My Palm Sunday creation. Mixed gem chips dress up the cactus wood cross, even has an optional detachable choker to wear. Check out the bluebird feathers on cross. This is a commissioned piece. Yep I gotta make more👍🏼
My mama has been gone just over a year now. I'm so glad to have spent most of my life with her. Me as a child, adult, mother myself, and as a married woman with a couple more kids. The opportunity to have her help raise our children into their own adulthood was awesome. Yep truly blessed. And that old cat of hers is still with us and still missing ma as much as we do. Heart n soul filled with love that was my mama.
Jade goddess with jade beads, coral, shell, glass beads, ceramic beads, tree seeds and sterling silver clasp. Made for Jeanne our yogi.
That’s right! 🤩
Gifts picked out today and went to good home.
Various gemstone bracelets. Mixed with glass seed beads, crystals, shells, mix of metals. Clasps vary from boxed, hook n eye, magnet, toggle styles. Wrist size 7” 8”
My greens, both longer necklaces with stone bear fetish to remind of the mama and baby bears in Yosemite. I love them at a safe distance.
Another indoor rainy day creation. Turquoise, coral, magnesite, shells, pearls, sterling silver clasp toggle.
Those tiny beads made from shells.
Contemporary Jewelry Handmade in Northern California from the Highest Quality Natural MaterialsI like using strong beading wire, mixed metals, leather, I love turquoise, shells, various gemstones, crystals, bone, ceramic, acrylic beads and good strong crimp beads are a must. There are so many product options out there.I decided to limit my products to mostly North American regions and Mexico. I remember when I first started I purchased some Chinese turquoise and wasn’t too pleased. Then I learned a few of my vendors were selling me Chinese stuff too. There are some quality gemstones mined in China. However knowing the distance traveled made me reconsider and stay within our continent. It’s a big one anyway. Jewelry making helps me relax, I find it therapeutic. My back and fingers get sore but it’s all worth it when I see someone wearing something I’ve made. Darn right Joyous!
