Okay, so I found the thing I was looking for if anyone can explain this *rummaging through bag*
THIS. WHAT IS THIS.
They never mention it again, nothing ever happens with it (to my knowledge, though I've only played up to Obscuary) but it seems PRETTY IMPORTANT.
It happens right after the veil turns into a ring, Romeo shows up and so does this... Whatever it is.
It's real. It's there. Everyone can see it. Luca is even wary about MC for a bit because of it. But nothing. Actually. Happens.
How did it get there? Why was it there? Why did it disappear when the chancellor arrived? Why did Luca say it was our fault? What even is it? Where did it go?
It appeared right after Romeo shot his bullet and Luca used Ignaim. Ignnaim? Iggnaim? Ignaiim? Pretty sure there's some double letter in there.
Was it the rings way of protecting MC when it stopped being the Hera's Snakes? If it happened right after Luca used his stigma, is it connected to him?
Most importantly, why did literally no-one mention it? Right after it disappears, the only one to ever even remember it existed is Luca, and he gets over it pretty quickly.
Kaito never mentions it, and Romeo quickly recovers to chase after Kaito, (though I don't think he ends up being allowed to,) but it seems like a pretty damn important thing to ignore.
So, my question stands, what the hell was that?
Definitely one of the funniest feature discord has added.
WARNING! ANNOYING BITCH HAS BREACHED THE PERIMETER!!!
DO YOU WISH TO EVACUATE?
Part 4 of TDBK EP 11 spoilers and holy shit dude

How do u get "Alan Mido" from "Todoroki" vice versa? ???
Immediately and audibly went "oh shit yeah my bad"
Yeah he's just fucking with them. Also great idea taking them and not the ones who were actually doing the violence, so smart Leo 👏👏👏 round of applause for the smartest man in an empty room
TKDB spoilers EP 9
... I have never, in my entire life, heard the phrase "blowing smoke up our asses" until today. You can imagine how hard I laughed. My first thought is??? Bees??? But dude who says that.
Whoever the translator is for this game, they are doing a fantastic job.
Loving Kaito's attitude despite being knee deep in a shark tank rn
So, I'm about 7 seasons into SG-1, so spoilers for that, but I have a question.
Does anything cool ever happen to Sam the same way it does for the others?
Teal'c is an Alien who switched from having a larva to that injection thing, and he has a son, and he's fighting oppression from the Goa'ulds.
Daniel Jackson was on the first mission to Abydos, got a wife, lost his wife, died, became an ancient, helped O'Neill and Teal'c as an ancient, tried to save Abydos, got turned back to a human, lost most of his memory, all of that
O'Neill lost his son, was also on the first mission I believe, is pretty much the leader of SG-1, and apparently, as I have recently learned, IS THE NEXT STEP IN HUMAN EVOLUTION.
Even the stand-in! Jonas is also an alien, his planet is home to Naquadria, the otherworldly bugs, he was the first to see those, something something the time Carter and O'Neill almost exploded into water, he showed whats-his-face, I believe it was Anubis, where the Naquadria is and massively screwed up via doing so.
What about Carter? She made leaps in Stargate research, sure, but what else? She never resurrected, she's not an alien, she never got Ancient Knowledge bluetoothed into her head, she's just smart.
When Daniel Jackson sees her for the first real time after ascension, it's not emotional or plot important like O'Neill or Teal'c, he addresses her, then addresses Jonas THE SAME WAY, then talks to O'Neill. I recently saw the episode where O'Neill gets cloned, and there's a scene where she's trying to give a lecture on jets to new recruits, and guess what?
The new recruits ignore her completely. They laugh at her. Then FIFTEEN YEAR OLD O'Neill clone comes in and they IMMEDIATELY LISTEN TO HIM? They would sooner listen to a 15 year old boy about these devices than an accomplished scientist and pilot.
For the first few seasons, it seemed like she was always the one coming up with ideas. Until Jonas came along, and suddenly he was the quick thinker. Now I'm not quite sure what role she even plays. She's a good shot with a gun, and with alien tech, but ultimately that's Teal'cs and maybe O'Neills job. She's smart, but Cloneill was able to get back from an Asgard ship easily, and it's not her they named a ship after, it's him.
I just want to know, does Sam Carter ever become plot relevant in the same way the others do, Alien, Ascended, Evolved, or does she just stay being a way for the writers to pen in solutions to episodes that the other characters wouldn't learn, and an occasional love interest for O'Neill? Cuz this is starting to piss me off. The only time I can remember her being relevant was when a Tokra 'possessed' her, and her dad being the Tokra 'representative', but ultimately those matter more for connections than they do for her character.
To be clear, this isn't me criticizing her characterization. She's probably my favorite character on the whole team, and she's written fairly well, I just want to know when, if at all, Sam Carter will have an important impact on the universe like the other characters, outside of one thing that happened before when the show is set.
I have arrived in Kitakami, and, of course, I brought my child. My dear Chloroform Pollen Jamboree the 225th. (Technically just Chloroform cuz yk, 12 letters, but still.)
I am a little concerned though-
- that her first instinct upon seeing a new place was to immediately exterminate all wildlife.
My cute little murderer. As soon as I get my grubby little mitts on a sun stone I'm gonna give her her Magical Girl Transformation.
Can't wait to beat the shit out of everyone with my Pretty Pink Princess / Anti-Ecosystem Genocidal Maniac.
The eyes of a killer. Look at her. So ruthless. She knows Giga Drain. Her ability is Own Tempo. She can not be intimidated.
(second playthrough, just felt like pressuring Kieran into ego death via Pwetty Pwincess this time. Make no mistake, she's 'Hardy by nature' and 'strongly defiant', and she will be fed as much Calcium as my bank account deems possible. She is pretty, not fragile.)
Oh yeah and he's there too ig...
I feel like I've commited the ultimate sin (Sick ass female monster's human design is just some lady).
I'm sorry. I'll do better. I'll be better.
Found a pistachio on the floor. No idea how long it's been there. Didn't eat it.
Wait. Hold on. Hold up.
Nvm. I was thinking "then what the hell is Ruis?" Then I re-read it and realized he said anomalous illnesses.
I had a sneaking suspicion this won't work. Will that end up being because MCs curse isn't technically an "anomalous illness"?

Hey. Minors following me. Internet safety is key!! NEVER include these in your bio/byf:
Medical diagnoses - this is nobody's business but yours. You don't owe anyone an explanation for why you are the way that you are
Trauma - same reason as above
Triggers - people can use these against you! Don't give people tools to hurt you. No one has to know what tags you block. Just block tags to stay safe!
Age - age is okay for adults to include but is iffy when you're a teen. Predators want this information, don't give people more than they need. Just state that you're a minor, that's all that anyone needs to know.
In general: stay safe. If you're not comfortable with every stranger out there having access to this information, you shouldn't post it on the internet.
Play devil's advocate and ask yourself about what would happen if someone searched for your information with intent to hurt you. You do NOT owe anyone an explanation!
