okay so basically i think ppl going insane on tiktok rn over what jayce did is understandable like yes killing (?) your ex situationship is insane but also... in s1 jayce PROMISED viktor to destroy the core and he didnt bc he wanted to keep viktor and in s2 when he was inside of the hexcore he literally saw the most horrific parts of it (hence why he looks so maddened) and that shit in his head repeating about promising he'd do it refers to the hexcore and the fact viktor has BECOME the hexcore; he's just upholding the promise he made to viktor

and also jayce is quite impulsive and reckless we know this so... parallel to when he killed that kid in s1 that looked like baby viktor? possibly!
