I love love the idea of Ricky being crafty, I mean, he made a centerpiece with flowers and a fucking molcajete! As a Mexican I can say that this is the type of centerpiece that I would fight against my aunts to take home. I think Ricky just takes a bunch of random things and just creates fun decorations when he's bored.

It was such a good centerpiece!! I'm a little sad we didn't get to see the rest of the theater group being impressed with it. Like he learns how to make braided friendship bracelets and makes them when he watches TV. He's made a lot of Popsicle stick art and makes his mom gifts for mothers day/her birthday/Christmas. He totally learns how to knit after visiting his mom. He's got a little corner of the house that is just dedicated to his crafting stuff. Before the move, everyone who visited assumed it was Lynne's. But now that it's in the apartment... It's clearly Ricky's. He makes a lot of fake flowers because he knows he and his dad would kill real flowers but they brighten the space up! And every decoration he makes, Mike hangs.
