The legend of the vampire was started by a cocky vampire who told stories about himself around the campfire,spreading the tales of pale skinned predators who couldn't go out during the day. Half the time he was lying about their weaknesses,laughing as the church went on crusades trying to find his species And then continuing to tell the stories throughout the evolution of mankind. Laughing as more and more humans became infatuated with the thought of beautiful bloodsuckers coming to whisk them away.
