Cherry blossom time! New week and many things to do, let's see how it goes :)
A little tulip heart my dad planted for my mom in their garden :’)
Went to Vienna in February '25 to visit the archive and attend a conference. The archive wasn't very successful, so instead I saw lots of impressionist art!
Today's vibe: Reading, studying & eating strawberry cake 🍰
Day 43
2025.4.15
Classes start today.
Feeling a bit apprehensive because I decided to take as many classes as possible this semester, and it's going to be tough. But as much as I love studying, and as much as I worry about the future, I really really want to get closer to the finish line.
On top of my classes, I also need to come up with a research question for my master's thesis (hence the book in the picture – hoping for some inspiration). I have a few ideas, but so far, I'm not in love with any of them.
At least the weather's nice! (although we desperately need some rain...)
I want to get back to posting here
my life has been quite exciting. I’ve had so much progress. and I’ve been in love with life this past year.
my goals until the end of the year are to find my routines especially with food and excercise. I’d love to get back to learning Korean and I’ll be taking some classes which are church related. excited for those :))

“That’s life. You’re always making decisions, taking paths that lead you away from the rest before you can see where they end. Maybe that’s why we as a species love stories so much. All those chances for do-overs, opportunities to live the lives we’ll never have.”

Studying, studying and more studying. Can't complain though, what I'm reading is very interesting. I only wish deadlines didn't exist.

Château de Montimer, France (by Denis)
On this day, 28th January, in 1813, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen was published.
It was bound in three handsome volumes and priced at 18 shillings. Though it wasn’t an instant bestseller, its reputation soon began to grow.
spent three hours creating a class facilitation about deleuze for my post-structuralism class !
the class went really well, and my professor complimented my discussion questions and work! i love being able to show people about philosophical topics and make it relevant and more accessible !
I believe that the little things can change your life. Like when you decide to change your old orange toothbrush to a new purple toothbrush. Like when you notice that your music playlist makes you feel like ocean breeze instead of summertime sadness. Like when you notice the sunlight isn't harsh so a walk out might be good. When you comb your hair every night and brush your teeth before bed and apply your lipbalm and when you notice you are the only one who does. You know you care more for yourself than you think. That's how life changes. By noting the little things and making the slight changes. Notice how you deleted the contact instead of blocking it? How you wrote the shitty poem instead of forgetting it? How you studied for five minutes when that's all you could give? How you pray everyday now when religion used to be only a question? How about the times you decided to just sit close to your loved ones but without talking you just scrolled yt because words failed you? All these things that you did, the little changes you could afford, that feels like rain with grey skies amidst sunshine, a favorite scenery, your little life is decorated without your own knowledge. I think that's a little big thing.
This is temporary. You have not stagnated. You are not a failure. You will heal, you will recover, you will have a beautiful life. It is waiting for you.

imagine how i managed to get a tarot client from a spanish lesson? we were asked to introduce ourselves and the teacher asked what I did for a living and I was like "How does one officially say that they read tarot cards for people?" lol
it's very literal, by the way - "Leo las cartas del Tarot"
we had a small talk about our professions and then one of my classmates asked if i had whatsapp or something so she could get a reading! i hope that this inspires you to just "do the thing" because this wouldn't have happened if i didn't bully myself into buying the spanish lessons!
what i did today 📤:
gym session with my sister (1.5hr)
bought new skincare products bc i'm breaking out again
ancestral reading for a new client
spanish revision + input (1hr)
duolingo (15min and 488 day streak)
