Beneath their happy-go-lucky attitue, they keep a watchful eye on their surroundings for predators. If they are attacked, flexible bubbles secreted from their back and chest help to reduce any damage they take. As Froakie mature, they are emboldened by a newfound speed and swiftness. Their protective bubbles - dubbed frubbles - can also be used to attack; older Froakie often practice throwing bubble-covered stones, gaining precise control over time.

#657.5 - Frogadier are skilled marksmen, never missing a target when throwing bubbles - and eventually - when throwing water compressed into sharp-edged throwing stars. Their swiftness only increases with age; a fully mature Frogadier will appear and vanish with a ninja’s grace. As their skill increases, they no longer need their protective bubbles, and will only produce them in select areas of their body. As adults, Frogadier wear their long tongue around their next like a scarf, masking their face in an expression of their stoic nature. If necessary, they will use their ready tongue to attack.

gravity falls was such a great show for so many reasons but one in particular that stuck with me to this day was that it proudly encouraged kids to be weird. there was never the almost stifling message of "everyone is their own normal :)" because as a neurodivergent child that is almost never how it actually feels. it did an awesome job at saying "yeah, you stick out like a sore thumb. six of em, actually! how cool is that!?" and it encouraged you to support your loved ones weirdness even if you don't begin to understand it

Solo Travel: Quiet Time.

Even if you live alone, you probably don’t necessarily get lots of quality alone-time. There’ll be work, social feeds, friends, coworkers, and maybe even nearby family. There’ll be daily routines, podcasts, and the head-filling patterns of every day.

When you’re away somewhere—anywhere—the patterns break. Lunch is whenever, bedtime is whenever, you can turn off notifications and use the excuse that roaming charges are awful. You can tune out and have quiet time and be with yourself, and be yourself.

You can even have that quiet time in the noisiest of places—like a crowded festival city—because none of the noise matters. You won’t be monitoring for familiar voices, local rumours, local bullies, local anything. The noise will be chatter; a texture.

Aspec applications: Aspec travellers can have a little more to tune out than others. If you’re somewhere “vacationy” you’ll probably feel like you’re surrounded by allonormativity and amatonormativity, BUT it’s not impossible to tune out.

Those couples and throuples and families aren’t there to think about you, they’re there to worry about each other (and argue about menus and stress over a hundred other things). If anything, they’re probably a little jealous of how you have the freedom to really just be there. Give off your best “being there” vibe, and thrive on that until your concerns fade away and you can just enjoy being yourself again.
