Remember.
Never again.
Israeli soldiers have executed disabled Palestinian youth Mohammed Salah Bahar in cold blood after confining him in his family home for a week.

Anyway if nothing else matters then I hope people remember that Pope Francis used his last public address to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and call Israel a terrorist state:
"I continue to receive very serious and painful news from Gaza. Unarmed civilians are subjected to bombings and shootings. It is terrorism."

You might be more than one. You might be different ones at different times. 🫶🏽🫶🏽 you might not be one of these. There are more roles 💪🏽 but this is an amazing intro.
You can’t just like the idea and envision yourself in one of these roles you have to figure out how to be about it ♥️🫶🏽

i don't wanna sound hopeless but i feel like so many of you don't care or have stopped caring about palestine.
the news of hospitals being bombed, children being massacred, people dying from the cold, and the famine spreading in gaza does not seem enough to grab attention or make people care.
what new tragedy needs to befall gaza for you to start talking about it? the occupation kills a child every few minutes. people are cold and are starving. refugee camps are being bombed with bombs that can level city blocks.
this all happens because of all of us. we are complicit in this genocide because our governments use the taxes we pay to send weapons to the occupation. weapons that are used to kill children and impose a blockade that is starving 2 million people.
the very fact that we're still going about our days when all of this is going on breaks my heart. especially because we have failed to stop our governments from using our money to arm israel.
i urge you, please be generous and donate to suad and her baby khaled. he is just six months old and suad is unable to find any formula for him. if she finds anything, it is extremely expensive. the baby also needs warm clothes and is suffering from a respiratory problem and needs a nebulizer.
@suad-khaled has been verified [#279]
please help suad and her baby boy

I love my mum. Even when she enters my room the exact moment I relax.
She’s the one who supports me even when I act as a dumbass.
The one who will always eat what I make, even if it’s a disaster.

sorry followers :(
You're filled with IMMAGINATION!
I read hers and her brother story when I was in middle school. I cried, till I had no more tears.
During that time we also had class discussions, homework, personal studies and thesis on books like “The White Rose” ( a book about Sophie and Christofer School and their movement, wrote by their family ), “A Bag full of Marbles” (the autobiography of a French Jewish kid escaping the nazi persecution), “If this is a Man” (the autobiography of a Italian Jewish man slaving in a concentration camp) and so many others.
Little me red this books so many times, striving to be the person that would have helped in those moments, believing that all the adults had also learned this lesson and that collectively we were striving for a better, more united future. All of that, NEVER AGAIN.
But now I see all of these people, those ““adults”” whom should know better, being the worst possibile insults to humanity I have ever seen.
But I still strive to be the person that will help. The one that will help student protest, that will help children despite different backgrounds, that will help men and women who are persecuted.
And they will never take this from me. Because I learned. Because I see.
And because I promise myself that it would never happen again.
Her beautiful, extraordinary diary is available on Internet Archive. It was a transformative read for me, and her legacy has inspired my activism so much. Reading it, you can't help but be stunned by the brilliance and ferocity of her mind, and moved by the photos of her and her friends, all so earnest and wise beyond their years.
Hi everyone, wanted to boost Ahmed's fundraiser which has reached 85% of the goal (thanks to all who donated and shared thus far đź©·)!!
However, we still have a ways to go - as of now, we are less than €15k away from reaching the goal of €100k! We are closer than ever before, but we still need that final push to ensure that this family has what they need to endure the ongoing genocide until they are able to reach safety.
Ahmed is a loving and protective father and husband. He has 4 kids that need food, warm clothes, and shelter: Zeina (7 y/o), Eileen (6), Yamen (4) and Ronza (born in June 2024, so only a couple months old!!!)! Give this family hope for a better future and a better chance at accessing much needed goods, especially during this harsh winter. Help ease some of this immense burden that no person should ever have to face.
