We ate sooo much food that everyone crashed when we got home. 😋
Not me though cause I have anime to watch! Oh and also I was doing all the cooking so I hardly ate. On to the anime!😁

I love how we go from one mystery right into another one in this series. It keeps each episode interesting! I love that Kagayama was actually on this case fully instead of just hearing about it. I really did think he was the sacrifice though. Still white suits this ep were popular for sure!😆

So I usually watch this early but I watched it after A-Rank and compared this ep seemed so much longer so I guess they made up for each other.😄
Anne is growing up much faster than I remember too, but then again it was the live action series and it was so long ago. Still five years since she arrived at Green Gables. A lot has happened but I love that she is still a boisterous girl at heart.🥰

its been so long since I read this arc in the manga that I forgot what part of the twist was. I knew that it had something to do with Mustard Gas, but part of it was still lost on me. Still I was excited to see Sebastian flex for a little bit.😈

I love the ending of Kuroshitsuji this season so much so I end up listening to Waltz a lot and it kind of grew on me enough to check out the official and man is it a throw back to the 2000 emo phase. It was sentimental in so many ways but again I don't think I could vibe with it on my playlist.🤔

This was an interesting episode that gave Miwa a chance to shine beyond being clingy to Akihiro. Taking care of Sakurako showed that she isn't so shallow as we think and that she can care...at least she knew that it wasn't the time to do whatever in the dark cause of her cycle.😶

This episode was both amusing and informative. Poor Koichi still being called the Cruller, seriously he should have made his name not in English and Fist grandpa. I mean I could not stop laughing! 😆
Then his senpai turns out to be related to the police inspector and she is a damn walking polygraph...but for some reason it didn't work? Interesting.🤔

Its laundry day and man I am already tired and I only did three loads! Having a house of five is hard sometimes. It sucks too cause its gonna rain till the weekend so i can't even put anything out on the line! So much money and energy wasted going to the laundry mat.😓

This episode kind of had a pretty good message in between the jokes and silliness. I feel that 99% situation every day at my job cause that 1% is so rare that when it does happen you honestly believe that it isn't happening at all. Also just as rare is when that 1% rises.😳

Happy Mother's Day to any other moms out there! I was surprised with breakfast made by my youngest son which was really yummy! I gave my mom her present which I smartly bought in March cause I knew I could be broke by May and I was right.😩

I mean its dark in some places too cause of poor Ageha having the thoughts that he isn't gonna be around and needs to succeed to Regulus but still passing out cause he was sewing picture books for his little brother to learn? My heart! I am low key hoping that we meet the gardener/sword master's grand son's next week and Ageha teaches them to play nice as well!🥰

I not gonna lie. I didn't think this was going to go the way it did. I did not see that coming at all so that took my whole idea about how this side story plays into the end of ep 4 is so far gone that I am back to square one.😵

Okay I have mixed feelings about this episode. On the one hand I knew what the outcome was going to be cause plot be plot driven but still I think that Oguri should have had more say in everything properly. Like the other school should have approached her not the trainer and then if she made the decision based on those kinds of feelings it would be alright to push her into a corner a little. I don't know.😶

Technically this is a Saturday anime but it comes out so late for the West and so early for the East that I'm just gonna keep it on Sunday. That being said, I am enjoying this one. Its not the best by far, and the fanservice is not needed for the story, but the idea that the Guide is trying to ruin Banfield's life so he can enjoy the misery and negativity and its backfiring on him like crazy is quite amusing!🤭
Internet is finally chill so I can get this and Monday's up in one piece. Man was that annoying all weekend.😤

How can an anime go from making me groan from over done bad jokes to making my cry and need to grab multiple tissues? Ugh, its bad enough that I can't figure out the mysteries even though the clues are really there, I sucked at Encyclopedia Brown mysteries as a kid too, but for the real culprit to be a complete piece of shit that was only thinking of himself? This is almost as mind blowing as me realizing Kaji Yuki-san is the voice of Kagayama which is practically unrecognizable since it is pitched so low!🤯

When I was in high school I had a crush on this boy and he liked black hair. I always had dark brown almost black but I hated it and kept dying it shades of red for years. He was always looking at girls with black hair so I went to dye mine black and it was a huge mistake so I really felt for Anne. The dye was like tar and it ruined my hair for a long time. That guy ended up being an abusive jerk too that I had to get away from in the end. We all make mistakes in our youth. I guess that is the moral from both me and the anime.😅
Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru
I felt for Beryl in this one. That pain of seeing someone as a child in your eyes that has been hurt or abused and feeling helpless when you didn't cause the situation but now they don't trust anyone so they push you away. It's heartbreaking to go through but i am glad that in the end Mewi decided to at least give him a chance.😥
Kowloon Generic Romance
Wow. That was a lot to unpack. First poor Gwen. Miyuki is clearly being controlled by his dad. They had one night and then bam luggage. Now he's in Kowloon...or what we know as Kowloon. Yamae seems to be another anomaly and now that Reiko wants to leave Kudo-san lost it for a second. We are finally getting more piece to this puzzle and as to what that thing is in the sky too. Curiouser and curiouser as Alice said.🤔

Wow, that was closest Ciel ever got other than the end of S1 to be one with Sebastian. He said 90% but we know...😏
Anyway...Ciel is back and in Hakushaku form so this village has another thing coming if they think they will be chasing out the Phantomhive household. Oh and Ciel was cute asking everyone to forget he was acting his age for the last few episodes. Like we would.😉

I ended up eating late so I naturally put this one off till I did and man was I smart to! Even though it seemed pretty tame of food for most of the episode all that seafood and the barbeque on the beach? I was drooling! Imagine if those oysters were clams though! Ugh, raw clams are my fav but I stay away from them now cause with the warming of the oceans you can get really sick now sadly.😩
Man that took forever to finish. Damn wifi. It took so long that some of my anime from Sunday already came out in Japan!😕

Ugh my heart for the second week in a row! I honestly thought we were going to go throw hands with Tsubaki-chan but nope, we got an even better reason for their background story, although I cannot wait to see a fight too.🤭

Also I swear to the anime Gods that is my man Sakurai Takahiro-san as the voice of the Guide but the anime is too new to find that info anywhere! If not than its Uchiyama Kouki-san cause they sound a lot alike. Ugh, being an seiyū otaku can be painful at times.😓

Can we also talk about the adopted son of Lankan? Adopted or not he looks just like his daddy and acts like him too in his mannerisms. I wonder if he is seen as a chess piece or not. Lankan himself losing it finding out his daughter is gone was the best moment of the whole show.🤣

Is It Osomatsu Summer Yet?

Okay so I don't really want it to be cause where i live I am going to be miserable buuuuuuut, the Summer Anime Season is where I am looking cause among my many returning animes is Osomatsu-san, a pretty niche anime in the West but beloved by Japan so much that is made a come back 80 years later and is now on it's 4th season!😲
Originally called Osomatsu-kun back in the 60's, Osomatsu-san is about six identical sibling brothers and their daily lives of being NEETS and a burden on the world they live in. It's a slice of life that can be really funny if you get the jokes. It has an amazing cast including my number one seiyū Sakurai Takahiro- san! As per usual he is the one that got me into watching this anime! He voices the oldest Matsu brother and is the namesake of the series as a whole!
Although they do wear matching outfits at times as a nod to the original anime they are color coded and have unique personalities to tell them apart. Here listed are the names, colors, personalities and who voices them.
Sakurai Takahiro-san does the voice of the biggest NEET out of all of the brothers. He's also addicted to Pachiko.
Also the voice of Gojo sensei, Nakamura Yūichi-san gives this brother a cool nature...or tries to.
Kamiya Hiroshi-san is the voice of kind of the most boring brother for me. I don't know he just does not stand out as much as the others in personality.
Fukuyama Jun-san bring this eternally depressed brother to life and he is low key probably my second fav brother.
Knowing Ono Daisuke-san, there was no yellow highlight color, from a character like Sebastian Michelas it threw me for such a loop to hear him, and see his live, voice such a dopey airheaded character. Like it really showed his range to me!
The youngest and most adorable brother and my third fav he actually has a job and tries to be the opposite of his oldest brother. He is voiced by Irino Miyu-san.
There are a ton of live events too from the series and even not translated you can see how much fun everyone is having and really getting into their character. This is why I say when you change a seiyū for a character you are not just changing their voice but you are changing the whole character so it is not the same anymore.😖
They often go on stage with their counterparts from the anime and have contests and silly games they play which I end up laughing so hard at cause these are grown ass men near my age and they act like this for a living! Ugh, so jealous!
Anyway so that's my post on one of my fav anime series as well as the seiyū's who voice it. I don't know who is gonna get to the end of this but I hope if not the anime itself you will have more appreciation for the people that give the characters life. That's the true goal of an seiyū otaku.
Tuesday/Wednesday Anime Line Up
I decided to take a break on Wednesday and just relax and hang out with no end time in mind. I don't do that very often so my anime watching was put off till yesterday. It was nice though so my guilt is minimal for self imposed responsibility of my posts.🤭
Aru Majo ga Shinu made
So after my post last week I was not looking forward to this weeks episode at all and honestly I did not watch it. It didn't help that I watched Gigguk's Spring Anime in a Nutshell vid and saw that he was on the same wave length as me. If Meg can only collect the tear from people that she affects specifically this is going to get dragged on and while I get the point is also for a life lesson, I just can't, I'm out.😓

Air cons look so much easier to handle in Japan than here in the West. They don't get in the way and they actually are in a place that makes sense cause cold air falls. Residents got a good lesson in how to clean and maintain them too! 🤗

Sunday Anime Line Up
So because of the semi curse of being biologically female all my plans for today were thwarted by pain. I'm pissed too cause i went to bed right after watching all my anime yesterday with a full plan in mind and I only got two hours of sleep before the pain kicked in and it is still going, although thanks to drugs it is a little better now.😩

This is an anime that started late in the season, 20 April, but after a 3 ep ruling I am all in. I know from the manga covers online that the MC will lose weight but I find it amusing that the translation of the title in English leaves out something very important. Shiro means white and buta is pig, specifically when you are slandering someone. The English title is Reincarnated as a Neglected Noble: Raising My Baby Brother With Memories From My Past Life. Can you see what's missing? Yeah, yeah for Western white washing cause in the anime it is an important piece of information.😒
That being said I am in love with Regulus, the little brother, I felt so much for Ageha when he met him and how adorable he looks. Also every time I hear Nii-chan my heart hurts in a good way.😤
Oh and the parents are absolute trash and I am going to love hating them.😈

I hate when anyone in anime/manga feels like they are holding someone back and does the dumb shit of sacrificing themselves either by their own choice or being influenced by other people who think their shit doesn't stink. He is pushing Oguri into a corner cause he has been convinced it is for her own good but like every character before him or after him he is going to fail and either it will cost him something or destroy the one he is trying to protect. 🙄

I was a little confused about the fight scene in the elevator cause it was animated at such a slow speed but then again in such an small enclosed space and with so many people in there I guess realistically you can't have a high speed flashy fight and make it feel real.🤔

Saturday Anime Line Up
I was watching my last anime before posting and a fucking spider showed up on my shoulder, crawled through my hair and went on my chair. I have arachnophobia and I screamed for my kids and froze in the middle of t he room and could not move. Ugh, it was so terrible! I was snotting like a five year old and crying and my son's boyfriend had to comfort me while he killed the spider and got it out the room. 😭
Okay i've calmed down now so let's get to the list...that's a lie i keep looking over my shoulder like a dead spider is gonna come back and get revenge on me.😖

So it took a few more episodes but i am all in on this one now. I forgot how amusing Miyano-san is when he plays a fully dialed up character. i think the last one was from Zombieland Saga. It's been a while since i laughed like that.😄

So Anne of Green Gables was written in 1908 and Polly Anna was written in 1913. I can't help but to compare the two heroines since they have similar outlooks on life. Considering the time frames neither author probably knew of each other especially since one was in Canada and the other in the North East. Plus Polly Anna's author passed in 1920 so she was much older when published. Its just kind of fascinating though don't ya think?🤓

I don't know why people think this is a harem anime. Like yeah the Allucia and Surena are into him but the others just revere him like a father figure. He also clearly has no interest in anyone and Beryl is too busy giving life lessons any way to think of romance. Also what a surprise, the church sucks.🙄

Well now. That was interesting. I honestly thought the women in the film was Yomae and she got plastic surgery to look different so she didn't get recognized but it was a whole other reason! I also prefer the fake version of my birthstone, rose quartz, to the real one, opal, because I always thought it shone more.🤔
If you missed it go back and watch after the ED cause holy shit did we get some info and background story that I am still trying to process! Also Kujou B is really nothing like Reiko at all other than slight resemblance. You can tell especially in their personalities and when they smile so why the confusion. They really only share a name.😶

I love when Sebastian does Sebastian things! Also we got that ceiling scene from the manga and mirror!Ciel as it were. There is so much spoiler in that moment if you know what to look for. Oh and seeing the knight piece also reminded me of this figure that i have!🥰

I'm alive! I needed all that time off to just chill, hang with my kids and their friends, met another one named Twig and they were a lot but every one had fun so that's what mattered.🤭
Yesterday I was finally productive after three days and cleaned up my kitchen a little and made a bomb ass dinner of BBQ pork quesadillas and BBQ pork pasta with veggies. I had a lot of pork. 😋
Today I managed to get dishes done and some cleaning in the kitchen and i feel like I got rewarded by not having to work with that horrible manager all next week! I'll take that as a win! Now lets get to the anime!🤗

So I noticed some watchers are complaining that. Jinta is not advancing the main story right now, but honestly if he was that one track minded I would have no interest in this anime at all. I think that all the demons that he is dealing with are part of the bigger story and in the end each moment will be an influence of some kind to the final encounter he will have with his Suzune. 😤

Can I tell you how much i was dying this episode! Like my daughter was excited that Ida's older brother was there and he was just as nerdy as she expected. Also the bonus of seeing young Ida even if it was only his conversation with a tree.😆

I was on the fence about this one but the third ep pretty much cemented it and funny enough there were no tears collected at all! it was more about meeting the people that will help Meg on her journey to collect them. I think that is what made it most enjoyable. As she collects more of them I think that will help me settle in even more.😁
Ballpark de Tsukamaete!
Every story just gets better and better I swear! We got to meet the announcer this ep and another one of the players and I hope that is a thing. They hinted but you never know with anime.😉
The other two let Reiko be a detective to try and figure out who the culprit of compliments was and the answer was even better than i had hoped! I was giggling so much at the end of the episode! So fun!🤭

This anime is fast becoming one of my Top Five for this season! I am constantly surprised how quickly it ends and how good each episode is! This anime is starting to blow I-Robot out of the water. The Ai and how they think and behave are so mind blowing! Like they are Ai as in having to watch another human attack another human and unable to do anything cause it violates the Three Laws of Robotics or rather Respect as its called here is insane. So each demon that he kills, even honorably, Jinta takes in a part of them and their power. That's interesting. This was a sad episode though for all demons involved including Jinta. The only silver lining was the revenge he got for the husband cause when I heard those pieces of shit talking at the end laughing about how she called her husbands name till the end...I wanted a katana.😤

A few blasts from the past...uh future in this ep. I had to ask my daughter which ones were up and coming teachers. She pointed out Ida's brother and Todoraoki's dad and that the girl with the whip was a teacher! Also when she found out the time line that we were five years before the main series she started telling me where all the characters were. I was kind of impressed!🤓

Random Manga Rant *Spoilers for Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi Manga*
So other than Yaoi/BL and lately Villainess reincarnation manhwa I don't read manga. Like I prefer to watch the anime then read it. I tried with a few and I ended up abandoning then for the anime so yeah waste of money sadly.😓
I don't really read them online either just in case them become anime nor do I continue the manga is the anime season ended...well actually there are three exceptions to this. Kuroshitsuji, Hataku Saibou Black, and Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi aka Redo of Healer.😈
Before ya'll come for me let me explain a bit. Despite the world's opinions I enjoyed Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi. The mistake I think the anime made was not explaining till episode three why Keyaru was doing what he did. In the ep it was shown how badly he was abused in the past by practically everyone in that kingdom especially the so called heros and the imperial court. I mean they all deserved death.😒
Unfortunately people see what they want to see and they just saw a guy having his way with a bunch of girls using excuses. While I am not dismissing it completely no one talk about all the guys that did things to Keyaru for no reason other than a power trip and of course Bullet who repeatedly R-worded him and then tried to kill him cause he didn't want him to be tainted anymore and die young and beautiful. Then right before death he would apologize for loving him too much and the cycle began again.🤬
Surprisingly there are no gifs for this bastard of any of the abuse that happened cause people want to focus of the girls of course but man I want to call Jotaro to take care of this dude like he did Dio so badly! *Spoiler* He still isn't down in the manga/light novel either which is at volume 10 and is why I decided to rant! Like come on can we just end this the(rapists) life already?!😤
Okay calming down a bit now. I think I was triggered by *Spoiler* Bullet telling Keyaru that giving up his mortality is all for them to spend eternity together in the embrace of their love. Like this piece of shit wants to trap Keyaru forever with him and I think he is going to turn him immortal as well or at least undead in order to achieve his selfish one sided goal. Like gaslighting at its finest for making the victim believe it is all for the good of them. Ugh, I'm gonna be sick.😣
*Deep breath* I hate that I care for 2D characters so much sometimes but although he isn't a cinnmon roll and certainly can protect himself, I still get that protec feeling for Keyaru for all he has been through with Bullet especially. I know in Japan the LN is up to Vol 16 so I can just pray that Bullet gets bullet soon.😩

Man yesterday was killer. Because of how much spring cleaning I did on Sat, I slept till I had to work on Sunday so I didn't watch any anime until I got out of work, but I went to my friends house to be her private chef so I was not near my computer either to post when I was done.😩

I kind of knew the end of the race cause it was too soon but when we saw those kicks I understood even more. It was nice to see at least one of the three bullies back off now, the red head of course, and in full tsundere mode which I am here for always.🤭

Fri-Saturday Anime Line Up
It has been a productive Spring Vacation so far! We got the whole dining room done except for my desk and figure shelves AND half the back porch which is a really big job! I am exhausted but it is a good exhausted. 😁
Squeee another character voiced by Sakurai-san! *ahem* My bad. Anyway, also went out to lunch with my Sis in law as I mentioned in another post, got treated too which was a surprise. We went thrifting after too and even though I was a bust, my daughter landed three binder like sports bras and a pair of basketball shorts for less that $40 for everything!🤯
Then since I was treated to lunch, I treated frozen coffee from Ready Coffee which is 10 times better than Dunkin crap as well as a better price. Now relaxing after I turned a $12 chuck roast into steaks for everyone with curry rice, spinach, and sautéed onions and mushrooms...I watch my last anime while eating too, it is time for my anime watch list for the day!😋

Technically I watch this on Friday, but I don't have another anime that day so I'm popping it in here. Speaking of popping...Jinshi is popping off with Maomao a lot more. He is super excited that she needs him and just beams when she has to ask him for help. In the end though, he just wants her to wear the hair pin he gave her in S1.🤭
Since the Precious Concubine is my best girl I am worried about her right now but with Maomao bringing in her personal GOAT I feel so much better.😌

Falsehoods, friends, and school...well maybe no school were crammed into this 23 min ep and I was shocked that is flowed so well! We all knew that Anne was not guilty and I was waiting to see how that was going to unfold. Then she finally made friends and established herself as intelligent only to have an upstart possibly ruin it for her...well Anne is a bit of a drama llama but we get you Anne and it is frustrating.😫

After today this made the 3 ep cut cause I laughed so hard at this ep! Between sanitizing eyes, forked tongue, same room but two different personalities, and wait...he kissed her but he has him? Yeah this one is in like Flynn.😲
Oh and can I just say how much Sugita-san's voice gives me chills when he speaks cause he can be a fool one second and seductive the next! I feel for Reiko so much.😳

As A reader of this manga I know things...yeah I did that, but no I do and I forgot that part of what I know, and the others that read too, showed up in today's ep but seeing it animated made it so much more real than it is at the volume 33!🧐

I have fics where I have researched for hours and even days for it and no one ever noticed at all which is really heart breaking for someone that enjoys details like that so I am glad that this person appreciates hard work like this.😓
I love, love, LOVE it when I can tell a fic author has integrated their specialized knowledge in a fic. I was reading a fic that at some point included the character going to visit an art therapist, and it's so clear that the author is an art therapist themself, and the details included are just immaculate and I love it. I've previously read about a character doing fencing for no other reason than the author clearly wanting to write a sport they understood. A character being given a hyperfixation on bugs just so the author can infodump themselves.
I eat it up every time, it brings such a smile to my face

A Bit of Help Needed
Ignoring that last line in the gif, I do need a deep breath for this post. So I have been dealing with writer's block for a while...like two year really and I'm kind of getting tired of it cause I have a bunch of story idea that I want to write, but i refuse to start anything else until I finish or at least get back to writing a few chapters of the fics I have active.😓
That being said I am kind of stuck on a few as to what direction to go in. I've asked a few people but had no real feedback and no one really leave comments that are helpful on AO3 so I figured that i would put it here too. For context I write anime fics mostly in the Daiya no Ace fandom. I also do some in Haikyuu, Free!, and Kuroshitsuji. I even have a few fics with more than one fandom in it which sounds crazy, but with the characters and their personalities it really works out some how!😁
