Finally, a good shot of Stabler's desk and as suspected, it is his personal family images on the desk with Chris' wife Sherman and kids Sophia and Dante.
Also, looks like a picture from a magazine of Meloni & Hargitay going in for a kiss while filming, like they mess about and do often. lol!

33. something you want to learn
20- favourite song is hard, as I don’t really listen to modern music, but I liked the new James Bond theme song and the two Abba songs from their new album

Elliot Stabler is an architect with his own firm. Does lots of projects to build schools, hospitals etc for the less well-off/the local community. He was travelling and doing that in other countries before, then decided he could also make a difference at home, wants to meet someone and settle down, have a family snd be an involved/present dad and he really missed his family.
Big, loving Irish family: siblings Shannon and Dee, Randall, Benjamin ( deceased after fighting in the armed forces) then there’s Elliot after a big gap and another big gap before Joe Jr. Dad Joe is a cop and basically parents like Elliot does, and Bernie teaches art at school and to adults/the elderly. Her bipolar is spotted early on and she goes on medicine that works for her and is supported by her kids and husband. His sisters and older brothers all have kids from more or less good relationships. One is Aisling, she’s a young adult who interns/works for her Uncle El ( answers the phone, makes appointments, opens mail).
Olivia is paired with Munch and they have to investigate a crime, one of Elliot’s former employees/clients is involved/the victim so they talk to him. Aisling calls him Mr Stabler at work, keeps things very professional but later Liv and Munch go through his texts/e-mails and/or see him having dinner with his niece, they see them laughing/hugging/using her first name or an endearment like honey or sweetheart/he kisses her cheek so they think he’s dodgy. After some questioning, he is found innocent and Olivia offers to take him out for a drink as an apology ( they both had major heart eyes for the other when they met), which turns into dinner then dating.
They get pregnant fairly quickly but Olivia miscarries. They call the baby Aidan Michael.
They get married as Olivia rises through the ranks, and go on to have Charlotte Olivia, Sophia or Stella Bernadette, twins Matthew Joseph ( Mattie) and Margaret Joy ( Maggie) followed by an anniversary celebration « oops baby » called Elinor Grace. They could also adopt Calvin and/or Noah.
Olivia makes Captain and Elliot mostly works from home and has some help from his parents/family/a nanny.
Liv’s partners all stay in touch with her and are honorary aunts and uncles. Elliot becomes great friends with Carisi.
Halloween Season 9 additional scene
« Oh, Sir, you don’t have to do that! », Penelope exclaimed, seeing her boss pick up the now full trash bag and deftly closing it with the plastic tie.
« It’s fine, Penelope. You’ve just hosted a wonderful evening, so the least I can do is help you clean up. », he replied, donning the bright purple gloves with feathery trim used for doing the dishes.
He swiftly filled the sink, added dish soap to a sponge and began washing the plates, glasses and silverware that had been used over the course of the evening.
Penelope busied herself putting away leftovers and they worked in companiable silence, occasionally bumping shoulders as Penelope got containers out, opened the fridge and put away unused utensils.
Once she was satisfied that everything had been satisfactorily stored in its proper place, she came to join him at the sink, drying what had already been washed.
Hotch began humming quietly, earning him a surprised look from Penelope.
« Sorry, Penelope, I’ll stop if it’s bothering you. I always seem to sing or put music on when I’m doing chores, it makes them less boring somehow. » he apologised.
« No, please don’t stop, it’s lovely! I had no idea you were so musical! You also have great taste, Blackbird is such an underrated Beatles song! » , she trilled, grinning widely.
As the two of them finished tidying up the kitchen, they sang together, voices harmonising on ABBA, Queen and Beatles songs.
« Well, I think that’s everything. I’ll take the trash out for you on my way out. » said Hotch. « Thank you again for a wonderful evening, Penelope. » he continued.
« Thank you, Sir. Please don’t leave yet, I’ve got something for you, for your birthday! » Penelope replied, rushing to her bedroom and rapidly opening and closing cupboards and drawers before returning.
« It’s not much, but I hope you like it » she announced, handing over a red gift bag with a flourish. « And yes, I know you don’t want a big fuss made of you and your day at the office, but it and you should definitely be celebrated! » she uttered, gesturing wildly with her hands and smiling broadly.
Hotch blushed and smiled, activating his dimple.
« Thank you very much, Penelope. You’re so thoughtful, and I appreciate your discretion. If your presents for Jack are anything to go by, it will be perfect! » he replied, opening his arms for her to hug him.
She squeezed him tightly, reaching up impulsively to kiss his cheek and leaving a scarlet lipstick mark there.
« You’re welcome, Sir. Now let’s get you home before the witching hour and I turn into a pumpkin! Drive safe! » she declared, releasing him from her embrace and guiding him to her front door, then ushering him into the hallway.
« Goodnight, Penelope, see you at work tomorrow », he replied, waiting until the door had shut behind him to touch his cheek and discovering the vibrant red makeup mark she had left on his cheek.
His technical analyst certainly was one of a kind, he mused.
One of my favourite scenes from Organized Crime from series 2, The Christmas Episode.
When Elliot goes to get Eli and take him home, the doctor wants a word with Elliot. He is reluctant to listen at first but Liv, who has accompanied him for support, calms him and gets him to listen.
The doctor talks about Eli's upset about his possible involvement in Mia's death but says he was just as upset and maybe more frightened how his father would react.
Elliot takes a second to process this before asking if this means Eli is afraid of him. The doctor clarifies that no, Eli is not afraid of him, but for him.
As Elliot reacts to this, there's a beautiful shot of both him and Mariska, before reacting to what was said. Elliot struggling to contain his emotions and Liv unsure what to do to support him. She steps back, behind Elliot as he goes to collect Eli and as he's moved away from her, she puts her hand to her chest.
Elliot goes and embraces him son, realising just how much he is going through himself and tells him 'Let's go home'. Olivia watches from outside, still affected by it all. Elliot wipes at his eyes as they leave and Liv walks side by side with Elliot as they head home.
This story is just so so good! I cannot wait to see how it plays out!

Happy birthday 🎂 🎈🎁 to me! According to the updates I get via e-mail, I have been on here just over a year.
To celebrate, I would like to answer or fulfil any asks/questions/fic or drawing ideas or requests people have for Criminal Minds… Anything to mark the occasion, really!
Oh my gosh, you know what never gets mentioned? How the "narcissist, bully, drill sargent" scene included Garcia - who didn't say DICK. which can be viewed three ways. 1) she's not around Hotch enough to be able to judge (bullshit) 2) she's too scared to say anything (also bullshit) or 3) She can't find anything worth critiquing. (Ding ding ding). I like to imagine she would have wanted to say "You work too much" or "You should smile more" but she didn't think it was the time to say so.
1) She fields his calls all the time. By now the two of them at least have rapport. They’re friends in some way. She jokes with him and, hell, he jokes back!
2) Penelope Garcia... afraid to speak her mind? To Hotch of all people? Nah. That’s silly.
3) ... She can’t find anything worth critiquing.
“If they can’t fix it in less than five minutes, don’t say anything about it.”
And you know what? She likes him just the way he is. She doesn’t see the point of this silly meanness. That’s probably why Hotch leads them to another room.
It’s why she follows him.
“Sir?”
He’s just standing there. The harm done. The case... cracked? It takes him a moment to acknowledge her but when he does she sees the tears in his eyes. He can’t take this. He can’t take her adding on.
“I—ugh— I think you should smile more.”
He shakes his head, trying and failing to understand.
“That’s my— my... contribution. Cause you’re not a bully or a narcissist. They know that.”
He swallows thickly around the tight knot in his throat. “Thank you,” he rasps, ducking his head. Hiding his red-rimmed eyes.
“Anytime, sir.”
