“Latin was held in Borden House, a small frame house on the other side of the Aglionby campus from Welch Hall, the main academic building.”
early school mornings outside the latin classroom.
who am I even sad for?…
"The nonbinary afab who goes by she/her, dresses femininely, and uses a push-up bra when I—" when you what? What's wrong with her?
Is she not nonbinary enough for you? Is the way she experiences her queerness and how she presents not perfect enough for you? Nonbinary people don't owe you androgyny, right? So why is she the exception? Why does she have to hate herself to appeal to your standards? Why is she any less trans—any less worthy of respect—cause it's "not visible"? Queer solidarity my ass. Don't spout this bullshit on Pride, man.
I've been procrastinating starting the magnus protcol for the past week and a half mostly due to the fact that after 200 episodes of tma I have finally been freed from jonny's grasp, I touched grass for the first time in two months, I could finally look at doors without bursting into tears. Anyways just started tmagp episode one and started vibrating from joy, I apologize for my insolence, I shall go back to worshiping the scary british people in my ears like a good little soldier.
When Sasha hosts her first D&D session, Michael isn’t invited, really, but it shows up regardless; clutching a character sheet and set of resin dice whose insides swirl around in a way that gives everyone a headache. Jon is ready to kick it out immediately, but Sasha vouches for it, and somehow they begin the game with it in their party.
None of them claim to know the Distortion, but they expected a chaotic character — a wild mage or barbarian, maybe. They don’t expect a lore bard, especially not a human one, and especially not one of such a kindly demeanor. It’s strange, watching Michael switch between voicing its character and describing its actions to Sasha, as though they’re actually playing with two distinct Spiral avatars instead of one.
As the campaign continues, they discover just how many little details it put into its character. He likes colorful tunics and warm scarves. He thinks lilies are pretty. He’s somehow “more of a doormat than Martin”, as Tim puts it. He was an acolyte before becoming an adventurer. Dungeons and Dragons is a game all about constructing elaborate lies wrapped around a grain of truth, after all.
And if Jon Knows something about this character, this strange creation that seems to fit Michael like a second skin, he chooses not to say.
You know you're a writer when you’ve had entire conversations in your head with your characters but can’t remember what you had for breakfast.
hello frog that is morally ambiguous what is your dnd alignment
I think that as a person I'm very chaotic good, though my decision could be biased because that's also just my favourite alignment to play
About to start the next episode and -
How would I explain this to someone??
