Person A: I have a plan.
Person B: Does it involve us not getting into trouble?

Rating: Explicit Word Count: 75,561 Type: Non-Magic!AU, Western!AU
Summary: West Texas, 1861. “I’m unsure when we elected to hand the reigns of this operation over to a hophead felon and a bottom-tier bounty hunter.”
Warnings: Drug use/addiction, character death, graphic depictions of violence
Comments: Where did this glorious, epic fic come from?? I’m not usually one for Western AUs, but this author avoids the tacky romanticization of the West and instead grounds the fic in gritty realism. There’s no shying away from the drugs and violence that outlaw!remus and bounty hunter!sirius experience. Canon elements were so brilliantly mirrored with Riddle’s smuggling operation (Bellatrix was a favorite) and the suspicion surrounding a spy in their group. There’s also a certain satisfaction I get from reading a fic so well researched. I was so enveloped in this world from start to finish; I definitely think this fic needs more love.

give me a judge who doesn't even think twice about convicting a rapist,
give me presidents all over the world who'll give immigrants and the lgbt community the rights they deserve,
give me teachers who understand how learning really works and how pressure never helped anyone,
give me parents who think that depression or any other mental disorder is just 'a phase',
give me men and women and transgender generals who believe that everyone is equally strong and brave no matter their gender
Im just really excited at how our generation of idealistic dreamers and just open minded humans who love each other is gonna change the world ❤

It looks very impressive, doesn’t it? It’s very exciting. And I found it quite, and this is an odd thing to say, I found it quite touching because I remember, when I was cast as Loki for the very first time, almost 10 years ago, and Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, called me into his office to say congratulations, and one of the first things he said was, ‘Let me talk to you about Avengers.’ And I thought I had just been cast in Thor. And he’s told me the dream he had to build this fleet of films, this Marvel Cinematic Universe that was culminating in Avengers. And suddenly the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been expanded to such an extraordinary size that it can encompass and encapsulate so many different characters who people have taken to their hearts and followed and loved, whether it’s all the people from the Captain America films or the Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s become so peopled now. It’s just so impressive, and I say that almost outside it. And I feel so lucky to be a part of it. That’s why I found it exciting.

Ok lets be real, if ‘the first thing you said to your soulmate is tattooed on your skin’ was real then greeting people with your full name would just be the thing that everyone did so that it would be easier to find your other half. Except that one time when your having a bad day and some idiot spills coffee all over your laptop and you spend a solid five minutes swearing at them and then they pull up their sleaves and there is your whole rant laid before you and you give a final 'shit’.
